It was an absolute honour to be asked by the Committee to be the replacement judge for what should have been Ken Sinclair’s appointment. For that reason, this day will always hold a special place in heart. Thank you.
I had a super day; thanks to my two stewards, and of course to all the exhibitors for their entries. It was lovely atmosphere in and around the ring and great to have a Club Show running side by side.
We had a lovely large ring which OK the TT is not a large breed, but I love to watch them on the move, and this allowed for that. I thought the overall quality of the dogs was really good, and I always get excited to see youngster coming through. Today there were some super dogs in the younger classes. My one watch out which was the same the last time I judged was in heads. I found too many to be lacking strength, with weak underjaws and incorrect balance of proportions.

1st:, Silgarhi Catch The Wind To Verony, (Mr Anthony GREEN, Mrs Veronica Mary & GREEN) Lots to like about this black and tan puppy, and his super, little bit cheeky character made me smile. He appealed for his balance, shape and presented in excellent condition. He held his shape on a free stack and on the move where he had excellent reach and drive. Well put together and pleasing to go over. Good proportions and shape to head with correct eye shape and colour. Body proportions and depth were excellent.
2nd: Silgarhi Colour My World, (WITHAM, Mrs Janet & PARKES, Mr Kristian) Slightly longer and narrower throughout than 1st. However, he was very pleasing to watch on the move, holding his head, topline and tail well with good front reach and rear drive for a youngster. Good head and eye shape and colour. Well bent stifles that were well muscled.

1st: Boshay Bootiful Momo, (HARRISON, Mrs S D) A cracking B/W puppy that appealed on the stand for his square outline and overall balance, and he didn’t disappoint to go over. Sturdy but not overdone, without any exaggeration. A lovely head of correct proportions, eye colour and shape. Neck of good length and strength. He has an excellent front assembly, well placed shoulder, straight front. Level topline and correct tail placement, held on the move too. Moved with ease but do think he could benefit from being let go a bit on the lead to really let him excel. Best Puppy Dog.

Liked his head for its shape, strength and proportions, correct black nose and good stop and teeth. He is well put together and is sturdy and in excellent muscular condition. 1st: Waterley Stand N Deliver For Yanlan Jw, (KEMP, Mrs Karen & KEMP, Mr Ian) Eye-catching black in the initial line up and best in the class for his overall square shape and balance. No exaggeration to him. He is lovely to go over with excellent confirmation from head to tail. Liked his head for its balance and shape, good strength to muzzle. Correct eye colour and shape. Good body proportions and depth. Well-muscled, and well angulated stifles. First-class presentation; coat and body condition. Moved with great reach and drive and held his shape and topline at all times.
2nd: Renvall Minter Wonderland, (VERNALL, Ms Aimee & VERNALL, Mrs Valerie) Very appealing square balanced shape to this b/w boy when he settles into himself. Pleasing to go over and well put together. Masculine head but not coarse or overdone with good stop, eye colour and shape. Handsome boy. Would like a bit more length to his neck but moves into a good front assembly and body proportions and strength. Moved out and back well just dropping his tail at times spoiling his shape.

PGD (7 Entries) Abs: 2 This was the hardest class to judge today, of mixed types.
1st: Araki Santana For Adnachmor, (TONGE, Ms J) For me this boy was the best for what I was looking for in the desired square shape and overall balance in outline. I would like a bit more of him throughout in body. He has a good stop and eye and expression but lacks strength and depth to his muzzle. He was presented in excellent coat condition. He has a good bend to his stifle and tail placement. He kept his shape on the move which was effortless.
2nd: Renvall's License To Dill For Regenka, (DU CROS, Mrs G) B/W larger framed male overall which impacted his shape and balance. However he had a pleasing head , moderate length of neck into a good front assembly with well-placed shoulders and straight front. He was deep enough in body. Well placed tail, carried well on the move and correct bend of stifles. Presented in good coat condition.

