SKC – 15th of May 2025 – AMERICAN COCKER SPANIEL

First of all I would like to thank the Scottish Kennel Club for inviting me to this spectacular show and the club is to be congratulated for the well-organized show and I really enjoyed my day and the lovely atmosphere. I would like to express a big thank you to the exhibitors for entering their dogs under me and for sportingly accepting my decisions. A big thank you to my ringsteward as well, guiding me through the day and everything went so smoothly.

1ST Clay´s Americlass Hollywood Parti

 6 months old young parti-colour lad, well rounded skull with good stop and alert expression, good length of muzzle, correct low set ears, could be a less throathy, long neck, enough sloping in topline, balanced angulations, good body for this age but could have a bit longer sternum, correct length in loin, correct tailset and carriage, straight frontassembly, lovely coat with correct texture, very good mover, covering the ground well.

1ST Harris, Mclachlan & Lynn´s Afterglow Dominion at Zarcrest

 Lovely parti-colour male with excellent size and proportions, masculine head, a touch broad in skull, well rounded with good stop, excellent length in muzzle, lovely soft expression, low set ears, slightly arched neck, lovely sloping topline, balanced angulations, lovely ribcage with good depth and length, short coupled, straight front and lovely bone and compact feet. Powerful mover covering the ground well with lovely reach and drive keeping a lovely outline. Coat presented in great condition with correct silky texture. Beautiful presented.

2ND Marsh & Hill´s Little Life Bright Power Flow (Imp Fin)

Lovely buff male, well shaped masculine head with alert expression, correct stop and low set ears, good length in muzzle, excellent long neck, a touch upright in shoulder but still keeping a lovely sloping topline with good tailset, adequate frontassembly, strong backend, lovely ribcage with good length, moves with lovely sidegait, just needs to settle in front while coming and going. Lovely silky coat

1ST Dummett & Vikhrova´s Nova Story Boogie Woogie (Imp Mne) JW

 Parti-colour male, somewhat elegant male, masculine enough in head, well rounded skull, good stop and length in muzzle, lovely low earset, intelligent expression, lovely shoulders, good sloping topline, balanced angulations fore and aft, excellent compact ribcage and short coupled, lovely bone and compact feet, powerful mover with good reach in front. When it comes to the coat, it was presented on the day with too much products in it and it was hard to tell the correct texture.

2ND Morris´ Mycalleys Sirocco JW

 Compact black & tan male, well rounded masculine head with good stop and alert expression, correct length of muzzle, good earset, enough length of neck, sloping enough in topline, good tailset and carriage, well bodied with good length, short coupled, on the day he was presented in rather woolly coat, moved with good drive and enough reach in front.

1ST Linde-Klerholm´s Am/swe/nor/dk Ch Rotojet's Revelation

 A beautiful jet black dog shown in immaculate condition and presented to perfection. Masculine well rounded head with well defined stop and eyebrows, broad muzzle with deep and square jaws. Lovely low set lobular ears, muscular clean neck, excellent shoulder and breed typical sloping topline with excellent tailset and carriage. Maximum bodied with deep and well sprung ribs and short coupled, lovely strong boned hindquarters with well let down strong hocks, his handler piloted him so well co-ordinated around the ring, covering the ground with smooth and effortless pace and very parallel coming and going. His coat presentation was sublime, not a hair out of place with the correct silky texture. He stood out for type and was without a doubt my ultimate CC winner and I was told this was his crowning one! Big congratulations to the owner.

