1. Daly, Waddell & Crockett’s Thornberryhall U Can’t Touch This. Quality 6½ mth old pup who ticked all the boxes for me. Carrying good bone, he was a delight hands on and presented a super outline. Muscular neck of correct length to provide balance, firm through the topline, ribbed well back and developing as it should, strong loin and tail set on well and of good carriage. Masculine head with good width between his correctly set ears, dark expressive eyes, strength to muzzle and excellent dentition. Good angles front and rear, standing true on good feet and with good forechest. Gaiting freely with powerful driving action. Good quality jacket and presentation and so very well handled. CC, BOB & Best Puppy.
2. Crang’s Whooperhill Sand Castle. This 6 mth old was not entirely settled on the day but he appealed for overall type and carries good bone. Thick, muscular neck of pleasing length, topline to firm but he has plenty of time on his side, ribbing carried well back and tail good for both set and carriage. Pleasing head and expression; good skull, expressive dark eyes, ears of correct size and set, strong jaw, scissor bite and very good pigmentation. Moves well when going away, straight coming towards but a tad wider.

1. Franassovici’s Whooperhill Kings Ransom. 17 mth old who was a comfortable winner in this class for me. He scored for overall type, carries good bone and presented a nicely balanced outline. Muscular neck of good length, firm level back, good length to ribcage, muscular loin and excellent tail for set and carriage. Quality headpiece with breadth to skull, expressive eyes of good colour, super ears for size and set, powerful muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angles both ends and stands on good feet. Gaiting freely on the go around with drive from the rear and good enough coming towards. Good quality jacket. RCC.
2. Pawson Mantle, Mantle & Inman Lee’s Afterglow's Golden Ticket (Imp Usa). 15 mth old who presents a pleasing outline with good length of neck to balance, firm level back and tail of correct set but I would like a better spring of rib and more width all through. Balanced headpiece with strength to muzzle, eyes ok for colour, scissor bite and good pigmentation. When gaiting, he goes well when viewed in profile, is nice and free when going away and ok coming towards. Nails need attention. Good texture to jacket.

1. Crang’s Lushell Gwyn Cariad. This was a somewhat disappointing class. My winner was this 4 yr old who won on overall outline and construction, even though he was carrying a touch too much weight and he could have been better presented. Neck of good length to balance, firm through the topline, good length to ribcage, muscular loin and pleasing tail set. Well proportioned head with good skull, expressive eyes, ears good for size and set and correct dentition. Carrying good bone, he has pleasing angulation both ends. Moving well enough in profile and when going away but wider when coming towards.
2. Howle’s Dinglebrooke I Can. 2 yr old who I found was better to go over than I had anticipated. Neck of pleasing length, firm level back and ribcage of good length but would like more width all through. Head of pleasing proportions with expressive eyes, good ears, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Pretty good angles front and rear and when gaiting he goes well enough on the go around but is somewhat closer behind. Presentation of coat could be better.
3. Hemstock’s Jolihem Sirius Black

1. Hemstock’s Jolihem Mad Eye Moody. 2 yr old who has lots to like and was pleasing to go over. He has an excellent length of neck, is firm through the topline, ribbing extends well back, muscular loin and tail set on well. Masculine head and expression with breadth to skull, nice dark eyes, ears of correct size and set, powerful muzzle and good pigmentation. Pleasing angulation front and rear and he stands well naturally. Moves out pretty well on the go around and carries himself well, is true when going away and good enough coming towards. Good texture to jacket.

1. Evans’ Ch Nileda Our Mutual Friend. 8 yr old who very much appealed and was well presented. I thought him a good type and he carries good bone and substance. Excellent neck, firm topline, well sprung ribs, muscular loin and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Quality head with breadth to skull between his well set ears, expressive dark eyes and powerful muzzle. Pleasing front assembly, good forechest and stands on cat-like feet with nice thick pads. Strong rear with excellent muscle-tone. Plenty of drive from the rear and moves well on the down and back. Hard, wiry jacket. Best Veteran.

1. Daly, Waddell & Crockett’s Thornberryhall Touch Me. 6½ mth old of quality and very much appealed for overall type and presents a super outline. Best of necks, firm level back, excellent ribbing for age and tail good for both set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with strength to muzzle, expressive eyes of good colour and correct ears for size and set. Of sound construction front and rear and carrying lovely bone and she stands on excellent feet. Full of attitude and moves out well with purpose, pleasing on the down and back too. Good jacket and presentation. Super temperament. RCC.

1. Matthews’ Whooperhill The King's Swan at Leomona. 17 mth old who is full of quality, pleasing for type and outline and good hands on. Neck of good length, level back, good length to ribcage and ribs well sprung, muscular loin and tail set on well but could be straighter. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression; nice dark eyes, ears good for size and set, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation front and rear and she stands on good feet. Gaiting well when viewed in profile with good carriage and nice and firm when going away. Well handled.

1. Bell’s Whooperhill Serendipity for Letara JW. 22 mth old who very much appealed and was so good to go over given her correct construction. I thought her such a good type and she presented a very good outline with an excellent neck which flows smoothly into well-laid shoulders, firm level topline, super rib, muscular loin of good breadth and tail set on well. Feminine headpiece with breadth to skull, expressive dark eyes, correct ears for size and set, powerful muzzle, scissor bite and nice dark pigmentation. Soundly built all through and she moved freely on the down and back and goes well when viewed in profile too and with good carriage. Well presented jacket with plenty of texture. CC, her third I was informed.

1. Hampson’s Saore On A Sunrise High (Imp Ita). 5 yr old who is solidly built and for me an easy winner in this class. She presented the correct outline of the breed and has a good length of neck, is firm through the topline, has excellent ribbing and tail is set on well. Strength to head yet retaining femininity, expressive eyes, good ears, scissor bite and dark pigmentation. Pleasing angles front and rear and she moved out well when viewed in profile. Well presented jacket.
2. Oulton & Fourie’s Whooperhill Song. 22 mth old who is quite different to the winner and a slighter girl all through and not in full coat right now. Neck of good length, firm level back, and short loin but would like to see more spring of rib and more breadth all through. Feminine head with pleasing skull, expressive eyes of good colour, muzzle good have a touch more length, scissor bite and nice dark pigmentation. Pleasing angulation both front and rear and she goes very well on the go around.