1st: Jalren Midnight Runner JW, (THURSTON, Mrs R) A very appealing, moderate gold and white of correct square shape, size and sturdiness. Nothing overdone about this boy. He totally filled my eye in the line-up and was a pleasure to go over. I loved his head which is masculine with excellent length of skull, correct proportions, super eye, stop and bite. Neck is of correct length and strength. His body shape and proportions are correct as expected from his overall balance. Level topline, short loin and excellent tail set. Full credit to his owner for the first-class presentation. Moved with good reach and drive, if being super critical would like a bit more enthusiasm on the move but very deserving of the RCC.
2nd: Gemaras Rocket Man, (PALMER, Mrs C A) Super compact, square black and white. Another presented in excellent condition and coat. His handler really did get the very best out of him on the stack on and the move. He excels on the move holding his shape, head and topline carriage with excellent reach and drive. Another good head with correct eye colour and shape. Body and ribbing were of correct shape and depth. Strong hindquarters with good bend to stifle.

His head is outstanding, all male but not overdone. Excellent shape and proportions, lovely dark eye and expression. Good strength and length to his muzzle and lovely black nose. Excellent length and muscular neck into well-placed shoulders, straight in front and good feet. Excellent body shape, with good spring of rib and depth. Topline is level with well-placed tail. Beautifully presented, and excellent coat presentation and condition. Her handler did an excellent job and another great partnership here, both having fun which is great to see and as it should be. She has a pretty head, dark eye and correct bite. She is straight in front with well-placed shoulders. Her topline is level with well set tail. Super balance and shape in outline to her which filled the eye on the move which was done with ease, using her front extension and hindquarters to drive. Pleasing front and rear assembly, correct body shape and proportions to go over. Best Veteran.

1st: Araki Dipsy Dreamlover, ( LAFFLING, Mrs E A) This is a little superstar, such presence, I could not take my eyes of her, and she is so me! She oozes personality which is what makes her a great show dog. She was free stood which showed her beautiful square shape and balance but think she would benefit from being hand stacked to show off her excellence even more. She is feminine but sturdy, has the most beautiful head, with excellent eye shape, colour and the most appealing expression, good strength to jaw and muzzle, and correct stop with a gorgeous black nose. She is a pleasure to go from head to tail, excellent construction. Then when she moves, it’s the icing on the cake, she just shows off every bit of her and her movement is free, effortless, she carries herself so well, head, tail and topline all carried correctly. An exciting puppy and a joy to award her Best Puppy.
2nd: Myrlea The London Look, (MARLEY, Ms G & THIRLWELL, Mr P) Lots to like about this promising puppy. Presented in excellent condition; coat and body. Of smaller frame to one but balanced and square. Feminine, pretty head with good shape and balance, dark eye and good shape. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Excellent feet. Compact body and of good balance. Short lion and level topline which she held well on the move with super head carriage. Just needs to tighten in front.

1st: Boshanti Rohanna At Kashi, (DYKES, Miss S) So much to like about this b/w girl, from her overall construction, size, square shape and balance to her super outgoing personality. Testing her handler’s patience at times I am sure, but I always say easier to reign it in than try to get it out of them. She is sturdy throughout and feminine, of high quality. A super head with good length of skull and correct balance from eye to nose and eye to occiput. Excellent pigmentation and strength to jaw and muzzle. Really pleasing to go over; excellent forequarters into a compact body with level topline and short loin. Well set tail. Well-muscled in her hindquarters with good angulation, into short hocks. Although a little exuberant on the move, her footfall was great using her front to reach and hindquarters to drive. This will only get better as she settles and her handler is confident to let her go a bit.
2nd: Barnstorm Kimik Royale Beautiful Girl By Dzine (Im(DAVIES, Mr Glenn & LEMOIGNAN, Miss P) Full of quality, of a smaller frame overall to 1st but balanced and excels in shape for her squareness. An ultra feminine B/W presented in excellent condition and expertly handled to get the very best out of her. A pretty head with good eye shape and colour and correct bite. She is not overdone in any way. She has moderate length to her neck into a super front assembly. Straight in front and well laid-back shoulders. Compact in body with correct ribbing. Level topline and short loin. She held herself and shape well on the move with great head carriage.

She has a compact, strong body with good depth and length of rib. Her hindquarters are in good muscle and with good angulation into short hocks. Her tail is well set on. She moved well, would just like a little more from her on the move.

