I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge at this great show.   Thank you to the 2 stewards for keeping the ring running smoothly and to the exhibitors for showing and moving around the ring.

Veteran Dog (1,0), 1 Woods, Ms. H. & Mr. Ian & Bull, Ms. L., Int. Uk., Swiss., Bel., Lux., Ch. Vigilats Rhapsody In Blue via Bumblebob, (Imp. NLD.): Dog.  A 7yr old worthy champion that stood alone in this class.   He is a pleasing type with a nice out-line. His head is balanced for size with dark eyes, good length of neck, good lay back of shoulder.   Pleasing front, good brisket and ribs, short loin, gentle rise.  Pleasing angles to rear, good hocks. Coat of good colour and profuse. Moved out ok.  Pleased to award him BV and to watch him get pulled out in the Veteran Group.   Well done.

Junior Dog (1,0), 1 Winson, Dr. Sarah, Meisan Roly Poly Angelo: Another that stood alone a 14.5mth old dog that stands 4 square. In profile he is very typy and well balanced.  He has a good head, correct bite, good muzzle, stop and dark eyes. Good length of neck, plenty of bone, decent sternum which was appreciated by me.  Surprising how many lacked it.  Strong back, gentle rise, excellent tail set, good strong back end, nice bend of stifle, low set hocks.  He moved free and easy around the ring.  His coat is coming through nicely with a really good break at that age.  Pleased to award him RCC.

Post Graduate Dog (2,0), 1 Fawcett, Mrs. Karen Jeanette, Starjanda Mr. Bright Sky: A 2yr old dog, of a good size, and really good hands on.   Good size of head, correct bite, strong square muzzle, good stop and dark eyes.   Good size of head and ear-set.  Good length of neck, good lay back of shoulder, deep brisket.  Plenty of bone, good ribs, short loin, gentle rise over loin.  Tail set could be lower.  Strong back end. He has a good bend of stifle and second thigh which needs to be shown more and strong hocks.  He can move free and easy on a loose lead with reach and drive.  His coat is coming through nicely.  He deserved to win his 1st CC.

2 Spurling, Mr. Trevor & Spurling, Mrs. Carol, Jelabobs Paco Rabanne for Dantrecar: A 17mth old dog that is a bit smaller than 1st.  He is very typy and well balanced for size.  He was better presented than 1st on the day.  His junior coat showing nicely on the day. His head is well balanced with correct bite, neat muzzle, dark eyes and decent skull.  Fair neck, good layback of shoulder, plenty of bone, brisket coming along nicely, nice spring of rib and gentle rise.  Pleasing angles to rear.  Movement was ok.  Just lacked the easy movement with age.  But one to watch.

Open Dog (2,0), 1 Mills, Mrs. P., Kerjalee Evan Sent: A 2yr old dog, plenty of him.  A heavy big dog throughout, large head, dark eyes.  Powerful neck, plenty of bone, deep chest.  Large back end. A dog with substance and some, moved with purpose.

2 Pullen, Mrs. L.A., Meadowbears Master of Music: A 6yr old dog that I have admired for a long time, and always thought he should have done better.  He is a good size, with good head and neck, which he could show better.  He also looks longer than he is.  His angles are fine.  He could have moved better on the day.  I still like him and he is one of those dogs you say to yourself if I had him.

Puppy Bitch (1,0), 1 Winson, Mrs. Sandra, Allhart Angelic Surprise for Meisan, NAF: A 10mth old bitch that is well grown for age. Nice out-line and very typy.  This very feminine bitch has a well-balanced head for age with dark eyes, good length of neck.  Plenty of body for age with nice angles front and rear.   Moved soundly for age, and her coat is exactly where I want it to be at this age. Took  BP in Breed, well done.

Post Graduate Bitch (4.0), 1 Hardy-Hodgson, Mrs. Julie, Starjanda Cosmic Dream, JW, Ir J CH: A 2yr old bitch maturing up nicely. She is of a nice type and out-line and very feminine.   She has a well-balanced head with dark eyes, good length of neck, well laid-back shoulders, deep brisket and plenty of bone.   Strong back, gentle rise, good angles to rear with neat hocks.   She excels in movement, covers the ground with ease.   Making it look easy. Coat is coming through nicely.

2 Castle, Mr. Graham & Mrs. Dawn, Molyneux Just You Wait: A 21mth old girl with a very pleasing out-line and nice type.  Heavier than 1st but not to heavy to remove her feminity.   She has a nice head with dark eyes, good length of neck, neat front, deep brisket.   More than enough bone, gentle rise, strong back end and neat hocks.   Moved ok, liked her.

3 Pullen, Mrs. L.A., Mellowdee Sweet Xena for Meadowbears: A 2yr old bitch with a lovely jacket of a light grey junior coat. Beginning to change to a lovely mature coat.   She is a very nice balanced bitch through-out, nice type.   Just movement let her down on the day.

4 Moore, Mr. William & Moore, Mrs. Shirley, Mellowdee Do I Love You at Shimorill: Another 2yr old bitch, just coming out of junior coat, which she has plenty of.   She is a pleasing girl that was unfortunately let down on movement today.    A day when you needed a runner to get round the ring.

Limit Bitch (1,0), 1 Rutland, Mrs. S. & Porter, Mrs. T., Mellowdee Diamond Lil, JW: A 2yr old bitch.  Stood alone in this class.  Very nice type and out-line, well balanced through-out, very feminine.   Nice head with dark eyes, good ear set, correct bite, good length of neck.   Good layback of shoulder, deep brisket, strong back, gentle rise. Good angles front and rear.   Neat hocks.  Moved free and easy. Pleased to award her RCC.   Well done.

Open Bitch (4,1), 1 Miller, Mrs. D.P., Ch. Mellowdee Fancy Nancy for Millwinkie, JW: I love this 3.5yr old bitch.  She oozes breed type for me.   So balanced, so feminine. Lovely feminine head, correct bite, good length to muzzle, neat stop, dark eyes and good skull.   Well arched neck, good layback, plenty of bone, deep brisket, good back, gentle rise, strong back end.   Adequate angles not over-done, neat hocks, plenty of coat to finish off the picture.   Easy on the move.   Pleased to award her the CC and BOB. And yes, I would have taken her home.

2 Poole, Mrs. E., Evertonian St. Domingo Girl: A 4.5yr old bitch, whose coat is coming through nicely.   She is of a pleasing type and out-line.   Nice balanced head with dark eyes.   Neat front, deep brisket, gentle rise and strong back end.   Neat hocks.   Moved out well around the ring.

3 Dempsey, Mr. Mrs. Joe & Pia, Ir. Ch. Bellablue Sweet Dreams Ruby: A pleasing bitch shown in a wealth of blue coat.   She is of a pleasing type and out-line with plenty of feminine features.   Just let down on movement today.
