Class 3029 Junior Dog (2,0)

1st. Stephenson’s - Kamgaard Kyffin for Brawdor. Beautiful head, eye & expression on this 14-month-old boy. Very good forehand into straight well boned front, level topline to good tailset, good quarters. He still needs to fill out in body, but the essentials are there, he moved freely with a good stride.

2nd. Young’s - Laakso Karo at Torloisk. Good head shape but I preferred the expression on the winner. This 17-month boy is well bodied for his age, he has a good forehand, with nice bone, good topline & super quarters. He moved out well enough but didn’t have the length of stride as he first boy, excellent coat & condition.

Class 3030 Post Graduate Dog (3,0)

1st. Cowper’s - Kamgaard Kross the Sea at Rothenborg. Lovely head shape with a beautiful eye & expression. Super forehand, straight well boned forelegs, tight feet, level topline with good depth of chest & spring of rib. Good tailset & excellent quarters with super muscletone, he was a little unsettled on the move but still showed a good reach of stride in profile.

2nd. Cuss’ - Norvin Krakjen. Another boy with a good head, eye & expression, he used his ears well. Good through the forehand, good depth, excellent topline & quarters, presenting a very good outline. He moved out ok but was not as positive in front as the winner.

He has a very good forehand, straight well boned front with tight feet, strong neck into good shoulders, good depth of chest, he is well ribbed back & has a level topline. High set tail, with super quarters, he moved soundly with a good stride. Shown in super coat & condition.

2nd. Stone’s - Laakso Eike. Another super boy who pushed the winner hard. He too has a beautiful head & eye, excellent forehand with good bone down to tight feet. Level topline, good depth of chest, strong quarters & good hocks, he was sound out & back but didn’t have the reach of the winner.

Strong tail which is well set, powerful quarters with excellent muscletone, on the move he is sound & true with an effortless action in profile. His coat & conditioning was first class & he showed his socks off to a well-deserved DCC.

2nd. Simm’s - Ch Aftonlee Aros at Elverdal. I loved this boy’s body shape & type, he has a pleasing head & expression, good neck, straight front, super body & conditioning. He holds his topline well both on the stack & the move & he covers the ground soundly with a good stride, RDCC.

Class 3036 Puppy Bitch (4,2)

What a super class of mischievous 10-month-old litter sisters, whilst it was very difficult to assess movement on the pair of them the glimpses I got were good.

1st. Gilbert’s - Bowerhinton Bailey Grace for Balsemasi. Super body shape, she is well put together & has everything in the right place. Pretty head with a lovely expression from her dark well shaped eye. Good forehand, straight front, good depth for age, she holds a good topline & has shapely quarters. Nothing to choose between them, his girl just put a little bit more in on the move which gave her the class.

2nd. Cowper & Stokes’ - Bowerhinton Bonny Beth at Rothenborg. Exquisite head & expression on this cheeky girl, she has a super forehand, short, level topline, good depth of chest & spring of rib. Her tail is well set on & her quarters are very well made. Gave her handler a VERY hard time!

Class 3037 Junior Bitch (3,2)

1st. Williams’ - Laakso Kaunis at Akritiko. Exquisite 16-month-old girl with a head & expression to die for. Super make & shape, her forehand is textbook with quality bone down to neat feet, level topline, strong short loin, super depth of chest & good ribbing. Excellent quarters with good muscletone, good tailset, on the move she is sound & true with a very good stride. Her breed type, look of quality & joie de vivre totally captivated me & it was a very close call for the big green card, RBCC.

Class 3039 Limit Bitch (2,0)

1st. Tyson’s - Bowerhinton Bright Flame at Starceylon Jw. Stunning girl with a head to die for, her dark expressive eye draws you in totally. She has a strong neck into clean well laid shoulder, straight well boned front with neat feet. Solid topline, good depth of chest, spring of rib & strong loin. Her tail has a good curl & is carried high, powerful quarters which she used well, her coat & conditioning was excellent, and she moved soundly with a bit of style. The more she moved the better she got, on the final run around she upped the ante & I was delighted to award her the BCC & BOB. I was later told this win gave her, her title – many congratulations!
