MPD (4,0)

1. Rooney & Holland-Smith’s Starceylon Nick Rockett. 6 mth old fawn who comfortably won this class for me. Confident youngster who makes the most of himself at all times. Compact with moderate length of neck, firm level back, good length to ribcage and sickle tail set on high. Most appealing head and expression with well rounded skull, large round eyes which are placed well apart, ears good for both size and set, correct stop, lean through the cheeks and good dentition. He stands well naturally on excellent feet and has width behind. Moving freely and with good carriage. Best Puppy.

2. Hicks’ Legado De Lagos Back to Black at Casiatodo (Imp Esp). 6 mth old black/tan. Promising pup but needs more time. Medium length of neck which is slightly arched, topline still to settle, ribbing carried well back and sickle tail which is set on well. Very nice head and expression; well rounded skull, defined stop, excellent eye and ear, moderately short muzzle and lean cheeks. Standing well both front and rear and moving true on the down and back.

3. Skinner’s Davixity Ay Papi at Mujerosa

PD (3,2)

1. Huntley’s Jahneemahs Stay Tuned. 9 mth old fawn out of a bigger mould but a balanced pup. Excellent neck, firm through the topline, pleasing rib development for age and sickle tail set on high. Masculine head with well rounded skull, dark expressive eyes of correct size and placement, large flaring ears, muzzle of correct length to balance and lean cheeks. He stands on good feet but forelegs could be straighter. Moves out briskly on the go around with good carriage and liked his rear action too.

JD (4,0)

1. Taylor’s Arkoschi Don't Stop Me Now. 13 mth old blue fawn who was a standout in this class and a quality lad all through. I thought him of excellent type and he presented a super outline. Correct length of neck to give balance, firm level back, deep in brisket, good length to ribcage and ribbing well sprung and sickle tail set on high and tail furry and flattish in appearance, a feature missing in so many today. Attractive head and expression; well rounded skull, correct stop, good eye and ear, lean cheeks and moderately short, slightly pointed muzzle. I liked his angles front and rear and he stands well naturally on very good feet. Moving briskly with confident carriage, showing himself off to advantage and certainly cannot be overlooked. Very well handled to take the CC & BOB today.

2. Skinner’s Davixity Ay Papi at Mujerosa. 8 mth old fawn who is very raw right now and therefore needs more time. He was placed second here on soundness and overall outline. Medium length of neck which flows smoothly into well laid shoulders, firm topline, ribbing still to develop, sickle tail set on high but a tad more length to loin. Pleasing head and expression; nicely rounded skull, well defined stop, excellent eye and ear and lean through the cheeks. He stands on correct feet for the breed and moved well all through, much better here than in the MP class, having had time to settle.

3. Anderson’s Diamonchi Italian Man

YD (10,2)

1. Magri’s Monicachi Money Man at Rozamie. I liked the first 3 in this class, although all quite different to each other. This 12 mth old fawn came out on top. A balanced boy with scope; excellent neck, firm in topline, good length to ribcage and sickle tail set on nice and high. Quality head with saucy expression; correct skull, well defined stop, super eyes of correct placement, large flaring ears, lean cheeks and slightly pointed muzzle of correct length to balance. He has good angulation both ends and stands nice and straight in front on correct feet for the breed. Excellent profile action and confident carriage.

2. Hicks’ Xmas Dancer De Petit Roi Mojito at Casiatodo (Imp Deu). 22 mth old fawn sable who is brimming over with attitude. He presented a nicely balanced outline with slightly arched neck of medium length, firm level back, good depth to chest, well sprung ribs and furred tail good for set and carriage. Well rounded skull, well defined stop, large round eyes which are placed well apart, ears pleased for size and set and lean cheeks but just a tad shorter in the muzzle. Soundly constructed front and rear, straight forelegs, very good feet and pleasing forechest. Characteristic brisk action and clean when coming and going.

3. Gentle’s Arkoschi Star Gazer

PGD (5,1)

1. Huntley & Fleming’s Jahneemahs That's All Folks with Brogansian TAF. A rather varied class which saw this 9 mth old cream take the top spot. A scopey pup with slightly arched neck, topline good when hands on, pleasing rib development and super tail for set and carriage. Balanced headpiece with well rounded skull, good stop, expressive round eyes, large flaring ears, lean cheeks and excellent dentition. Very good front assembly, stands true on good feet and pleasing hindquarters too. Gaiting cleanly on the down and back and opens up well in profile.

