1. Hickson’s Ch Kichigai's Only The Lonley VW. 10 yr old who stood out for me here, presented in super coat and condition and certainly looks nowhere near his age. Compact in outline with arched neck of correct length to balance, short firm back, deep brisket, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Masculine headpiece of good proportions, expressive almond-shaped eyes, ears of correct size and placement on the skull, dark muzzle and scissor bite. He stands true in front and has good angles both ends. Gaiting briskly with good carriage, never stops showing and so very well handled. Offstanding coat of good texture. Best Veteran and pleased to see he later took Veteran Group 3.
2. Miles & Cullen’s Ch Rossvale's Legacy for Lekkerbek. This 12 yr old is all male and another who pleased for balance and outline. Moderately long neck, firm topline, good depth to chest, well sprung ribs, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Pleasing head with good skull to muzzle proportions, ears set on well and of correct shape, dark eyes although a little rounder which I suspect is due to his advancing years, desired ‘spectacles’ and dark muzzle. He stands true in front and has excellent feet. Moving true on the down and back and in typical brisk fashion. Good quality coat. Just beginning to lose muscle-tone.
3. Rose’s Ch Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees

1. Bennett’s Zandvoort Mr Sunshine. 12 mth old who won this class on overall type and construction. He pleased for size and presented such a good outline with muscular, arched neck, short back with firm topline, ribbing well sprung and of good length, short loin and curled tail set on high. Head of correct proportions with super expression; flat skull, definite stop, excellent eye and ear and dark muzzle. Pleasing angulation front and rear and he stands on very good feet. Correct brisket action and nice and true when coming towards. Offstanding coat of good texture and colour.
2. Murray’s Flatmeer Flauschig. 7 mth old who is very different to the winner and not in full coat. Correct length of neck, firm topline, rib developing well for age, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Head of good proportions but skull still to fully develop, eyes of good colour but not quite shape of those of winner, ears set on well, dark muzzle and correct dentition. Moderately angulated front and rear and standing on nice round feet. Moving pretty well on the go around but winner had the edge coming towards.

1. Rose’s Amikirs Uncle Fester. 10 mth old who wasn’t entirely relaxed on the day and was proving a challenge for his handler but he was good hands on. Masculine throughout, he carries good bone and presented a nice compact outline. Correct length of neck to balance, short level back, deep through the brisket, ribbing developing well, firm loin and high set tail which is tightly curled over the back. Balanced headpiece with flat skull, correct ears when using them, dark expressive eyes, dark muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angles front and rear and stands nice and straight in front on very good feet. Moving pretty well all through. Best Puppy Dog.

1. Brunt’s Ch Divnyi Drug Dar (Imp Rus). Super class which was headed by 4 Champions. This mature 6 yr old came out on top and what a terrific lad he is. Excelling for type, good for size, presenting a square compact outline and a delight to get hands on. Arched neck, firm through the topline, first class ribbing, deep brisket, short in the couplings, good croup and curled tail set on high. Quality head with flat skull, definite stop, dark muzzle proportionate in length to that of skull, excellent eye and ear, characteristic ‘spectacles’ and scissor bite. Soundly constructed all through, standing true in front on cat-like feet and firm muscular hindquarters. Brisk, true action and carrying himself with confidence. Excellent coat and colour and so very well handled. CC & BOB and pleased to see he later made the group shortlist.
2. Harris’ Ch Amikirs Lover Boy for Watchkees. 5 yr old who also appealed, correct for type and another who was good to go over. Muscular neck of correct length, firm level back, excellent rib, short loin and tail set on high but not quite as compact as winner which was the deciding factor when placing them for me. Super head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, almond-shaped eyes which are nice and dark and obliquely set, correct ears for size and placement on the skull, dark muzzle and correct dentition. Another who is well built both ends, elbows close to the body, straight forelegs, tight round feet and firm well-muscled hindquarters. On the move, he is accurate on the down and back and uses himself as he goes. Harsh, offstanding coat and correct colour. RCC.
3. Miles, Dean & Cullen’s Ch Skyline's Outlander at Lekkerbek (imp Usa)

1. Passmore’s Torrikees You Wear It Well. I really liked the first two in this class and this 9 mth old was my choice for the top spot. She presented such a good outline with arched neck of correct length, short firm back, ribbing extends well back and developing just as it should for age, lovely short loin and curled tail set on high. Feminine headpiece which is still to fully develop; good skull to muzzle proportions, super expressive eyes, characteristic ‘spectacles’, defined stop and scissor bite. Well built both front and rear and she stands on very good feet. Gaiting freely with typical brisk action. Excellent coat. Best Puppy.
2. Ring’s Neradmik Tinseltown at Baleissa. Coming up to 9 mths, this girl is another quality youngster and I thought an excellent type. Totally balanced with moderately long neck which is nicely arched, firm topline, very good rib, short in the couplings and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Super headed pup with the best of expressions; flat skull, excellent eye and ear and dark muzzle proportionate in length to that of skull. On the move she was true on the down and back and although goes well in profile, winner just had the edge. Super coat and colour.
3. Craig’s Flatmeer Fleur's Delay

1. Brunt’s Zandvoort Moonlight. Three nice bitches competed in this class, with this 2 yr old coming out on top. Out of a slightly smaller mould although not too small, she appealed for overall type, is totally feminine, presented a super compact outline and showed herself off to the max. Moderately long neck which is nicely arched, short back with firm topline, super ribbing, deep brisket, short muscular loin and tail set on high and curled over the back. I thought her head and expression quite something special; good skull to muzzle proportions, definite stop, correct ears for size, shape and set, almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely set and scissor bite. Soundly constructed all through, standing on cat-like feet and gaiting briskly. Offstanding coat and correct colouration. CC.
2. Brunt’s Zandvoort Grace's Secret. This 2 yr old scored for size and is another so well balanced and she was good hands on too. Muscular, arched neck, short back, excellent ribbing, firm loin, correct croup and curled tail set on high. Well proportioned head with correct skull, defined stop, expressive almond-shaped eyes, ears set well on, dark muzzle and scissor bite but for me, winner had the edge in overall expression. She is well built both front and rear, standing nice and straight in front on excellent feet and certainly didn’t let herself down on the move. Excellent coat. Very well handled.
3. Marfleet’s Flatmeer Fleur's Krystal

1. Ring’s Ch Neradmik Tantrums N Tiaras. 4 yr old who excelled for type, presented a compact outline and was so good to go over. Neck of correct length to balance, short back, ribs well sprung and brisket reaching the elbows, short muscular loin and tightly curled tail set on high. Most attractive head and expression with flat skull, ivy-leaf shaped ears which are correct for size and set, the very best of eyes, characteristic ‘spectacles’, dark muzzle and scissor bite. She carries good bone and has pleasing angulation both front and rear, stands true and has excellent feet. On the go around she moved out briskly with excellent self carriage and is accurate when coming towards. Offstanding coat of good texture and she also pleased for colour. RCC.
2. McKean’s Ch Kichigai It Takes Two at Yawren. 6 yr old who also has so much to like and was so well handled here. She pleased for overall type and is feminine throughout. Muscular neck which is of sufficient length, short firm back, well sprung ribs with ribbing carried well back, deep brisket, short in the couplings and tail correct for both set and carriage. Head of equal proportions, a little more stop than the winner, ears well set on, almond-shaped eyes of good colour and obliquely set, desired ‘spectacles’, dark muzzle and correct dentition. Standing on good feet, when gaiting she moved true coming and going and has the typical brisk action of the breed. Excellent coat and colour.
