Breed: Shetland Sheepdog

VD/B (2) 1. Ch Lavika Black Beauty JW VW (Miss K Robinson) attractive tri, pleasing outline and proportions, good croup and tail set. Well boned legs to oval feet. Attractive wedge head, well placed ears and eyes, just losing a little conditioning under eyes as common with older dogs. Well angulated behind, easy and effortless mover. BV and Vet G3. 2. Sundark Simply A Star (Mrs S A Hirst), super condition for age, found her shade long in profile, moderate angulation. Good topline and sloping croup. Feminine head, well placed eyes, good wedge head, with defined planes. Moved well in profile, but tendency to crab, so not as clean in front or behind as winner. MPD (2) 1. Burraland Din Djarin (Mrs N J Hamzaoui), very much a baby and hasn’t got the glamorous coat yet, but what he has is promising. Good bone, tight feet. Liked his head, correct wedge with good proportions and defined stop, lovely expressive oblique eye with neat ears. Clean mover. 2. Balidorn Olympic Star (Mrs M E & Miss H Botham & Gamble), pleasing in outline and more mature in coat. Found him a little upright in shoulder and this means didn’t have the arch of neck of winner. Somewhat raw and needs to develop in head and body, as rather close on move coming & going. Well presented and sweet nature. PD (5,2) 1. Degallo The Prodigy (Mrs L Forbes), lovely sable with lots of promise, well coated and with good bone. Very typical head, with the correct expression, he has good wedge head, enough stop to create correct planes, and well-placed eyes and ears. Pleasing in outline with smooth outline from back to skull to set of tail and was well angulated front and rear. Good mover, with correct reach, and clean in all directions. 2. Heart of Love Manada De Grande at Dacfolke (Imp Pol) (Mrs C Folkes), striking back-and-white, with smooth outline and correct balance. Good bone. Excellent presentation. Well angulated, and good mover. Head has correct rounded muzzle and clean cheeks but preferred the expression of winner. 3. Burraland Din Djarin (Mrs N J Hamzaoui). JD (5) 1. Iskander Bohemia Classic for Oakcroft (Imp Cze) (Mrs V Winfield), good size and in lovely coat, enough bone, tight feet. Good angulation front & rear and enough neck, standing in profile he can look a little bum high, but on examination it is coat. Best mover in the class, with good reach and minimum lift of front legs. Attractive head, super oblique medium sized eye, and neat ears, good parallel planes, has sweet expression. 2. Degallo The Name of The Game (Mrs L Forbes), little longer cast than winner, has good hind angles but would prefer little more in front, and found him a little tight in front on the move. Attractive expression, with well-rounded muzzle, sadly lacking in many. Correct eye and neat ears all contribute to expression. 3. Cocaro The Highlander (Mrs C & Mr C Rossiter). ND (3) 1. Iskander Bohemia Classic for Oakcroft. 2. Burraland Din Djarin. 3. Balidorn Olympic Star (Mrs M E & Miss H Botham & Gamble). GD (2,1) 1. Ferngroves Skywalker JW (Mrs R Norris), pleasing in outline, can look stuffy in neck, but he has a huge mane, good topline to sloping croup and low set tail. Correct angulation front & rear. Strong topline and good croup. Attractive head, with well placed eye and flat skull, was a little reluctant to use ears given the noise in the hall, but they are well placed. Moved well. PGD (1) 1. Oakcroft The Mandalorian JW (Mrs V Winfield), Attractive dog in profile, shown in good jacket, not overdone. Would prefer a little more reach of neck for perfect balance. Well boned throughout. Lovely expression from oblique eyes and neat ears, good head planes and flat skull, very promising dog. LD (5) 1 Valdosta Gracelands JW (Miss A Mitchell), good size, attractive outline, sufficient angulation in front, good bend of stifle, and has well defined hocks. Shown in correct coat, fitting the dog. Smooth flowing outline, with rounded croup and low set tail. Head has the correct sweet expression, flat skull, parallel planes and enough depth through skull. Well placed medium eye. Small ears used well. Moved well in all directions. Strongly considered for higher honours. 2. Ferngrove’s Valentino JW (Mrs V Norris), correct sized dog, shown in excellent coat, well boned legs to tight oval feet, pasterns could be a shade firmer. Good head, with correct parallel planes and stop, good sized dark eye set obliquely, and rounded muzzle, Neat well set ears. Moved soundly in all directions. 3. Philhope in Good Taste (Mr S T & Mrs S J Pierce) OD (2) 1. Ch Edglonian Golden Graham (Miss D Pearson), super construction on this beautifully presented sable and white. Firm top line to good croup and well-set tail. Excellent angles and arched neck, which is a feature missing in many. He is masculine in head, with flat skull and ears used well, being picky would like a slightly sweeter expression. But he is so well made and moves so soundly in all direction, with minimum lift of feet, could not be denied BOB, please to hear he was G3. 2. Ch Lavika Deep Blue Ocean (Miss K Robinson), another beautifully presented, smaller framed blue merle. Well boned and in good jacket. Smooth outline, with firm topline and sweep over croup. Balanced good angles and another who moves well. Attractive head, flat skull, with correct planes and neat ears, would just like a little more underjaw., RCC