2. Shakespeare’s Paulwilchi Poliver Twist. 2 yr old black/tan who was well handled here. He presented a pleasing outline with correct length of neck to balance, level back, ribcage of good length and tail good for set and carriage. Nicely rounded skull, large expressive eyes, ears pleased for size and set and lean cheeks but muzzle somewhat shorter than that of winner. He stands nice and straight in front and has correct feet. On the move he went pretty well on the go around, is true coming towards but not quite hind action of 1.

3. Smith’s Chibull Micky Mouse at Lozek

LD (4,0)

1. Fothergill’s Diamonchi Italian Stallion. 15 mth old white dog who easily took first place here for me. Absolutely full of himself, he appealed for type, presented a pleasing outline and was so good hands on. Medium length of neck, firm level back, deep in brisket, ribbing carried well back and sickle tail set on high. Masculine headpiece with well rounded skull, large flaring ears, super expressive eyes which are placed well apart, lean cheeks and very good pigmentation. I liked his angulation both front and rear and he stands on excellent feet. Goes so well when viewed in profile and pretty good on the down and back.

2. Halls’ Jorazan Roody Red Sox JW. 3 yr old fawn who also has lots to like but not quite outline of winner. Neck of moderate length, ribbing extending well back, good through the couplings and excellent tail but could do with a tad more length to forelegs. He stands on good feet but hasn’t quite the turn of stifle as 1. Balanced head with good skull, expressive round eyes, large ears of good set, definite stop and lean cheeks. Moves out pretty well on the go around but winner just went that bit better.

3. Skinner’s Davixity Ay Papi at Mujerosa

OD (7,1)

1. Halls’ Ch Jorazan Quincy Quirky Sox JW. 3 yr old fawn who appealed for type and presented a nicely balanced outline. Excellent neck, firm through the topline, good depth to brisket, well sprung ribs with ribcage of good length and sickle tail set on nice and high. I thought he had the best head and expression in the class; well rounded skull, defined stop, dark round eyes of good size and placed well apart, large flaring ears, lean through the cheeks, slightly pointed muzzle which is moderately short and good dentition. Good angles front and rear and when gaiting he moves out briskly, is clean on the down and back and uses himself as he goes. Well handled to take the RCC.

2. Hornby & Kruichkova’s Am Gch/Multi Ch Superiority Complex S Lipetskih Ozer. 5 yr old fawn/white who couldn’t be more different to the winner, however he too has much to like. Presenting a balanced compact outline with slightly arched neck of moderate length, level back, well sprung ribs and nice and deep in brisket, firm loin and furred sickle tail which is set on well. Masculine head with well rounded skull, good stop, large round eyes of good colour, ears pleased for size and set and lean cheeks but would like a touch more length to muzzle. Soundly constructed all through and stands nice and straight in front on good feet. Goes like a bomb when gaiting, full of his own importance and sound both fore and aft.

3. Stading’s Stadmeyer Dashing Dexter JW

SBD (1,0)

1. Wright’s Monicachi Splash The Cash for Angique. 12 mth old fawn/white. Neck of correct length, firm level topline, good length to ribcage and pretty good tail for set and carriage. Pleasing headpiece with nicely rounded skull, very good ears for size and set, dark expressive eyes which are placed well apart and slightly pointed muzzle. He stands nice and straight in front on correct feet and has a good turn of stifle. When gaiting, he has a good length of stride, is firm when going away but could be cleaner coming towards.

MPB (4,1)

1. Hicks’ Legado De Lagos Microsoft at Casiatodo (Imp Esp). Some quite different pups competed in this class with this 6 mth old fawn/white taking first place. Balanced girl who was good hands with medium length of neck which is slightly arched, pretty good in topline, ribbing carried well back, firm loin and sickle tail set on well. Feminine head with very good skull, expressive round eyes of good size and placement, flaring ears, defined stop and excellent bite but wouldn’t want muzzle any shorter. She is soundly built all through and stands just right in front. Best Puppy Bitch.