2ND Harris´ Sh Ch Zarcrest After Blend

 Amazing young parti colour male, being just 18 months old, but he stood his ground in this class, beautiful size and proportions, excellent masculine head with correct rounded skull, intelligent expression and well defined stop, correct square muzzle and low set lobular ears, lovely slightly arched long neck set into perfect shoulders, breedtypical sloping topline with correct tailset and carriage, lovely angulated upperarm and balanced hindquarters, lovely body and substance for his age and short coupled, excellent bone and compact feet, he stood out in movement, covering the ground really well and parallel coming a going. He was presented in perfect coatcondition and handled to perfection by his clever handler. He was my final RCC winner

 Lovely feminine parti-colour, clean outline, beautiful well rounded skull, intelligent expression and well defined stop, broad enough in muzzle for her age, lovely long neck, well angulated fore and aft, sloping enough in topline, well bodied for her age, when settled she covered the ground well and presented in lovely silky coat and condition, she was my Best Puppy

 Compact black bitch, lovely head and expression, correct stop and length in muzzle, lovely low set ears, long neck flowing into a correct sloping topline and good tailset, balanced angulations, well bodied with good length and well sprung ribs, moved with enough reach and drive, very nice coat and texture.

2ND Fryer´s Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco

 A bit longer parti-colour bitch, lovely well shaped feminine head with good skull, correct defined stop, alert expression, broad enough in muzzle, good low set ears, good neck and sloping enough in topline, balanced angulations, deep in body with adequate sprung ribs, enough length, moves with good sidegait, could be more parallel coming and going, lovely coat and condition.

2ND Stokes & Stokes & Vorderstrasse Jaclee Shout and Pout

 Black & tan bitch, compact appearance who just needs more confidence in the showring. Lovely head and expression, good stop and low set ears, enough length of neck, correct sloping topline, a bit rounded rump and low set tail.Well angulated, excellent body and substance, moved with enough stride around the ring, very good coat and condition.

1ST Lynn´s Afterglow Dominique

 What a cracking, most appealing 18 months old parti-colour bitch! WOW, she gave me goosebumps as soon as entered the ring. So merry and sound and feminine bitch that ticked all my boxes when it comes to breedfeatures. The most appealing well round and developed hear with beautiful intelligent eyes and a soft expression, well defined stop and lovely deep and square muzzle, excellent low set lobular ears, so balanced throughout, lovely long, muscular neck flowing into a perfect breed typical sloping topline with correct tailset, textbook angulations with well let down strong hocks, lovely deep body with well sprung ribs, lovely bone and compact feet. Her movement was second to none, so effortless, smooth and groundcovering, her coat was presented in immaculate condition and not a hari out of place. Her handled piloted her to perfection and they were so well co-ordinated together. It was a sincere pleasure to go over her on the day and she was my absolute winner on the day, my notes said “perfection”. I had no doubts to award her the CC and BOB and I am very much looking forward to follow her future career. Sadly the handler couldn’t stay for the Group since I would have loved others to see this “beauty” in the mainring.

2ND Clay´s Cutiepooch Born to Tri Americlass

Very nice tri-colour bitch with a lovely head, well rounded and alert expression, correct stop and well set ears, lovely set of neck, correct sloping topline, well angulated fore and aft, very good ribcage and short coupled, excellent bone and compact feet, beautiful silky coat and condition, on the move she was parallel enough coming and going with enough grouncoverage.

 Beautiful presented jet black bitch shown in top condition, lovely feminine head, well rounded, excellent stop and intelligent expression, excellent broad and square muzzle, low set lobular ears, lovely slightly arched neck, maximum sloping topline and correct tailset, so balanced angulations, well bodied and excellent spring of ribs, lovely strong hocks, excellent bone and feet, very powerful on the move and when settled she covered the ground really well with excellent parallel coming and going stride, he coatpresentation was second to none and not a hair out of place, handled to perfection. She was my ultimate RCC winner.

2ND Dummett´s Almondsbury The Pop Kids JW

 Rather heavy headed bitch that could be more feminine in skull and muzzle, excellent stop, alert expression, well set ears, lovely angulations fore and aft, excellent long neck flowing into a lovely sloping topline, well bodied with good length, , lovely bone and feet, powerful mover covering the ground well, When it comes to the coat, it was presented on the day with too much products in it and it was hard to tell the correct texture.
