It was a pleasure to judge at the Ladies Kennel Association Championship Show.  It is without doubt one of my favourite shows. Thank you for the fabulous entry.  All exhibits were clean and well groomed.  Everyone took their placings with grace which was very much appreciated by me. I was pleased with all my winners and quite a number could have swopped places.

Minor Puppy Dog (8,1), 1 Jeavons, Mr. G., Grandgenes Panning For Gold: A 7mth old S/W dog with a super coat for age. He was superbly groomed and presented. Very eye catching with a super out-line and type. Moved a dream around the ring. Superb proportions throughout. Promising future awaits.    2 Walker, Mrs. S., Cuilshelties Touch of Class With Grandgenes: A 6mth old B/M dog. Another super dog of great type and out-line, just maturity. A few weeks make a massive difference at this age. Moved well.    Another with a promising future, loved him.   3 Miles, Mrs. J., Milesend Musician.    4 Miles, Mrs. J., Milesend Minstrel.

Puppy Dog (7,1), 1 Robinson, Mrs. S., Dippersmoor Starmaker For Lavika: A 9mth old S/W dog. Beautifully presented. He is a very nice size, great out-line and type. Well balanced, neat ear carriage, good eye and neat muzzle. Fair neck, very neat front, good back and good strong back end. Neat tail set. Fills the eye nicely. Moved well.    2 Walker, Mrs. S., Stormin Norm By Tooralie: A 12mth old S/W. Another pleasing dog slightly longer than 1st, that said he is well balanced throughout. Pleasing head with good ear-set, neat eyes and muzzle. Good front, level back, strong back end and neat hocks. Liked him a lot.    3 Hateley, Mrs. K.E., Mohnesee Moonlight Master.    4 Mitchell, Miss. A., Valdosta Je Amour.

Junior Dog (4,0), 1 Gamble, Ms. H., Balidorn Olympic Star With Solyric: A 16mth old S/W dog that is well balanced. A neat dog nicely put together. Nice head, good ear-set, good eyes and neat muzzle. Good front and back end. Moved about the ring well. A lot to like about him.    2 Hateley, Mrs. K.E., Mohnesee Moonlight Master: An 11mth old Tri dog that is well grown. Was slightly out of coat on the day. But the coat he has is extremely harsh, which I loved. He is well balanced with a masculine head, good ear-set, good eyes and muzzle. Neat front and rear. Moves well.    3 Weller, Mrs. D., Evad Halloween Tzar.     4 Hughes, Mrs. S., Shadowess If I Can Dream At Cochochr.

Yearling Dog (5,0), 1 Rossiter, Mrs. C.S. & Rossiter, Mr. C., Cocaro The Highlander JW: A 22mth old S/W dog that is well grown of good type and out-line and well balanced. Nice head with neat ear-set, correct eyes and good muzzle. Neat front and strong back end and neat hocks. Moved well around the ring.    2 Jeavons, Mr. G., Grandgenes Play The Game: A 18mth old S/W dog. Bigger type full of substance. Nice out-line and well balanced with a good coat. Neat head, good angles front and rear. If you want substance this is your dog. Love to see him in a couple of years’ time.    3 Norris, Mrs. V., Ferngrove’s Code Blue JW.    4 Winfield, Mrs. V., Iskander Bohemia Classic For Oakcroft (Cze Imp) JW.

Graduate Dog (6,0), 1 Hateley, Mrs. K.E., Mohnesee The Charm Master JW: A 17mth old Dark S/W neat dog. Pleasing head, nice ear-set. Neat front and nice back end. Moved well using all the ring to his advantage.    2 Gamble, Ms. H., Balidorn Olympic Star With Solyric. As before.    3 Forbes Mrs. L.., Degallo The Name Of The Game.    4 Bird, Miss K. & Caden, Mrs. J., Moving On Up To Molson.

Post Graduate Dog (2,0), 1 Gamble, Ms. H., Balidorn Olympic Star With Solyric. As before.    2 Berry, Misses S. & F. & Clegram, Miss J. & Clegram, Mrs. C., Smiddyshaw Here I Go Again: A 2.5yr old S/W dog. Pleasing type and out-line. In good coat.  Neat head properties. Just felt he was a bit lethargic on the move which was a shame.