2. Corbett’s Starceylon Empress by Mandistarz. 6 mth old fawn who also has plenty to like but a ‘scopier’ girl than the winner. Pleasing neck, firm through the topline, ribbed well back and ribbing developing well for age, good couplings and tail set on high and of correct carriage. Attractive head with feminine expression; well rounded skull, good eye and ear, well defined stop, lean cheeks and slightly pointed muzzle but bite difficult to fully assess. She too is well constructed and she stands true naturally and didn’t disappoint when gaiting.

3. Holmes’ Cazants Boadicea

PB (5,1)

1. Magri’s Misty Meadow's Jenny Kim Rozamie (imp). 11 mth old fawn who very much appealed. She pleased for type and presented a nicely balanced outline with slightly arched neck, level back, good length to ribcage, firm loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with a super expression; good skull, well defined stop, round eyes of good size, ears pleased for size and set and slightly pointed muzzle of correct length to balance. She can stand a little untidy in front but this doesn’t reflect when gaiting and she moved out briskly and makes the most of herself. Unfortunately later became unsettled and wasn’t at all happy in the challenge.

2. Hicks’ Legado De Lagos Ice Ice Baby at Casiatodo (Imp Esp). 6 mth old parti-colour who is quite different to the winner. Soundly built youngster who pleased for outline with neck of correct length to give balance, pretty good topline, ribbing carried well back, short in the couplings and sickle tail set on well. Pleasing head which is full of femininity’ good skull, expressive dark round eyes of good size, large flaring ears, defined stop, lean cheeks and slightly pointed muzzle. She has good angulation front and rear and moved freely and in typical brisk fashion. Excellent temperament.

3. Hobbs’ Charonchi Miss Goldfire with Aristodemos

JB (6,0)

1. Fothergill’s Diamonchi La Dolcie Vita. Somewhat varied class which saw this 15 mth old cream win with ease. She pleased for overall type and presented a well balanced outline. Medium length of neck which is slightly arched, level backline, ribs well sprung and good length to ribcage, firm loin and furred tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine head with well rounded skull, good stop, dark round eyes which are placed well apart, large ears of good set, lean cheeks and moderately short muzzle. I liked her angles both front and rear and she stands on very good feet and also pleased for forechest. Excellent profile action and self carriage.

2. Barker’s Baralicia Mini Maestro. 12 mth old fawn sable who also pleased for type but she has a touch more length and therefore 1 scored here for overall balance. She has an excellent neck, is firm in topline, well sprung in ribbing and correct tail for set and carriage. Attractive head with feminine expression; good skull, very nice eye and ear, well defined stop and lean through the cheeks. She stands true in front and has excellent feet and when gaiting, she moves freely but winner had the edge on the go around.

3. Ginger’s Jodeschi Glamour Puss

YB (4,2)

1. Hunt’s Moltobello Miss Moonstone. Just two present in this class on the day and both with so much to like. This 16 mth old fawn came out on top. Feminine throughout and presenting a lovely outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, firm in topline, ribbed well back, good couplings and sickle tail set on high. Most appealing head and expression; well rounded skull, defined stop, super eye and ear, lean cheeks, slightly pointed muzzle which is moderately short as desired and good dentition. Soundly constructed both ends and she stands on good feet. On the move, she impressed on the go around, has excellent carriage and with an abundance of attitude. RCC.

2. Holmes’ Bondor Boujee. 15 mth gold/white who pleased for type and balance and was well handled here. Very good neck, level back, good depth to chest, ribbing well sprung, firm loin but with a touch more length to that of winner and tail set on high and of good carriage. Well rounded skull, good stop, large eyes, ears correct for size and set, lean through the cheeks and correct muzzle. Well laid shoulders, standing on correct feet for the breed and firm rear with good turn of stifle. When gaiting, she is true when going away and went pretty well on the go around but couldn’t quite match overall action of 1.

PGB (3,0)

1. Halls’ Jorazan Talia Toffifi Sox. 13 mth old fawn who pleased for type and is soundly built both ends. Medium length of neck which is slightly arched, ribbing carried well back, topline rising towards rear somewhat but sickle tail set on nice and high. Feminine headpiece with excellent skull, well defined stop, eyes good for size and colour and placed well apart, large flaring ears, lean cheeks and correct length of muzzle which is slightly pointed. She stands nice and straight in front on good feet and didn’t let herself down when gaiting.

