Many thanks to my two excellent stewards. Sadly, there was a few absentees but fortunately, there was plenty of quality in the entry today.

Class 2879 PD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 5761 SARSON, Mrs D & SARSON, Mr G Arrowflight Tres Beau. Refined, lengthy head with good chin and pleasing leathers. Good forehand with some breadth and depth of chest and definite forechest. Short backed and well ribbed with good tailset and carriage. Dense harsh coat and he has a light, easy action. A lovely character. Best Puppy.

2nd: 5763 TOFTS, Miss Joanna Claire Poornima Im On My Way. Good for size and overall balance, not quite as refined in skull but he has a pleasing intelligent expression. Sturdy, well ribbed body with slightly hollowed back and nicely rounded, angulated hindquarters. Very pleasing on the move.

Class 2880 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5753 JONES, Miss Jess Volgarus Amarillo Sky. Masculine head (not coarse) with good eyes and decent leathers. Good reach of neck. Well laid shoulders with soe breadth and decent depth of chest. Well ribbed body. Feet could be tighter. Very good coat texture. Moved soundly but just a little over awed by the noise in the hall and the constantly banging door.

Class 2881 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5757 NASH, Miss A J Antiquarius Gabriel Jw. Really pleasing head and expression; well-shaped dark eyes. Good forehand with lengthy crested neck and well placed shoulders and very typical feet. Good body with ribs extending well back. He moved with a light, easy action.

2nd: 5762 SELLICK, Miss K A Volgarus Spice Up Your Life With Inixia. Looking very smart in his sporting trim. Attractive head and expression. Well ribbed but just a fraction longer in loin than the winner. Strong, well muscled and nicely angulated hindquarters.

Class 2882 LD (5 Entries) Abs: 2

Three smart dogs in this class.

1st: 5752 HUNTER, Ms E & MURPHY, Mrs A Silvora Cristal Star Jw. Masculine, refined head with good chin and decent leathers. Excellent forehand with nicely knuckled, compact feet. Good length of neck which he uses to advantage. Short back and well ribbed. Shown in a good coat and he really does make the most of himself on the move. I could happily have signed a CC for him.

2nd: 5758 PRIESTLEY, Miss Natalie Jade Joleena's His Excellency. Pleasing to handle as he is nicely made with a good body and nicely angulated hindquarters. Masculine head of good length. Harsh jacket. Just needs a little more “attitude” on the move.

3rd: 5750 GRINDEY, Mr Richard Malcolm & DYER, Mr Stephen Regulus Black Malricey

Class 2883 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 5756 LEE-MORRIS, Mr A & Mrs S Ch Michandy It's Showtime At Pupstar JW. CC & BOB. Glamorous yet masculine with all the deportment and carriage one hopes to find in the breed. Really lovely head and expression with dark, intelligent eye and defined chin. Excellent forehand with some forechest, good legs and very pleasing feet. Well ribbed with some breadth over the loins and his well-muscled hindquarters are nicely angulated. I was delighted to see him win the Utility Group and then Best in Show from a star studded line up. Many congratulations.

2nd: 5744 BRUCE, Mrs Fiona Am Ch Piedmont's James Bond With Donaska (Imp USA). Reserve CC. Very stylish and presented to very best advantage. Attractive, masculine head with lovely dark eyes. Good reach of neck. Decent feet. Strong, well ribbed body and like the winner, he has some breadth over the loins. Moved well with a very light, easy action combined with some drive.

3rd: 5743 BROOK, Miss F A Ch Sculbrook Had To Be A Miracle JW. A very classy dog.

1st: 5755 KITCHENER, Miss J Michandy Time After Time. Reserve CC. Presents a lovely overall picture. Head of good length with some chiselling and refinement. Very good forehand with forechest and decent compact feet. Short in back with very good tailset and carriage. Once settled she moved out really well in typical style.

1st: 5751 HARWOOD, Miss M Minarets Counter Attack. I loved her head and expression, dark eyes, great pigmentation and decent leathers. Clean neck of good length and well-laid shoulders. Good body and ribbing. Showed and moved well.

Class 2891 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: 5760 SARSON, Mrs D & SARSON, Mr G Arrowflight High Society At Dongara JW. CC. My best puppy I was told when I judged two years ago and she has fulfilled her early promise. She has a real air of quality. Attractive head with lovely eyes and good leathers. Long, reachy neck and good shoulders. Tight, well knuckled feet. Well bodied with good spring of rib and slight hollow to back. Her movement is sound and absolutely typical of the breed. Harsh dense jacket presented to advantage. I hope her third CC isn’t too far away.
