1. Crosier’s Skaijaks Last N’limitless. 13 mth old who pleased for overall type and carries good bone. Muscular neck of moderate length, topline to firm a tad, correct spring of rib and breadth to loin. Masculine head with good proportions, expressive oval-shaped eyes, scissor bite and good pigmentation. Good angles front and rear, elbows held close to the sides and pleasing forechest for age. On the move, he goes so well when viewed in profile and was pretty good on the down and back. Good coat. Well handled.

1. La Frenais’ Skaijak’s Kind N’kingpin of Ponradosc. 2 yr old who would benefit from more socialisation. I thought him a good type and he presented a pleasing outline with neck of correct length to balance and level back but he’s somewhat longer in loin. Well proportioned head with masculine expression, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on moderately high and correct dentition. Well boned with good angulation both ends. Moves well on the go around but difficult to fully assess front action. Good coat.

OD (3,1)

1. Warwick & Wilkins’ Ch Mybeards Cococabana. Two quite different dogs challenged in the class. The nod went to this 4 yr old who was shown in tip top condition and was very well handled. He was so good hands on and he presented a lovely balanced outline with neck of medium length, firm level back, excellent ribbing and broad muscular loin. Quality head and expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, furrow present as desired and excelling for eye and ear, dentition and pigmentation. Soundly constructed and stands true in front and well developed in forechest. Impressive action on the go around and so good coming towards. CC.

2. Hardie’s Ch Mybeards Huckleberry. This 6 yr old is all male and out of a larger mould than the winner. He appealed for overall type and is well off for bone. Strong, muscular neck, topline not quite that of winner, correct ribbing, deep brisket and broad, well-muscled loin. Head of good proportions, moderate breadth to skull, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, well defined stop and correct dentition. Shoulders well laid, straight forelegs and firm hindquarters with good turn of stifle. When gaiting, he went so well on the go around and although straight in front there is more width there. Good texture to coat. Super temperament. RCC.

1. Naylor’s Skaijaks Last N'luksurious. This 13 mth old very much appealed and she was so good to go over. Feminine throughout, she pleased for outline with an excellent neck, firm level topline, ribbing developing as it should and good breadth to her muscular loin. Nicely proportioned head with expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on just right, well defined stop and scissor bite. Good angulation front and rear and she stands nice and straight in front with good forechest. When gaiting, she moved soundly all through and carries herself so well. Good quality coat. RCC.

1. La Frenais’ Skaijak’s Just N’joyous of Ponradosc. 4 yr old who pleased for overall type. Muscular neck, firm in topline but she has a tad more length than the ideal, good depth to brisket and muscular loin but again with more length. Feminine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, furrow evident, super expressive eyes, ears set on well and correct scissor bite. She moved pretty well all through but could carry herself better. Good texture to coat.

1. Crosier’s Skaijaks Kind N ‘klassic. 2 yr old who has lots to like and was good hands on. She presented a nicely balanced outline with super neck, firm level back, correct ribbing, muscular loin of breadth and slight slope to croup. Pleasing head and expression with correct proportions, frontal furrow, dark oval-shaped eyes and well defined stop. Nice layback of shoulder, stands true in front with good forechest and pleasing hind angulation. Moved so well on the go around and accurate when coming towards. Good coat.

OB (2,0)

1. Mottram’s Mybeards Starshine. I thought this 21 mth old quite outstanding and she really is right out of the top drawer. Excelling for type, she was a delight to go over and made the most of herself at all times. Muscular neck of correct length to give balance, firm through the topline, good depth to chest, ribbing just right, broad well-muscled loin and correct croup. Feminine headpiece with the best of expressions; good skull to muzzle proportions, furrow apparent, dark oval-shaped eyes, ears set on as they should be and scissor bite. Impressive construction with super front assembly and equally good hindquarters. Quite something on the down and back and also pleased on the go around. CC & BOB.

2. Naylor’s Ch Skaijaks Ickle N'ilustrius. 4 yr old who is full of type, carries good bone and presented a well balanced and cobby outline. Medium length of neck which is well-muscled, firm level back, brisket of good depth and breadth to loin. Quality head with super expression; moderate breath to skull which is proportionate in length to that of muzzle, oval-shaped eyes of good colour and scissor bite. Muscular hindquarters with good bend of stifle and she stands well naturally. When gaiting, she went well when going away but front action let her down. Good quality coat.
