Baby Puppy 6

1. Johnston, Wilson and Duddle’s, Danluke Duct and Ducted. 4 months. This baby is so well balanced he presents a stunning profile on the stand. Lovely head, super topline and ample neck into well laid shoulders. Impressive hindquarters. Moved impressively.

2. Howgate & Hull’s Palmik Raincheck. 4 months. Another lovely young dog and equally impressive as 1. Classic head; lovely neck and shoulders. Balanced throughout and of a lovely size. Correct front angulations; hindquarters nicely angulated. Excellent bone. Giving some away to 1 in maturity but close up.

3. Sharp’s Saintharp A Moment in Time.

Veteran 7,2.

1. Price’s Ch Wheelspin Silver Shadow Among Silkdance. JW VW. 8 years. I remember him as a youngster. Well-made and naturally well matured. Balanced, classic head of good length. Well set, lengthy neck. Good depth of brisket. Stands on good feet. He is so well angulated his movement was impressive, particularly his forehand, which gave him the edge over 2.

2. Wayman’s Crème Anglaise’s One More Knight At Scarletfair. (Imp NLD), VW. 10 years. In super condition for age. Lovely fawn/white coat. Attractive masculine head and expression. Firm under jaw. Lengthy, elegant neck and well bodied.

3. Barkas’s Jimanica Just Dreaming.

Minor Puppy 13,4

A class containing a number of exciting prospects.

1. Miluk’s Emandoria Florida Pearl With Tumblers (Imp POL). 7 months. I thought him something special heading this hotly contested class of quality youngsters. He stands well over the ground with good feet and well sprung pasterns. Beautifully balanced he presents a stunning outline when standing. Classic head, super neck into well laid shoulders. Good brisket. Shapely topline and complementary underline. Well angulated hindquarters. Easy, accurate mover.

2. Ryan’s Riocife Moonology. 7 months. Another most promising puppy. Nicely balanced and scores in size, type and proportions. Head still to develop. Excellent chest. Nicely angulation front and rear. Moved really well demonstrating a very free easy stride. Lovely coat and condition.

3. Dillon’s Citycroft Not My First Rodeo at Runforest.

Puppy 5

1. Dillon’s Citycroft Not My First Rodeo at Runforest. 3rd in the strong MPD class but he certainly moved up a gear. He has a most appealing head, lengthy neck above well laid shoulders. Hindquarters are well angulated; neat feet. He was more confident, excelled in movement emphasising his super outline and balanced proportions.

2. Jones’s Johthryn Snooze You Loose. 7 months. In lovely coat and condition. Elegant and balanced throughout, OK for neck into well laid shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Deep chest. Would prefer more defined rise over the loins. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Strong hocks and correct tail set.

3. Perkins’s Silkridge Figgy Pudding with Zeglynn.

Junior 6

1. Foxwell’s Cobyco Capture The Look At Redfoxia. 1 year. Pleasing for overall balance and shape. Perhaps not the largest he has good bone structure. Liked his depth of chest, underline and topline. Balanced head with enough neck above well laid shoulders. His well angulated already muscled hindquarters and economic forehand produced accurate, effortless, movement which, in the final go around, just gave him the edge.

2. Wayman’s Tervanty Dream Of Dragons At Scarletfair. 18 month old in good coat and condition. Balanced masculine head of good length. Super for length neck and depth of chest; excellent feet and body maturing well. Gentle rise over loin. Confident mover.

2. Piper’s Crosscop Hounds Of Love. 15 months and ideally would like a little more of him overall. Good depth of chest. He is particularly well angulated throughout which produced impressive movement securing his placing.

Special Beginners 10,2

1. Thomas & Prynne’s Swistir Talk of The Town. 3rd in JD. 15 months. Attractive red brindle with white trim. In this class his forehand was more settled. Good for neck, well bodied and deep chest. Attractive, balanced head. Pleasing temperament. In super condition.

2. Leverett’s Whippiness Eyes Down. 3rd in YD. 13 months and maturing nicely. Another young dog that settled following his first class. He is balanced when standing. Correct for topline. Good for chest, topline and tail set. He moved steadily.

