I was delighted with my entry and the high quality of it. They were a pleasure to judge and I had some difficult decisions.

VETERAN DOG (2/2)

1: Thorne CH SCHIPDALE REBUS Smart cobby boy with excellent coat of correct texture, and showing the required coat features. Lovely head of good proportion of skull to muzzle, correct dark eye, good bite and well positioned neat ears on flattish skull. Short coupled & well set curled tail. Moves true fore & aft, with good profile movement. Super boy. BV

2: Massey RISTINE TWEEDLEDEE VW Another very nice gentleman in correct texture coat & good condition. Correct head with good well set ears, correct eye & bite. Neat feet and correct curled tail, well set. Cobby in build but a little longer in loin than winner and not as true in front & rear movement.

1: Wearing MIOFREY DAZZLING Smart youngster with excellent coat texture, although the coat features not as evident as could be, apart from at rear. Lovely head with correctly positioned neat ears, correct eye & good bite. Cobby build with correct tail, well set & good feet. Free moving in profile, however toes in front & rear.

LIMIT DOG (2/2)

1: Millard & McKenna TREDREAS BLACK JACK AVEC KARMORE Very nice dog who took my eye. Lovely head with correct eye, bite, skull/muzzle proportions and well set neat ears. Not quite the lay back of shoulder that I would have liked to see, but balanced front & rear. Short coupled cobby body with well set correct tail. Excellent coat of good texture, showing the required features. Balanced on the move, however his tendency to over extend behind when stacked, threw his topline and prevented him winning higher honours.

2: Hood DJANGO ALPHA NERO WITH ARATHORN This boy was unlucky to meet the winner today. Another cobby boy of lovely shape & size, with very nice head & expression. Correct eye, well set neat ears, correct bite. Tight curled tail. Good feet. Coat a little softer than winner, but possibly down to product? Correct coat features evident. Balanced standing & on move.

1: Cheatham & Cheatham CH SCHIPDALE A KIND OF MAGIC SHCEX Very smart cobby boy of correct shape and good bone. Lovely head & expression. Good bite, correct dark eye, well set neat ears. Short coupled body with super coat texture and correct coat features evident. Good tail set & carriage. Stylish outline, very sound & free moving. CC & BOB

2: Mclachlan & Morrison CH FULLMOON RISE FROM THE RUNES ( IMP USA) Very different type to winner but a great deal to like about him. Super head with correct muzzle proportions, good eye, correct bite, neat & well set ears. Correct feet. In profuse coat but it could be a bit harsher. Lovely construction front & rear. Cobby & short coupled. Stylish boy who is sound & free moving. I just preferred the more typical coat texture & features of winner. RCC

1: Finch RISTINE STARRY NIGHT AW(G) Very smart boy in excellent body condition. Balanced head with correct eye, ear set & bite. Good shape & size with correct tail set & carriage. Coat a little soft but shows typical features. Sound & free moving. Very nice dog.

1: Manners CH CHADBOWER NEVAEH LAHETTI VW Nice bitch of correct shape & size. Balanced head with correct eye, ears & bite. Cobby body but a little upright in shoulder & straight behind so not quite as free moving as ideal. Good coat texture.

2: Thorne CH MARDECKS SHIMMERING OASIS FOR SCHIPDALE (IMP CAN) Nice type bitch of correct shape & size. Lovely head with good eye & bite. Ears well set but could be neater. Closer coated than 1 but correct texture & shows required features. Would have preferred better angulation either end. Not as free moving as winner.

JUNIOR BITCH (2/1)

1: Donaldson, Donaldson & Donaldson ZORBALOO CHAVIVA NATANIA Very smart youngster in excellent condition. Pretty head with neat well positioned ears, correct eye & bite. Short coupled body, well set curled tail, neat feet. Close coated but showing required features. Coat could be harsher but may be down to product? Sound & balanced throughout. Could have a bit better layback of shoulder but overall this girl has a great deal to like about her. RCC

POST GRADUATE BITCH (3/2)

1: Manners & Scales ROOPEC KEEP UP WITH ME Short coupled young girl who had left some of her coat at home, but what was there was good texture and showed the required features. Feminine head with correct eye, bite and ears. Correct curled tail, well set. Well constructed fore & aft and sound and free moving. Looks a bit leggy at present but once coat comes back, she will look have more balance.

2: Massey MIOFREY MAGICAL WITH RISTINE Smart youngster with closer coat than winner, but with good texture. Balanced head with correct eye, ears, & bite. Good feet. Tail a little lower set and she was not as short coupled as winner. Moved steadily.

1: Manners & Scales ROOPEC JUST ONE MORE JW Very nice young bitch with excellent front construction and well put together behind. Lovely head & expression with correct eye, ears & bite. Correct coat texture, closer coated but with apparent features. Correct tail set & carriage. Sound & free moving. A lot to like. Close decision for RCC.

1: Philpott CH KOMARGO GOING FOR GOLD Super cobby cream bitch of correct shape & good size. Balanced head with correct eye, bite and well set neat ears. Good tail set & carriage. Correct feet. Excellent coat texture showing typical features. Short coupled body. Well constructed front & rear, sound & free moving. I liked her a lot. Close decision for BOB. CC

2: Daskalova CH DENCAS UNDER MY SKIN Very nice type girl but not as short coupled as winner. Correct head balance with good eye, bite and neat well set ears. Correct tail, well set & carried. Coat could have been harsher but showed required features. Well constructed, sound & moved well.
