Best Veteran 1455 - Ch/Ir Ch Ralines Sazerac (Miss Woodvine-Shone)

Best Special Beginner 1442 - Westwillow Sweet Pea (Miss G Tubb)

If I am honest, I find this the most challenging variety of the breed to judge. Hind action can be difficult to assess if there is a lot of feathering and a long coat on the undercarriage can make a well balanced dog look low to the ground. In general, I was impressed with the physical soundness of most of the exhibits. All of the dogs were clean and well presented. I would urge breeders to pay particular attention to temperaments as a number were certainly timid and looked rather apprehensive. I did have some really high quality class winners. Thank you all for your support and it was lovely to hear applause for the winners at the conclusion of judging. My lovely Steward did an excellent job of keeping me in order.
