1. Denham-Horton & Bolton’s Tapui Haraldsson at Jjavacobe. Just out of puppy, this wheaten very much appealed and was good hands on. He has enough neck, is firm through the topline, ribbed well back, short in the couplings and curled tail set on high. Super headed lad with the very best of expressions; good breadth between his well set ears, excellent eye, medium length of muzzle, scissor bite and good pigmentation. Good angles both ends and stands true in front on excellent feet. Light, unrestricted action on the go around and good carriage. Very well handled. RCC.

2. Lambert’s Sturtmoor's Gon'n Dun It. 13 mth old wheaten who also has lots to like but quite different in outline to the winner. Neck of good length, firm topline, pleasing rib development and tail set on well. Masculine head with good skull, nice dark eyes, ears set on well, tapering muzzle, correct dentition and well pigmented all through but overall preferred expression of winner. Pleasing angles front and rear and he stands nice and straight in front on good feet. Gaiting well in profile and another well handled.

3. Cobb, Cobb & Kent’s Knytshall Ragged Robin

OD (3,2)

1. Langford’s Frostisen Zeffer. 3 yr old wheaten who presented a pleasing outline with moderate length of neck, level topline, good ribbing, short loin and curled tail set on well. Wedge-shaped head with breadth to skull, eye of good colour but more prominent than preferred, ears set on well and correct dentition. Very nice front assembly, standing nice and straight, elbows close to the body and pleasing forechest. Moves out with good length of stride and using himself as he goes. Good quality coat.

1. Cobb, Cobb & Kent’s Ch Koromandel Best Served Cold at Knytshall. 8 yr old wheaten of quality. All male, he appealed for overall type and presented such a good outline with nicely arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, excellent ribbing, short loin and tail set on nice and high. Well proportioned head with good breadth between his well set ears, correct stop, dark expressive eyes and scissor bite. Pleasing construction, standing nice and straight in front on oval-shaped feet and firm, muscular hindquarters. Goes so well on the go around with excellent carriage and uses himself at all times. Excellent coat. CC & Best Veteran.

1. Wheeler’s Knytshall Thistle Ink It Up Koromandel. 12 mth old black who presented a lovely balanced outline with nicely arched neck of moderate length, firm level back, good depth to chest, ribbing extends well back, short in the couplings and curled tail set on high. Wedge-shaped head with ears set on well, dark eyes, tapering muzzle and scissor bite. Soundly constructed all through, standing true in front on excellent feet and with very nice forechest for age and firm in hindquarters. She never stopped showing and went so well on the go around with characteristic light action of the breed. Good quality coat. RCC.

2. Irvine’s Tapui Herja at Blackcombe. Wheaten of 12 mths who was close up to the winner here. She also pleased in outline with medium length of neck, level topline, excellent ribbing for age, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Pleasing angulation front and rear and elbows close to the chest. Feet not quite as good as winner and nails need attention. Feminine headpiece with breadth to skull, ears set on well, eyes of good colour, scissor bite and very nice pigmentation. Gaiting freely on the go around.

3. Patrick & Ashman’s Tapui Herborg

PGB (1,0)

1. Patrick & Ashman’s Tapui Herborg. This 12 mth old wheaten placed 3rd in the previous class. She has the best of temperaments and has lots to like but she needs more time to develop. Pleasing outline with moderate length of neck, firm topline, ribbed well back, nice short loin and tail set on high. Head of pleasing proportions with feminine expression; very good eye and ear, tapering muzzle of medium length and scissor bite. She needs to fill out in front which will hopefully come with time. Pleasing angles and went well enough on the down and back.

OB (2,0)
