Thank you to the Society for the appointment. It is hard running a double championship show. It takes a huge amount of organising and co-operation from all concerned. I would like to thank my stewards for keeping the ring going with there endeavours and to the exhibitors who took their placings with sportsmanship. I was very pleased with the presentation and cleanliness of the exhibits.

BRIARD

Puppy Dog (1,0), 1 Fieldsend, Mr. T.J. & Mrs. A.M., Starwell Chasing the Dream: A 7mth old fawn dog. That is well grown for age, just a little un-settled, but should settle down with time. His handler managed to get him moving which was good of him. He has a pleasing head and neck, good front, firm back and good angles front and rear. Should do well when settled.

Post Graduate Dog (1,0), 1 Thorpe, Mrs. E., Gilcoru Malbec D’Brie, JW: A 20mth old fawn dog, coat changing nicely. He is still a little un-settled, but redeems himself on the move. He still has some maturing to do., just to strengthen him up. He has a good head, good length of neck, neat front, and neat angles to rear. Handler just needs to push his hocks back a bit and his out-line will improve. On the move he is fine. Pleased to award him DRCC. Well done.

Limit Dog (1,0), 1 Kass, Miss. K.D., Fostebrie I Am Mika at Kimarlaz: An 18mth old fawn dog, pleasing out-line, nice type. Just missed out on the RCC. He has a neat head, good length of neck, neat front angles, good back and good angles to rear. He is coming along nicely.

Open Dog (1,0), 1 Foster, Mrs. C., CH/SUI/IR Ch. Fostebrie Just Unique, JW, OSW, LUX JCH AN Ch. 24: A 3yr old fawn dog of a very nice type and out-line. He is very pleasing on the eye. No doubt a lot has been said about him. The first thing you see about him is his top-line which he keeps on the move. Excellent good head, enough neck, neat front, excellent back, good rear neat angles and neat hocks. Pleased to award him the DCC and BOB and so pleased to see him pulled out in the group. Well done.

Veteran Dog (2,0), 1 Rual-Keogh, Wescott-Smith & Smith, Mrs. N., Mrs. T. & Mr. S., CH/IR/BE/INT/NL CH. Gilcoru Sauvignon D’Brie at Rozimba BE/NL JCH BJW18 AJW18 CENW: A 7.5yr old fawn dog. Not a big dog. He is pleasing for his size. He keeps his top-line on the move and is well balanced. Pleased to award him BV.

2 Steel, Mrs. S.C. & Mr. W.D.B., Fostebrie Schmitten Noir: A 7yr old black dog. He is pleasing enough, unfortunately just let himself down on the move which was a shame.

Puppy Bitch (1,0), 1 Thomson, Mr. D., Fostebrie Just Finesse: A 9mth old fawn girl. I liked her, she is nicely put together and sound as a bell. Moved purposely around the ring. Pleased to award her BP.

Junior Bitch (1,0), 1 Ryan, Ms. J., Fostebrie Pure Binoche for Badgerhurst: A 14mth old fawn bitch that is well grown and well up to size. She paced at first but settled down and moved well. She is of a pleasing type and has a pleasing out-line and lots to like about her.

Post Graduate Bitch (3.0), 1 Ryan, Ms. J., Fostebrie Pure Binoche for Badgerhurst: (As above).

2 Foster, Mrs. C., Fostebrie Hopes Sensation, JW: A 19mth old fawn bitch that is well grown. Shorter in back that 1st, which I preferred. But not quite the rear angle, which showed in movement. But I still liked her.

3 Nelson, Mrs. D. & Mr. I., Gilcoru L’Interdi’t D’Brie: A 2yr old fawn bitch. Just a little light all the way through for me, making her appear longer than she is. Hopefully when she fills out, she should be ok.

Limit Bitch (1,0), 1 Gardner & Hillier, Mr. A. & Mrs. S., Tigra De Los Niegos to Charson, (Imp. Esp.): A 2yr old black/grey girl that is very pretty. Super type and fabulous shape. Moved out well. Pleased to award her BRCC. Takes a lot to beat her.

Open Bitch (3,0), 1 Foster, Mrs. C., CH/NL/LUX/SUI/UIR/INT Ch. Fostebrie Precious Hope (AI) JW Sh.CM CJW18 WW18 Benelux18: An 8yr old black bitch. I judged this bitch at her first show, a few years ago. I loved her then and still do. She is a super type and out-line, and has matured into a super girl. I had no hesitation in awarding her the BCC and of course meeting up with her after all those years.

2 Wescott-Smith & Smith, Mrs. T & Mr. R., Lux Ch Vivienne De L’Arene Noire at Rozimba (Imp. Bel.) Bel JNR CH/BWJ23 WW J23: A 2.5yr old black/grey bitch that is pleasing on the eye. She has a nice out-line and of a good type. A worthy champion that was well presented and moved nicely around the ring. Shame to come up against the 1st.

3 Ryan, Ms. J., Tant Mystique De La Chaume Du Bois Dieu to Badgerhurst (Imp Fra): A 2.5yr old black bitch. What a shame she requires training and handling. When complete I am sure she will be fine. Endeavour and it will pay off.
