A big thanks to the SKC Committee for inviting me. I was pleased with the entry and thanks to all those exhibitors who made the journey. On a positive note, LMs were well presented, and temperaments were excellent. My disappointment was that some good looking LMs did not move as well as might be expected from a working gundog breed.

JD (1 0 ) 1 Murdoch’s Almonrigg One in A Million : impressive example of the breed and all to like about him typical head with intelligent expression deep chest well muscled front and rear moved with drive his balanced construction, good bone and excellent movement won him RDCC

PGD( 2 0 ) I was really pleased to go over two quality dogs in this class

1 Macgregor’s Raycris Flame of Glory best of heads with good neck and deep chest well muscled in hard condition 2 Uherkovichova’s Ulys Du Pic Des Berlanches avec Exelby (Imp Fra) pleasing head and good construction winner was more mature on the day

1 Middleton & Trowsdale Elmer vom Blitzenbach at Amasffoy (Imp Deu) a dog I would like to own and so good for the breed to have him in UK. Pleasing head and expression balanced construction with deep chest , strong bone and well muscled. Coat not overdone for a working breed and excellent driving movement Pleased to award him DCC and BOB . unfortunately, owner could not stay for Group.

VD ( 1 0 )

1 Macgregor’s Sh Ch Ekkolander Snowstorm stood alone but well deserved first he did not look out of place in the strong line up for DCC and on another day could easily have won a top honour. Head of good type , good front and chest and very impressed with his movement

PB ( 1 0 ) 1 Evan’s Tarkanya Ritas Raspberry a lot to like about this youngster and when settled moved reasonably well Pleased to award BP today

JB ( 4 3 ) 1 Butler’s Almonrigg Sweet Honey Baby at Jendella's lively youngster with lots of promise and should grow into a quality girl typical feminine head with dark eye, good neck and chest moved well when settled

LB ( 3 0 ) 1 Powell & Murrell’s Tureagh Crystal Cider she is not the most stylish girl at first sight but under all her coat she is well constructed feminine head with good neck and front deep chest and good bone she moved well, and I was pleased to award her RBCC

2 Bisset’s Albadhu Written in The Stars moved out well preferred maturity of winner 3 Evan’s Tarkanya Sophies Sunflower

OB ( 4 2 )

1Logie & Braidwood’s Sh Ch Albadhu Final Encounter all to like about this quality bitch feminine head , good type and construction despite her lack of coat she excelled in other qualities and pleased to award her BCC

2 Logie & Braidwood’s Sh Ch Albadhu Pawsitive Vibes JW another quality bitch I just preferred the winner’s movement.

VB ( 2 1 )

1 Logie & Braidwood’s Sh Ch Cindy vom Hundsfeld at Albadhu (Imp Deu) I remember giving her BP a few years ago. She has gone on to grow into a quality bitch who excels in type and has produced great offspring. The years have caught up with her and sadly her movement is not as good as it was. It was a pleasure to go over her and thank you owners for bringing her
