1. Sarson’s Arrowflight Tres Beau. 6 mth old black who was a comfortable winner here for me. He was good to go over and presented a well balanced outline with excellent neck, short firm back, good length to ribcage which is developing as it should, short in the couplings and tail pleased for set and carriage. Well proportioned head with good skull, expressive eyes, leathers set on low, defined chin and scissor bite. He stands nice and straight in front on acceptable feet and is well angulated in the rear. Moves out well with drive from the rear.
2. Dilworth’s Eikenberry Raphel. 8 mth old black who needs to gain more confidence but he did enough here to secure this placing. He appealed for overall type and is good in outline with neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, ribbing carried well back, short loin and tail set on well. Attractive head and expressive with good length to skull, almond-shaped eyes, leathers of correct set and good dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear and stands well naturally in front on pretty good feet. Moves more than ok but winner had the edge on the go around. Good quality coat.
