1. Craig’s Hawksflight Wrap It Up*. 2 yr old who pleased for type and presented a balanced outline. Excellent neck, firm in topline, pleasing rib, nice short loin and tail good for set and carriage. Quality headpiece with correct proportions and planes, expressive obliquely placed eyes, ears set on high, lean through the cheeks and correct dentition. He stands on good feet but would like a tad more breadth in front and this reflects when coming towards, however he is true when going away and moves out well in profile with characteristic brisk action. Well handled. Reserve Best Dog.

1. Maclellan’s Ch Debruix Black Rooster**. Two very different dogs challenged in this class with the nod going to this mature 5 yr old. All male, he appealed for overall type and was good hands on. Balanced in outline with muscular neck of correct length, short firm back, good depth to brisket, short in the couplings and tail of correct carriage. Carrying strong bone, he is moderately angulated both ends and stands true in front on excellent feet. Well proportioned head with parallel planes, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on high and lean cheeks. Gaiting briskly with good carriage. Best Dog.

2. Hall’s Shai Du Pre De La Sommerau at Vonandraste (Imp Fra). 4 yr old with a super temperament. He also presented a pleasing outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to give balance, short straight back, firm muscular loin and tail of correct set and carriage. Head of good proportions, obliquely placed eyes, ears set on high, good planes and lean cheeks. He stands well naturally and has good feet. Could just have opened up a tad more on the go around. Good texture to coat.

1. Donaldson’s Luavjan's Moulin Rouge (Imp Ita). Promising pup of 11 mths. Feminine all through, she presented a nicely balanced outline with correct length of neck, nice short back but topline to firm, ribbing carried well back, short loin, slight slope to croup and tail good for set and carriage. Pleasing head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, nice dark eyes, ears set on well, lean through the cheeks and excellent dentition. Moderate angulation front and rear and she stands well in front and has excellent feet. Pleasing action all through and went particularly well when viewed in profile. Reserve Best Bitch and Best Puppy.

1. Lester, Mackie & Preddy’s Domburg Hawksflight Love Me Back. 13 mth old bitch who I thought was something special, even though she is yet fully mature. I thought her an excellent type, so very well balanced and she was so good hands on. She presented such a good outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to give balance, short firm back, good depth to chest, super ribbing, short well-muscled loin and tail good for set and carriage. First class head and expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, parallel planes, the best of eyes and ears, lean cheeks, good underjaw and dentition. Soundly constructed all through and she is quite something when gaiting, true on the down and back and light, brisk profile action with excellent carriage. Best Bitch & BOB.
