PD (2,1)

1. Pryde’s Revloch Trappatoni (IKC). 11 mth old of pleasing type and presenting the correct outline for the breed. Moderate length of neck with is slightly arched, short back with good topline, ribbing extends well back and developing as it should for age, short loin and tail of good set and carriage. Well proportioned head with masculine expression; parallel planes, obliquely placed eyes, ears set on high and lean cheeks. Moderately angulated front and rear and he stands on very good feet but needs to fill in front for which he has time. Moves out briskly. Well handled. Best Puppy.

PGD (1,0)

1. Hall’s Debruix Inspector Lestrade*. 12 mth old who presented a super outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, short firm back, good depth to chest, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Quality head with pleasing proportions and planes, expressive obliquely placed eyes, ears set on high, lean cheeks and scissor bite. Correct angles front and rear and he stands on good feet but still to fill out in front. When gaiting, he goes so well on the go around and is true when going away but just needs to firm up in front action. Very well handled.

OD (5,1)

1. Maclellan’s Ch Debruix Moet Imperial**. 3 yr old who was a delight to go over. Masculine throughout, he presented a lovely balanced outline with slightly arched neck, short firm back, correct ribbing and deep in brisket, short muscular loin and tail good for set and carriage. Well proportioned head with parallel planes, expressive eyes which are obliquely places, ears set on well, lean cheeks and good underjaw. Soundly constructed front and rear, stands nice and straight in front on very good feet and presented with excellent muscle-tone. Gaiting true on the down and back and moves out with characteristic brisk action. Good quality coat. Best Dog & BOB and pleased to see him later get shortlisted in the Group.

2. Lawless & Donaldson’s Revloch Kasanova (IKC) JW ShCM VW. 10 yr old who was presented in such good condition and really doesn’t look his age. He also shows himself off to advantage and was another so well handled here. Moderate length of neck which is slightly arched, firm through the topline, good depth to chest, short well-muscled loin and tail pleased for set and carriage. Moderate angles both ends and he stands true in front on good feet. Moving freely when coming and going and also pleased on the go around but winner just had the edge. Reserve Best Dog and Best Veteran. Delighted to see he went on to win the Veteran Group.

3. Hayes’ Ulysse Des Perles Noires

PGB (3,1)

1. Maclellan’s Debruix Nancy Drew*. 12 mth old who appealed for type and presented a lovely outline with super neck, short firm back, good rib development, short in the couplings, correct croup and good tail for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, parallel planes, correct stop, expressive obliquely placed eyes, ears set on well, lean cheeks and good dentition. Moderately angulated front and rear, stands nice and straight in front and has good feet. Gaiting with brisk, light action and carries herself so well when viewed in profile and goes ok on the down and back. Good coat.

2. Ormsby & Donaldson’s Revloch Shakira at Kelflyn (IKC). This 2 yr old also pleased for outline and I thought her a good type. Moderate length of neck, short back with firm topline, good depth to chest, very good ribbing, nice short loin and tail of correct set and carriage. Well proportioned head with feminine expression; parallel planes but a tad more stop than the winner, good eyes and ear and lean cheeks. She stands well naturally and is moderately angulated. Gaiting freely and with typical action of the breed on the go around but winner just had the edge going away. Lovely temperament.

OB (3,1)

1. McNamara & Gardiner’s Kehala Dream Come True. Two good quality girls challenged in this class but they are quite different to each other. This 2 yr old came out on top who was so good hands on. She presented such a good outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, short firm back, excellent ribbing, short muscular loin and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with good proportions and planes, expressive obliquely placed eyes, ears set on high, well chiselled below the eyes and lean cheeks. Soundly built both ends and stands nice and straight in front on excellent feet. She didn’t let herself down when gaiting; free fore and aft and with such good profile action and carriage. Best Bitch.

2. Wraight’s Domburg Can't Forget Me of Denhalka***. 4 yr old who also appealed but of a slightly lighter build all round than winner. She presented a lovely outline with correct length of neck which is slightly arched, short back with firm topline, deep brisket, ribbing carried well back, short in the couplings, slight slope to croup and tail good for set and carriage. Attractive head with feminine expression; well proportioned with correct planes, good eye but those of winner were better, excellent ears and nice lean cheeks. Moderate angles front and rear and stands on super feet. Moves out briskly with good carriage. Very well handled. Reserve Best Bitch.
