Three promising pups.

1st Place 2544 - Chacombe Hank at Paulian (Mr I & Mrs P Sidgwick). I could have brought this youngster home with me! Domed skull, well set ears; good sized, expressive eyes. His muzzle has some breadth and is well cushioned. Quite cobby and compact with breadth of chest and lovely body for age. Moved with freedom displaying some drive. Shown in perfect condition and his merry temperament was evident for all to see. Reserve CC and Best Puppy.

2nd Place 2545 - Chacombe Hendrix at Justacharma (Mr S C & Mrs G A J Smith). Close up and he too has so much to admire. Beautifully balanced and cobby and compact. Lovely skull and eyes, I thought the winner just had a shade more cushioning. Another I would happily take home.

3rd Place 2537 - Mitapip Macallan (Miss S Maddison)

1st Place 2536 - Justacharma Northern Magic (Miss S Maddison). A merry, charming Toy Spaniel. Domed skull with well set ears, dark expressive eyes and nicely cushioned muzzle. Shown in full coat with good feathering and he is very nicely balanced with good length of leg and a well ribbed body. Sound and true on the move and he shows well on a loose lead without being stacked. CC & BOB.

2nd Place 2532 - Lorphil Labryinth (Mrs L M & Mr M Gillhespy & Kirschbaum). Really attractive head and expression with a good sized, masculine skull and lovely eyes. Good forehand. He could carry a fraction more weight to advantage.

1st Place 2533 - Una De Melcourt (Miss C Gurtner). Bitch CC. Scores in maturity of body, ribbing and fullness of coat. Very nicely balanced, with a feminine head, well cushioned muzzle and large open nostrils. Cobby and compact with good ribbing. Has some drive on the move and was sound both out and back.

2nd Place 2543 - Chacombe Gladys Deacon at Cavallibrook JW (Mrs K F Ryan). She was a contender for top honours. Very pretty head and expression with a nicely finished muzzle. Good balance with a compact, well ribbed body. Moved out with plenty of drive.

Class 1217. Open Bitch

Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

1st Place 2528 - Aldoricka Sweet Victoria (Mrs D M Bailey). Reserve CC. Very attractive, feminine head with good sized skull, pleasing eyes and nicely cushioned muzzle. Well balanced with a well ribbed body and good topline. I thought the CC winner was just a little more positive coming back to me on the move but Victoria put on a good performance today and with ordinary luck should easily gain her title.

2nd Place 2541 - Ch Baldragon Fame Game at Ricksbury JW (Mr B Rix). A very well balanced, beautiful bitch of obvious quality. Lovely domed skull, expressive eyes and well cushioned muzzle. Cobby and compactly made and shown in first class condition.
