Golden Retriever (Bitches)

It was a great pleasure to judge at this friendly well-run show. Despite being a long day for everyone, the tireless, cheerful & super-efficient stewards, Martin Greenwood & Jane Booth, helped make my day special. I was delighted with the high entry and pleased to have the opportunity to go over many lovely bitches despite the small issue that my hands were getting filthy in class after class. In my 20+ years of judging I’ve not known this before, & I do prefer the natural beauty of a clean, correct, double coat.

Moved sound & true in all directions.

2. Brown LOUELLABROOK LOVE STAR

Cream, larger framed than 1, beautiful head, well set neck of good reach, pleasing forehand construction, good ribcage, level topline, excellent bone, at this stage needs to strengthen in rear, particularly in her hock joints where she can sink a little, but still catches the eye on the go-around.