2. Wright’s Angique Spirit of The Moon. Scopey 5 yr old fawn who makes the most of herself at all times and with lots to like. Good neck, excellent topline, good depth to chest, well sprung ribs with ribbing carried well back and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Well rounded skull, correct stop, dark round eyes which are placed well apart, large ears and slightly pointed muzzle. Standing well naturally in front on good feet and when gaiting, she moves out well on the go around with confident carriage, pleased when coming towards but somewhat closer behind.

3. Withheld

LB (5,2)

1. Hunt’s Moltobello Game of Thrones. 16 mth old cream who won this class comfortably for me. Totally feminine, she presents a very good outline with slightly arched neck of correct length, firm level back, excellent ribbing, well coupled and sickle tail set on high. Attractive head with feminine expression; excellent skull, well defined stop, large round eyes of correct placement in the skull, ears pleased for size and set, lean cheeks, correct dentition and slightly pointed muzzle of correct length to give balance to the head. Soundly built both front and rear and she stands on good feet. Moving freely on the down and back and using herself as she goes.

2. Steele’s Darnleys Happy Feet. 20 mth old fawn who also presented a pleasing outline with medium length of neck, level topline, good depth to brisket, ribbed well back and sickle tail set on high. Feminine headpiece with good skull, defined stop and pleasing eye and ear but quite different in overall expression to winner with my preference going to 1. She has pleasing angulation front and rear and stands on good feet but when gaiting she is a touch wider coming towards and a little closer in the rear, however she went pretty well when viewed in profile.

3. Holmes’ Cazants Dame Gothal

OB (8,1)

1. Fothergill’s Ch Diamonchi Miss Sparkel JW. 2 yr old cream who greatly appealed for type and was so good hands on. Compact outline with slightly arched neck, firm through the topline, good depth to brisket, first class ribbing, short in the couplings and furred sickle tail set on nice and high. Quality headpiece with excellent skull, well defined stop, dark expressive eyes of good size and correct placement in the skull, large flaring ears, lean cheeks and slightly pointed muzzle which is moderately short as desired; all these features combining to produce the characteristic saucy expression. I liked her angles front and rear and she stands nice and straight in front on excellent feet. On the move, she gaited freely to and fro and went well on the go around too. When it came to the challenge she wasn’t as co-operative for her handler but I had seen enough and for me she was deserving of the CC on the day.

2. Fothergill’s Ch Diamonchi Miss Beautiful JW. 2 yr old gold who turned out to be the litter sister to the class winner and not surprising as they are so similar in many ways. This girl also pleased in outline with medium length of neck, level back, brisket reaching the elbows, well sprung ribs, firm loin and furred sickle tail set on well. Feminine head with well rounded skull, distinct stop, excellent eye and ear, lean through the cheeks and correct length of muzzle to give balance. Shoulders well laid and standing nice straight in front on correct feet for the breed but not quite hind angulation of winner. When gaiting she moves in typical brisk fashion for the breed and uses herself fully, is true coming at you but a tad closer behind.

3. Huntley’s Ch Jahneemahs Just The Ticket

VB (2,0)

1. Anderson’s Lumanatii's The Wonder of You. Fawn coming up to 9 yrs who I thought a lovely type and presenting a nicely balanced outline. Slightly arched neck, firm level back, well sprung ribs with ribbing carried well back and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Attractive headpiece with good skull, well defined stop, dark round eyes which are placed well apart, excellent ears, lean cheeks and slightly pointed muzzle of correct length. Pleasing angles front and rear and she has excellent feet, however she stands somewhat wide in front and this reflects when gaiting. When viewed in profile, she moves briskly with good carriage. Best Veteran.

2. Wilcox’s Bramerita Talulah Truffle. Approaching 8 yrs this fawn has a touch more length of back than the winner but she has an excellent neck, firm level topline, pleasing rib and sickle tail set on nice and high. Well rounded skull, dark eyes of good size and correct placement in the skull, large ears, distinct stop, lean cheeks and slightly pointed muzzle but overall I preferred expression of 1. She stands well naturally in front on correct feet and moved out pretty well on the go around.
