This was my first CC appointment for this wonderful breed and a thank you to all the exhibitors we gave me such a quality entry at the National. I had such a lovely day. Thanks to the National for this very special invitation and to my super stewards who kept us all on track.

My template for this stunning breed is quite straight forward… Ideally, I am looking for a small, stylish, square dog, with that ideal balance of elegance & sturdiness, without any coarseness or frailty, beautifully marked and having the head details that sets this breed apart from all others. On the move they should be light of foot, hold their square shape, head held proudly, and their temperament should convey a sense of inflated ego, full of their own self-importance, self-assured, happy and outgoing in spirit.

I am very happy to say that I found many today that fitted the bill and some very promising youngsters whose careers I will follow in the future.