MPB (4) 1. Shelcrest Bright Star (Mrs P Sapsford), lovely outline, very good angulation. Not in full coat but her shape is lovely. Super top line, and arched neck, correct croup to low set tail. Correct bone for a bitch. Feminine head, well set eye, flat skull, sweet expression, well muscled for one so young and best mover in the class. 2. Oakcroft Amazing Star (Mrs V Winfield), very attractive head, well proportioned and correct planes with oblique eye. Lovely ears used well to give good expression. Moved sound behind – but tends to high step in front as not quite the angulation as winner. 3. Suthesley Petunia (Mrs L Sutherland). PB (6) 1. Philhope Clearly Precious (Mr S T & Mrs S J Pierce) easy class winner, well angulated front and rear, arched neck and good bone. Shown in well-fitting coat. Very attractive head, well defined wedge in profile, enough stop breaking correct planes, lovely eye and ears used well. Out moved the rest of the class, plenty of drive and light and easy action in front, BP, RCC and PG2. 2. Karamel Kiss Ze Shetlandu by Zaniah (Imp Cze) (Miss M Rennison), very well schooled, pleasing in profile on stand. Rear angulation is ok, but would prefer little more in front. Good topline and croup. Head is promising with good planes and eye, needs to develop in muzzle, as expect at this age. Clean moment behind, but not reach of winner. 3. Savendie Meleys (Miss L Mettan-Ure) JB (4,1) 1. Sherkarl Blue Elegance (Mr D G & Mrs Y L Haensel), loved her character, so alert, attractive blue merle, in between coats as is typical at this age. Well boned and good size, excellent angles front and rear. Head shows lot of promise, good planes and well placed eye, ears set a little wide, just needs to develop. Good topline, smooth outline in profile, best mover. 2. Sheltysham Blackberry (Miss J L Watkins), good outline, and topline. Would prefer more front angulation. Skull to mature, would like more strength to muzzle to give correct wedge. Eyes a shade round. Correct flat skull. Good coat. Moved ok behind but not quire reach of winner. 3. Achor's Surprise Himalaya over Samphrey (Imp Che) (Mr S & Mrs D Gruszka). NB (4,1) 1. Karamel Kiss Ze Shetlandu by Zaniah. 2. Sherkarl Blue Elegance. 3. Oakcroft Amazing Star. GB (6,1) 1. Sabema Mayfly at Ferngrove (Mrs V Norris) not in full coat but shows correct double coat, and can see her correct outline. Enough bone for bitch, moderate angulation in front (better than many seen today). Well arched neck, firm topline. Feminine head, good planes and mid point stop, almond dark eye. Moved well, sound in all directions with minimum lift in front. 2. Divinecroi's Bonny Ailbhe (Mrs H Diviney), attractive coat and correct in outline. Though preferred the neck of the winner. Head is well proportioned, correct eye. Litle untidy in front on the move but sound behind. 3. Molson More About Me at Cocaro (Mrs C & Mr C Rossiter). PGB (5,1) 1. Evad Halloween Spice JW (Mrs D K Weller), mature bitch, lovely in profile, with correct marked angulation, and well let down hock. Shown in good coat, which is well prepared. Head carried on arched neck, lovely expression from super eye, rounded muzzle giving correct wedge and well placed and well used ears. Sound from all directions on move. Pushed hard for top awards.2. Edglonian Apricot Lil (Miss D Pearson), not quite as mature in head as winner, needs to strengthen muzzle. Good planes, and well placed eye and ear. Feel she carries too much coat on neck, which spoils her outline, and hides the correct angles underneath. Firm back with typical rise over loin, moves well in all directions. 3. Philhope Summer Time to Sherkarl JW (Mr D G & Mrs Y L Haensel) LB (7) 1. Balidorn Golden Amber ShCEx (Mr W & Mrs C Rosslyn), feminine all through, pleasing outline with correct amount of coat. Correct bone and angles. Very typical wedge head with correct expression, flat skull, good planes and ear and eye set. Used ears well. Sound on the move in all directions. Strong contender for RCC. 2. Philhope Taste for Fashion (Mr S T & Mrs S J Pierce) not quite as developed in head as winner, would like little more underjaw.to complete the blunt wedge. Good topline and croup and ok angles. Moved well in profile and behind just found winner was more positive in front. 3. Lavika Sunset Rose JW (Miss K Robinson) OB (5,1) 1. Valdosta Goddess JW (Miss A Mitchell) lots to like about this bitch, has good bone and excellent coat flowing outline, correct croup. I do like her rich sable colouring. She excels for head and expression, super eye, well set. Flat skull, clean cheeks, lovely ears used so well. Pleasing angles and neck. Light and clean on the move with good ground cover. CC. 2. Degallo Blonde Ambition (Mrs L Forbes), another who is well coated and moved well. She has a pretty wedge shaped head with good planes, good eye and ear. Enough neck to good topline. Just would prefer little more length to leg for overall balance. 3. Philhope Summer Highlights at Sherkarl (Mr D G & Mrs Y L Haensel)