Limit Dog (8,0), 1 Pierce, Mr. St. & Mrs. Sj., Philhope In Good Taste: A 3yr old S/W. A well matured dog in good coat. Very pleasing out-line and type. Pleasing head properties making him very masculine. Good front and rear. Used the ring to his advantage, moving out well. Lots to like about him.    2 Winfield, Mrs. V., Oakcroft The Mandalorian JW: Another 3yr old S/W dog. A tad bigger than 1st and not a lot of difference between them. Both very nice with good out-lines and type. Neat on the move, I liked him.    3 Fisher, Mrs. D.J., Lavika The Tempest At Shellamoyed.    4 Smee, Mrs. D., Wansvale Amiable.

Open Dog (6,0), 1 Robinson, Miss K., Ch. Lavika Deep Blue Ocean: A 5yr old B/M dog. Took my eye straight away. Loved his type, out-line and over-all balance. He is masculine with-out being over the top. Lovely expressive head with good ear-set, correct shape eyes and good muzzle. Correct length to neck. Well laid-back shoulder, excellent ribbing, deep brisket and neat tuck-up. Plenty of width to back end. Good angles and neat hocks. Really smooth action on the move pleased to award him the CC. Well done.          2 Brady, Mrs. R. & Lynn, Mr. J., Ch. Afterglow Sky Miles To Bordercot: A 4yr old B/M dog. A little smaller than 1st and a year younger, but side by side they complemented each other. He has a lovely expression with that lovely head of his. Excellent neck, well laid shoulders, excellent front, good bone and deep brisket. Neat top-line, good width to rear, excellent angles and neat hocks. Pushed 1st very hard. I really liked him and had no problem in awarding him the RCC. Well worthy of his title. Thanks for bringing him.           3 Norris, Mrs. V., Ferngrove’s Valentino JW.    4 Forbes, Mrs. L., Ch. Degallo The Prodigy JW.

Veteran Dog (2,0), 1 Jacobs, Miss G.E. & Johnson Mr. R. & Johnson, Miss Willow, Willowthorn Dream Gazer JW, OSW, Sh.CM., ShCEX, Vw: An 8yr old Dark S/W mature lad in plenty of coat. He is of a pleasant type and out-line. Pleasing on the eye and moving well about the ring. Pleased to award him BV.    2 Taylor, Mr. K. & Wells, Mr. S., Ch. Lafitte De Moorstille Chez Shelridge JW, Vw, (Imp Fra.): A 10yr old S/W dog. A worthy Champion not quite in coat of 1st and not quite as smooth in movement. But still very nice.

Good Citizen Dog (3,1), 1 Mettan-Ure, Miss L., Oakcrofts Venturer Avec Savendie: A 5yr old Dark S/W dog. Pleasing type and out-line, in plenty of coat. Moved well about the ring.    2 Weller, Mrs. D., Evad Halloween Tzar: Just over 1yr of age. This S/W dog was placed 3rd in an earlier class. He is of a pleasing type and out-line. Just keep an eye on his movement.

Special Beginners Dog (2,1), 1 Ferguson, Dr. L., Fervaila Black Cuillin: A 18mth old Tri dog which I saw in an earlier in a strong class. He is a pleasing type with lots to like about him.

Minor Puppy Bitch (4,1), 1 Bennett, Mrs. P., Watchwood Style and Grace: An 8mth old S/W sweet girl. Very pleasing type and out-line. Very feminine and moved nicely around the ring. Well done.    2 Mottram, Mr. & Mrs. K.F., Grandgenes Designed In Gold For Lochkaren: A 7mth old S/W girl. Just a tad longer than 1st, but still of a very nice type and out-line. Moved out well.    3 Sutherland, Mrs. D. & Sutherland, Mr. I., Holamber Gold Blonde Diva.

Puppy Bitch (4,1), 1 Hateley, Mrs. K.E., Mohnesee Lullaby Nancy: A 10mth old Tri, very sweet girl. Liked her type and balance, very sharp. Moved nicely about the ring. Very neat. Should do well. Pleased to award her BP in Breed.    2 Syzling, Miss J., Maraval Magnolia: A 9mth old S/W, shame to come up against the 1st today. She is of a good type and out-line, very pleasing.                       3 Sutherland, Mrs. D. & Sutherland, Mr. I., Holamber Gold Caramel Candy.

Junior Bitch (10,1), 1 Hateley, Mrs. K.E., Mohnesee Lullaby Nancy: As before.    2 Fisher, Mrs. D.J., Shellamoyed A Winters Wish: A 13mth old B/M. Well grown bitch. She is of a pleasing type and out-line and shown in good coat. Pity to come up against 1st today. Just a tad longer than 1st.    3 Jackson, Miss. M., Kishdigra An Irish Blessing For Clairavelle, (IKC).    4 Bray, Mrs. G., Lianbray Lucy Locket.

