CC & BOB. I have admired this bitch from the ringside and hoped I would have the opportunity to handle her. She certainly doesn’t disappoint. Attractive feminine head with clean, dark expressive eyes. Good neck and shoulders. Short, compact, cobby body with depth of brisket. Nicely rounded hindquarters and short from hock to heel. She moved with drive and style on a loose lead and her gleaming silky coat is expertly presented. I was pleased to see her placed second in the good Gundog group. 2nd: 2773 HILLIER, Mr I & HILLIER, Mrs S Sh Ch Coedcernyw Calendar Girl JW. It was a real privilege to have two red bitches of this quality. I judged Calendar Girl earlier in the year at the Artemis Veteran of the Year Competition where she was the ultimate winner. I was so impressed with her and I still am. She is so “cockery” with her bustling merry action. Well-proportioned head, low set ears and good nose pad. Clean neck and shoulders. Sturdy well ribbed body with good depth of brisket. Well muscled, rounded hindquarters, low set hocks which she uses to advantage on the move. Excellent coat and she really does show to best advantage. Reserve CC and Best Veteran. I later awarded her the Gundog Veteran Group against some very strong competition. 3rd: 2778 KEW, Mr & Mrs S & J Withiflor Bird On The Wire Over Wylyeview Judge: Tom Mather
