Boston & District Canine Society Championship Dog Show 2025
Poodle (Miniature)
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Officers and Committee of the Boston & DCS for the honour of my first appointment to judge Miniature Poodles with CCs at their show.
The show was superbly organised, and it was a real pleasure to be part of such a well-run event. I was absolutely delighted with my entry and thoroughly enjoyed judging.
Thank you also to the exhibitors for their sporting acceptance of my decisions — it was a privilege to go over your lovely dogs.

1st Minarets Counter Attack (Miss M Harwood). 16 months. White. Presented to perfection. Exquisite feminine head with excellent complementary black pigmentation. Long fine head with beautiful, dark almond shaped eyes which were on fire; black nose and eye rims enhanced. Lengthy neck leads to the best of shoulders. Withers in line with elbows and overall her front assembly is most impressive. Her muscular body has a deep chest and well sprung ribs. Initially, spooked by another dog, she soon recovered, demonstrating easy reach and drive, covering the ground straight and true. Expertly handled, there is clearly more to come. I had no hesitation in awarding her first CC.
