1. Pearce & Hann’s Ch Rakuchin Kenji Na. 11 yr old black/white who I have met before and he still appealed today. He presents a compact outline with neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, pleasing rib, nice short loin and profusely feathered tail set on high and of excellent carriage. Masculine headpiece with moderately broad skull, expressive eyes set well apart and showing characteristic white in inner corners, short muzzle with good cushioning and well open nostrils. Soundly constructed all through and he stands on correct feet and has width of chest. Moving freely on the down and back and opened up well on the go around. Good quality coat. Just slowing up towards the end but a more than worthy Best Veteran.

1. Crane’s Cranvarl's Back In Black. Two quite different pups challenged in this class with this black/white of 8 mths coming out on top and I thought him most promising. He pleased for type, is nice and compact and was good to go over. Moderate length to neck, level back, ribbing developing well, short in the couplings and tail set on high. Attractive head with correct breadth of skull, expressive eyes of good size and set, muzzle short and of good width with cushioning and good nostrils. He stands well in front on correct hare feet and moved out freely with good carriage, using himself at all times and was very well handled here. Best Puppy.
2. Flynn’s Sharlarna Rumour Has It at Linjato. 7 mth old red/white who is out of a smaller mould than the winner, very much a baby and needs more time. He has a neck of correct length, nice short back, ribcage of good length, short loin and tail set on high but right now is a tad ‘bum high’. Pleasing headpiece with good skull, super expressive eyes, ears set on well, good width to muzzle, well open nostrils and excellent pigmentation. When gaiting, he went well when viewed in profile and is nice and firm in the rear but winner had the edge coming towards.

1. McFarlane’s Denise Avenue of Roses (Imp Pol). 10 mth old red/white who is absolutely full of it such is his joy for life! Moderate length of neck, firm through the topline but he could be more compact, ribbing still to develop and well feathered tail set on nice and high. He has a pleasing skull, ears set on high, expressive eyes which are placed well apart and showing white in inner corners as desired and very good nostrils but more length of muzzle than preferred. Well constructed both front and rear and he stands straight in front on correct feet. Gaiting freely on the down and back and also went well on the go around. Lovely rich red.