Yearling Bitch (6,3), 1 Lynn, Mr. J.B. & Hynes, J. & Gadsby, Mr. M. & Isherwood, Mr. T., Afterglow Evermore: A 14mth old Tri coloured bitch that moved the best in this class. She is of a pleasing type and out-line. Still has a bit to go though. Coming on nicely.    2 Pierce, Mr. St. & Mrs. Sj., Philhope Clearly Prescious: An 18mth old S/W bitch. She is a pleasant type and out-line. Still a little timid and needs to settle on the move.    3 Mettan-Ure, Miss L., Savendie Meleys.

Graduate Bitch (8,2), 1 Jacobs, Miss G.E. & Johnson, Mr. R. & Johnson, Miss W., Willowthorn’s Roulette, JW: A 20mth old Dark S/W neat bitch, very nice out-line and type. Slightly out of coat. But nicely put together and a lovely mover. Well-deserved her placing.    2 Goodwin, Mrs. D., Rowancrest Legally Blonde: A 2yr old S/W very nice, just pipped by 1st. Very neat with good out-line and type. Moved out well.    3 Mayhew, Mr. M., Sandwick Saffron Gold.    4 Gruszka, Mr. & Mrs. S. & D., Achor’s Surprise Himalaya Over Samphrey, (Imp. Che.).

Post Graduate Bitch (5,1, 1w/d), 1 Hateley, Mrs. K.E., Mohnesee’s Meliya, JW: A 2.5yr old Tri bitch. A very neat girl, nice type and out-line. Moved very well. Very nice and well balanced through-out.    2 Cheal, Mrs. M., Valdosta Galadriel At Faemadra, JW: A 3yrs old Dark Sable. A very nice well-balanced bitch. Who is a nice type and out-line. Pity to come up against 1st on the day.                    3 Smee, Mrs. D., Wansvale Beyond Belief.

Limit Bitch (10,4), 1 Rowan, Mrs. D., Rowancrest Cinderella: Heading up this quality class was this 2yr old Dark Sable bitch. She is a quality bitch who well deserved her placing. A very well balanced, lovely type of girl who shouts shelty to me. Moves well just missed out on the very top spots today.    2 Rosslyn, Mrs. C. & Rosslyn Mr. W., Balidorn Golden Amber, Sh.CEX: A 6yrs old S/W who moved really well around the ring. She is a very pleasing type and out-line and is nicely balanced and earned her place today, well done.    3 Sutherland, Mrs. D. & Sutherland, Mr. I., Beechmere Beautiful At Holamber.    4 Gruszka, Mr. & Mrs. S. & D., Achor’s Surprise Himalaya Over Samphrey, (Imp. Che.)

Open Bitch (5,1 1w/d), 1 Robinson, Mrs S., Ch. Lavika Lateca: A 4yr old S/W bitch. Oh, what a beauty. Really takes your eye with her balance, type and out-line. In complete harmony with her handler. Lovely head piece with excellent ear-set, good length of neck on to perfect shoulders. Excellent front, well balanced back. Firm strong back-end. Excellent tail set, neat hocks, excellent coat groomed and presented to perfection. Pleased to award her the CC and BOB. And delighted to see her take Pastoral Group 2. Many congratulations.    2 Jeavons, Mr. G., UK Ch. Wylwind Designed For Grandgables, (SAF) JW: A 3yr old Tri, who I have not seen since I awarded her the RCC and she has come on so well. Just missing out on the very top spot today. She is fabulous, so well put together. Balanced all through, great type and out-line. So easy on the eye and so smooth on the move. Still one of my favourites. Pleased to award her the RCC.    3 Walker, Mrs. S., Tooralie’s Mossyfox My Trinity.

Veteran Bitch (1), 1 Cheal, Mrs. M., Carolelen Call My Bluff At Faemadra: An 8yr old S/W, stood alone in this class and quite clearly enjoying her day out. She is a pleasing type and out-line and moved ok around the ring. She deserved her place today.

Good Citizens Bitch (2, 1w/d), 1 Jackson, Miss M., Kishdigra An Irish Blessing For Clairavelle, (IKC): At just 12mths this S/W stood alone in this class. I had seen her earlier in a very strong class. She is a pleasing type and out-line. Moved well about the ring. Deserved her placing.

Special Beginners Bitch (5, 3), 1 Jackson, Miss M., Kishdigra An Irish Blessing For Clairavelle, (IKC): As before.    2 Bennett, Mrs. P., Watchwood Secret Asset: A 4yr old B/M, with a nice out-line, in plenty of coat. Just lets herself down on movement. Which was a shame as she is of a pleasing type.
