It was a pleasure and privilege to judge at this we’ll run and organised breed club show in pleasant surroundings. My thanks both to the Officers and Committee for their invitation to officiate at such a prestigious event and the exhibitors who entered their dogs and sportingly accepted my placings.

MINOR PUPPY DOG (2, 0)
1. Wright and Cranfield’s ZEFATHER’S TWO FACES WITH IREUSDANE, fawn, almost 9 months, typical body shape and proportions, ample bone and substance for age, pleasing head, eye and expression, good flow of neck into firm top-line, pleasing croup and set of tail, moved on a steady and even gait.
2. Jacques and Kirby’s JACQUIR TAKE ME HOME (AI), fawn, rising 9 months, typical head, eye and expression, well placed ears of pleasing size and shape, strong neck, good outline and proportions, not as settled as winner on the move.

PUPPY DOG (4, 0)
1. Lawton and Farquharson’s GARSAK SIR WINSLOW AT THORNBRAE, fawn, just short of 12 months, well grown with ample bone and substance, excellent body shape and proportions, masculine head with proportionate muzzle and back-skull, pleasing eye and expression, tidy mover, just a little proud of his tail.
2. Simpson’s RENESCENT BEWITCHED, black, just turned 11 months, promising youngster of pleasing type and quality, appeals in head, eye and expression, good neck and top-line, well put together and steady on the move, slightly longer cast than winner but lots to like about him.
3. Pocock and Pavlou’s BUBBA VON PAO EBERJAGER WITH TAMZDANE (IMP FCA).
4. Nunn, Patch and Nunn’s ROSHANUN CONQUISTADOR.

JUNIOR DOG (3, 0)
1. Bielecka’s AMERIKANO ATARAKSJA IN ALEGRIAGIANT (IMP POL), harlequin, almost 13 months, pleases for size and proportions, ample bone, strong neck, firm top-line, a little steep in croup and lacking in second thigh, moved on a steady and even gait.
2. B Von Pao Eberjsger with T, 11 moths, mantle, typical head, eye and expression, pleasing body proportions, plenty of rib, short coupled, just a little light in quarters and not quite as settled on move as winner.
3. Bartley’s PRIMUS GAMBLER ATELIB.

YEARLING DOG (3, 1)
1. Spackman’s NOVAVIDA NORSEMAN WARRIOR (AI), rising 14 months, upstanding brindle of good size and proportions, pleases in head, eye and expression, good, neck, rib and top-line, needs to strengthen in quarters, a little proud of his tail, on the move.
2. Tasker and Malloy’s NEWARTHDANE MARS, rising 21 months, black, not quite the substance and presence of winner, typical head properties, good eye, well placed and carried ears, well-muscled neck, firm top-line, steady on the move but would like more strength and drive in his rear quarters.

POST GRADUATE DOG (2, 1)
1. McLellan’s ANADAIN DEAD RINGER FOR LOVE JW, 22 months, fawn, typical head properties, kind eye, pleases for size and substance, well arched neck, typical outline with balanced overall construction, steady and accurate on the move.

LIMIT DOG (8, 1)
1. Munro’s ROUCANDANE STOLEN KISSES, 32 months, fawn, mature and confident exhibit that pleases the eye in many respects, masculine head, dark eye, well arched neck of correct length, upstanding with pleasing bone and substance, full rib, strong loin and quarters, gave a good account of himself on the move, just a little wide coming towards me.
2. DINAHTRON THE OMEN, fawn, full of quality and breed type, pleasing make and shape, correct head, eye and expression, elbows well set under body, good forehand, strong neck, ample rib cage, short coupled with pleasing slope of croup and correct set of tail, not quite as confident and stylish on the move as the winner.
3.Burns’ KINNEGANS WASN’T BORN TO FOLLOW FOR CARRICKTAIGH (AI) (IKC).

SPECIAL VETERAN DOG (4, 0)
1. Burns, Burns, McGuiness, and McGuiness-Burns’ CH GARSAK SIR BRODICK DINAHTRON, was my CC & BOB winner at SKC in 2021, at just over 6 years old retains the qualities that carried him to his title with typical body shape and symmetry, well-shaped and proportioned masculine headpiece, powerful body, well boned and constructed and carries himself well on a correct gait.
2. Hogarth’s CH FENDANESYLCREST AMERICAN OUTLAW AT SUNLIND (AI) (IMP USA), just over 7 years old, previously awarded him a Res CC behind the winner, full of breed type and quality, upstanding with presence and style, deep and powerful body, splendid neck and top-line, not quite the power and drive of winner on the move.

SPECIAL OPEN HARLEQUIN DOG (3, 1)
1. C Brian The Brave, harlequin, solidly built with a masculine head, dark eye, symmetrical and well-proportioned outline, a little heavy set for my taste and not really covering his ground on the move.
2. Amerikano Ataraskja In A.

SPECIAL OPEN FAWN DOG (4, 1)
1. Martin’s, KEISHANT ZEUS, five years old, elegant and upstanding appearance, pleasing head, eye and expression, strong and well arched neck with correct forehand, elbows well under brisket, good depth of body, firm top-line, could have been a little more positive in rear action.
2. Cranfield’s CH ZEFATHER’S RALPH LAUREN JW, four years old, lot to like about him but not quite the presence and stature of the winner, pleasing flow of neck and top-line, correct set of croup with pleasing tail set and carriage, well-constructed with a free and easy ground covering gait.

SPECIAL OPEN BLACK DOG (4, 1)
1. Macdonald’s ZEUS NERO VON ADAMANTIUM OF RANALDANE (IMP DEU) IR JCH CEN JW CW25, pleases in head and forehand, typical body proportions and symmetry, well ribbed back with firm and well-held topline, steady active mover, just a shade light in hind quarters.
2. N. Mars.

1. Pocock’s CH/INT/LUX/SWISS CH TAMZDANE EMPOWER MINT JW, Res CC, nicely headed, pleases in eye and expression, well-constructed, clean limbed with ample bone and substance, tight feet, well-muscled, ample depth and expanse of ribcage, excels on the move, would have liked just a tad more length of leg.

SPECIAL OPEN BLUE DOG (1, 0)
1. Lawson’s CREEK DANES OUT OF THE DARKNESS AT DROOLAKISS (IMP USA), upstanding and masculine in build and appearance, pleases in head with a kind eye, tidy front assembly with well set elbows and ample width of fore-chest, well boned and steady on the move.

OPEN DOG (2, 1)
1. Chappell’s CH SELMADA JEALOUS GUY, CC, and RBIS, an imposing exhibit exemplifying the standard in so many respects, strong and masculine yet noble and elegant in overall appearance, correctly proportioned skull and muzzle, with a dark and expressive eye, well carried ears of correct shape, size and placement, great strength and depth of body, strong well-muscled neck, excellent forequarters and ribbing, firm topline and strong loin, to be hypercritical could have moved with a little more dash and dare but nonetheless a fine example of the breed.