3. Penberthy’s Almakaeala Just Go With It.

Graduate 11,3

1. Blackburn’s Mazargo Whole Lotta Trouble. 18 months. I thought he was the most complete in the class. Liked his overall outline when standing. Balanced head with correct underjaw. Scores in neck and lay of shoulder. Nicely conditioned. Steady on the move.

2. Mulligan’s Keirpark Love Me Tender At Ashkyem. 2 years. Not the largest but of sufficient bone and substance. Attractive head and expression. Good for neck. Clean front. OK for brisket. Lovely coat and condition. Not the front movement of 1.

3. Bentley’s Flowerswool Hercule By Moon.

Post Graduate 11,1

1. Cahill and Timberlake’s Shine on Harvey Moon at Chipperlake. 3 years. There is an air of refinement in this well put together young dog. He is impressive on the stand for size and balance. Attractive head. Lengthy neck into well laid shoulders. Neat straight front and correct feet. In super coat. Well angulated hindquarters. Impressive, sound true mover.

2. Lawrence and Woodward’s Bryntreia High Maintenance. 4 years. Masculine head. Good for length of neck and brisket. Lovely skin and coat. Well angulated hindquarters. He moves confidently but on occassions his forehand became a tad untidy. When standing he produces such a classic outline. Close call.

3. Strong & Clinton’s Crosscop Kiss Me Here For Mackjama.

Mid Limit 4,1

1. Wayman’s Ranveli Beach Boy At Scarletfair. 4 years. Presented in excellent condition. Attractive, masculine head contains attractive eyes. Neck is nicely arched into well-laid shoulders. Good depth of brisket. Impressive ribbing. Secure loin; good sweep of stifle and well let down hocks. His purposeful movement gave him the edge over 2.

2. Price’s Kierpark Moonlight Shadow Among Silkdance. JW. Impressive, quality young dog. Super coat. Balanced head contains appealing dark eyes. Good dentition with strong underjaw. Neat front assembly and well laid shoulders leading into correct topline. Moved steadily.

3. Arkell’s Hijacked Of Suriya At Slingket (Imp DEU).

Limit 13,1

1. Richard’s Richclass From Here On Out. 3 years old and clearly impressive. On the stand, he illustrates a balanced outline. His proportioned masculine head contains dark, appealing eyes. I admired his lay of shoulder, depth of chest, and ribbing. Hindquarters are well angulated, contributing to such impressive movement. Presented in fabulous condition. He continued to impress in the very competitive challenge.

2. Powell, Spademan and Mycroft’s Supeta’s Jammie Dodger For Almakaeala JW. Another very appealing young dog. F/W trim. Loved his overall size and shape. Handled to perfection. At two years old there is still more to come. He is unexaggerated and well put together and upon examination he impresses further. In a close call, 1 just had the edge in forehand today but clearly splitting hairs.

3. Wayman’s Collooney Charlie Brown at Scarletfair JW

Open Dog 11,4

1. Yacoby-Wright’s Ch Cobyco Catch Your Eye. And he did! Impressive — he simply screams breed type, oozing quality throughout. Decidedly masculine, yet possessing elegance and style. I loved his head and eyes and his overall conformation. Presented in hard condition and in super coat. On the move he was breathtaking — sound, honest, and effortless — and this gave him the edge over 2 in a close, keenly contested decision. CC and later in the afternoon, BOB by the referee’s decision.

2. Wheeler’s Ch Ranvelli Diki Diki. A dog I have consistently admired from the ringside and from the outset of the class, I thought he would be my winner. Upon examination he is so beautifully put together presenting such a classic outline. Beautiful head contains dark, expressive eyes. Super neck and shoulders; well ribbed. Topline has a graceful arched loin. He clearly is a fabulous dog and whilst he moved well enough, today I felt he was not quite at his very best. RCC.

3. Dillon & Bailey’s Ch Collooney Eat My Shorts At Runforest JW.

Racing/Lure Coursing 5,1
