Thank you to the Society for the appointment. It is hard running a double championship show. It takes a huge amount of organising and co-operation from all concerned. I would like to thank my stewards for keeping the ring going with there endeavours and to the exhibitors who took their placings with sportsmanship. I was very pleased with the presentation and cleanliness of the exhibits.

FINNISH LAPPHUND

Puppy Dog (1,0), 1 Daly, Miss. E.L., Whinfoss Kesansoturi (AI): A 9mth old brown dog. He is a pleasing dog that is nicely grown for his age. He is well balanced with a nice out-line and type. Still a little loose on the move but ok. Pleased to award him BPD.

Junior Dog (1,0), 1 Daly, Miss. E.L., Whinfoss Kesansoturi (AI): As before.

Limit Dog (1,0), 1 Daly, Miss. E.L.., Tabanyaruu Borealis Boo: A 2.5yr old black dog. Very pleasing on the eye. He has a pleasing head, adequate neck, good back and good front angles. Good body with plenty of substance and neat rear. I particularly liked his movement, moved with ease eating up the ring as he went. Pleased to award him BD and the CC. Well done.

2 Meikle & Henderson, Miss E. & Mr. S., Elbereth Etiainen at Lintukoto: A 2yr old black dog. Not quite as mature as 1st, slightly better shape than 1st, but not quite as good on the move. Could easily swop places. Neat dog, I liked him.

Veteran Dog (1,0), 1 Samuel, Mr. N., Mrs. C. & Miss S., Oberitz Upponalle: Rising 10yrs old a brown dog that is well off for coat. He is of a very pleasing type and out-line. He started a little sluggish, but quickly came together and moved absolutely fine earning himself the DRCC. Well deserved. Well done on Best Veteran dog.

Special Beginners Dog (1.0), 1 Daly, Miss. E.L., Tabanyaruu Borealis Boo: As before.

Puppy Bitch (1,0), 1 Fowler, Miss. A., Whinfoss Kesanlehvisto at Lapinruska (AI): A 9mth old bitch, dark back and light head and neck. She is a lovely shape and type that was very settled for her age. Very pleasing to go over and very well settled on the move. Pleased to award her not only BPB but BP. Well done.

Junior Bitch (1,0), 1 Fowler, Miss. A., Whinfoss Kesanlehvisto at Lapinruska (AI): As before.

2 Clark, Ms. N., Aateli Koira Vakker Yuna at Lumenico (Imp. Fra.): A 14mth old bitch similar in colour to 1st. Not quite as well balanced as above, but is of a pleasing type and out-line. Moved ok. She is well filled out for her age with plenty of substance which I appreciated.

Post Graduate Bitch (3.0), 1 Clark, Ms. N., Aateli Koira Vakker Yuna at Lumenico (Imp. Fra.): As before.

2 Reynolds, Mrs. P., Elbereth Vain Yksi Lisää: A 2yr old black bitch, well balanced nice type with a neat out-line. Nicely put together. Moved well. Just needed a bit more substance for me.

3 Fowler, Miss A., Tabanyaruu Unelma Kukinta at Lapinruska: A 6yr old grey/black bitch. Moved ok, but lacked presence for me. She is typy with nice angles. But lacked feminity for me.

Limit Bitch (3,0), 1 Meikle & Henderson, Miss E. & Mr. S., Lintukoto Ilmiomainen, (AI): A black 2.5yr old bitch a pleasing girl of a nice type and out-line. Good size with nice angles front and rear. Moved around the ring well. Pleasing on the eye.

2 Stanley, Mr. S. & Mrs. A., Ansalfrose Wivi JW: A 2.5yr old predominantly black bitch. Similar in size to 1st and of a good type and out-line. Pipped just on movement. Still very nice.

3 Proctor, Mrs. C.M., Alkantara Talvi Hamara with Cathbri: A 3.5yr old brown bitch, a neat girl of good type and out-line. Just missing out on a higher place.

Open Bitch (2,0), 1 Jackson, Mr. S., Ch. Elbereth Unisieppari JW: An 2yr old black bitch that is very pretty, feminine and extremely easy on the eye. She is very typy and well balanced throughout. Her head is nicely balanced showing her femininity, excellent neck, good back and excellent angles front and rear. Strong throughout excellent mover. Pleased to award her the BCC and BOB. Well done.

2 Graystone, Mrs. S.B., Ch Morval Helina Keiju: A 7yr old black bitch. A worthy champion, but just out of condition now. She is just beginning to show her age. Moved ok.

Veteran Bitch (1,0), 1 Stanley, Mr. S. & Mrs. A., Ansalfrose Jojanna: A 7yr old light fawn bitch of a nice type and out-line. Just full of herself. She is well balanced throughout, moving around the ring with purpose. I was pleased to award her the BRCC and BV in Breed. Well done.

Special Beginners Bitch (1.0), 1 Clark, Ms. N., Aateli Koira Vakker Yuna at Lumenico (Imp. Fra.): As before.