1st: Kybo Santa Arizona At Quidditch, (HADLOW, Ms E) Stood out in this class. This G/W presents a beautiful overall outline on the stack for shape, balance and squareness. Nicely marked. She was in excellent coat. She has a feminine head of correct proportions, with correct eye shape and colour. Liked her length and muscular neck into excellent forequarters. Straight front into good feet. Her body is strong and compact with good depth but was carrying a little too much weight today. Level topline, excellent tail set. Desired bend to her stifle into short hocks. Moved well and soundly.
2nd: Pinrow Chequered Diva, (DAVIES, Mrs V) A B/W feminine girl with a pretty head and a very sweet, appealing expression. Lacking a bit of furnishings today to present the overall picture. However, she had a good square shape which you could see better on the move as she came together and carried herself well, as she had a tendency to drop her tail on the stack. Pleasing to go over with a level topline and adequate bend to her stifle.

1st: Shamisha Miss Aggi Panthus At Jufari, (FAIRCLOUGH, Mrs Julie) This incredibly smart feminine B/W appealed to me instantly in the line-up. She filled my eye for her shape, balance and beautiful overall outline and reaffirmed my initial appeal when I went over her and then on the move, wow. She moved with such ease, covering the ground with front reach and rear drive, and carried her head, topline and tail at all times. Her handler got the very best out of her on the move, using the space available to really show her off. She also has that resolute expression and a presence that demands your attention, saying look at me. She is so well put together from nose to tail with excellent forequarters, body shape and hindquarters. Res CC.
2nd: Waterley Dingdong Delishus, (DAVIES, Mr G) Similar in type to 1st; feminine, square and so well balanced. Top class coat presentation. Liked her head, pretty with a good eye shape and expression with a good stop. She has a good length of neck moving into well placed shoulders. Level topline and a compact strong body with correct depth and good ribbing. She was ins upper muscular condition to her hindquarters with excellent angulation. She was a little loose in front on the move but carried herself well.

She is so full of quality and is quite special. Her shape is just what you want, square, sturdy and balanced and a good size. No exaggeration anywhere. Credit to her owner for her first-class presentation and condition. She has a lovely head with correct balance, a good eye shape and colour. Her neck is of moderate length into excellent forequarters. Good bone throughout, her body is compact and strong with correct proportions and excellent depth of ribs. Her topline is level, short in loin and well set on tail. Everything just flows in her makeup, into excellent hindquarters which were well muscled and bent stifles. All this enabled her to own the ring in the challenges with her super movement, true reach in front and driving from behind whilst carrying herself and shape. My CC and BOB winner and thrilled to watch her win Group 4.
2nd: Palshar Glitter And Glitz At Remmus, (SUMMERS, Mrs D) I have done this girl well in the past and I still admire her many qualities. Excels in shape, a B/W square, strudy feminine girl who holds herself so well. A super head which is feminine with a lovely eye and expression. Good length of skull and correct stop and bite. Attractive length and strength to her neck. She has well laid shouders and a straight front. She is excellent in body proportions and balance but today was carrying too much weight which was a shame as this spoilt her to go over and on the move. A level topline, short in her lion and well angulated hindqauerters. She moved soundly.

1st: Incalux Shyne A Light On Nefertari, (JOHNSON, Mrs R A & JOHNSON MORRIS, MRS C L & MORRI) A pleasing square shape to this girl. Excellent presentation and in great coat. I would like a bit more of her overall but could not deny how pretty and feminine she is. An appealing head with correct bite and eye shape and colour. She has a good length of neck into a straight front. She has a good level topline which she held on the move. She moved soundly, needs to tighten a bit in the front but loved her style and head carriage on the move.
2nd: Waterley Match Maker For Incalux, (JOHNSON, Mrs R A & JOHNSON MORRIS, MRS C L & MORRI) A B/W of good size and appealing square shape to her. Handled really sympathetically to get the best out of her. She has a pretty head and good eye. She has a moderate length of neck into good forequarters and straight front. Level topline and good tail set which never dropped when stacked freely. She was sound on the move. A finished coat will complement the overall picture and presentation.
