My thanks to the officers and committee of the United Old English Sheepdog Club for the invitation to judge their second Championship show and for the wonderful hospitality shown. It was an honour to judge this well run proactive club.

MPD (1 1)

PD (3 0) 1 Grundy’s Amalong Oak 9 months dog wall eye with pigment, strong head, square jaw, good depth of brisket for age, strong rear with good angulation, puppy coat changing, moved well BPD 2 Hartley’s Allhart The Trickster, 9 months, 2 dark eyes, good front and rear angles, coat changing nicely, moved well, 3 Cartridge & Sturgess Lammorick Summer Lover 11 months, everything to like about this boy, 2 dark eyes, good head, mouth and muzzle, good front and rear angulation, coat changing from puppy correctly. Moved ok.

JD (2 0) Winson’s Meison Roly Poly Angelo,13 months, very promising junior, smaller type but masculine, 2 dark brown well pigmented eyes, strong head, short square muzzle and good stop, good reach of neck with correct front angulation, very good depth of brisket and spring of rib, rising topline, short coupled, strong rear and low set hocks and good turn of stifle, coat correct for age, moved very well. 2 Deakin’s Amblehart Mr Banks At Darwillow another promising junior 13 months larger type boy, he has a large square skull with a short muzzle and good stop, 2 dark eyes. Very good front angulation and excellent reach of neck, good depth of brisket and spring of rib, rising topline, good rear angulation, coat correct for age. Being a bigger type, he needs a little time to mature and come together, then should do very well.

SYD (3 0) 1 Spurling’s Jelabobs Paco Rabane For Dantrecar 15 months, another very promising young dog, typical expression, large head with a correct stop, good mouth, short square muzzle and large nose, good reach of neck and lay back of shoulder, well off for bone, rising topline, good rear angulation with low set hocks, junior coat changing, moved well, very good presentation. 2 Barnes’ Macopa Midnight Arrival 2 dark eyes with pigment, good head and mouth, plenty of bone, balanced angles front and rear, fairly short coupled, coat changing nicely, moved well. 3 Cartridge & Sturgess Lammorick Summer Lover.

PGD (4 1) Cossin’s Excelente (IMP ESP) 23 months, large skull, 2 dark brown eyes with pigment, good mouth, fair reach of neck and front angulation, plenty of bone, good spring of rib and depth of brisket, strong rear with low set hocks, coat changing, moved well. 2 Howsam’s Melleonars Keep It Cool Branston at Jandoes (IMP DEU) JW 22 months, 2 dark eyes with pigment, good head properties, plenty of bone, balanced front and rear angles, moved well, pushed 1 close. 3 Barnes’ Macopa Midnight Arrival.

LD (3 1) Halladay’s Mopies My Boy Lollipop 2 dark eyes with pigment, good head, mouth and muzzle, nice depth of brisket and good spring of rib, balanced angles front and rear, moved well, just needs more coat to complete the picture. 2 Jones’ Leader Dei Nobilpazzi (IMP ITA) 2 very dark eyes with pigment, good head properties, good reach of neck and lay back of shoulder strong rear with low set hocks, moved well, again just needs more coat to finish a quality dog.

OD (5 1) 1 Millward’s Ch Beauvallon Jack Frost at Wilbamil Top quality male with great ring presence, 2 dark pigmented eyes, good bite, large capacious skull with a good stop and short square muzzle making a lovely but masculine expression, arched neck with good lay back of shoulder, well off for bone, excellent front angles, very good depth of brisket with well sprung ribs, correct rising topline, balanced rear with a good turn of stifle, strong low set hocks, good quality coat, moved around the ring with ease, shown well, with excellent presentation, pleased to award him DCC BIS. 2 Mann’s Blairdon the Water of Life for Flufebustles quality male with lots of substance, 2 very dark eyes with pigment, Masculine head and expression, good length of neck, with shoulders well laid back, balanced front and rear angles, deep brisket and well sprung ribs, short coupled with a rising topline, strong let down hocks, good coat, moved with drive RDCC 3 Lattimer’s AUS CH Ottaba Right on Quewe ShCEx (AI)(IMP AUS) 2 dark pigmented eyes, good head, fair reach of neck, well balanced front and rear, plenty of substance, good coat, moved well.

MPB (1 0) Ford’s Clenmaen Shepherdess (ATC BC15091KC) Almost 9 months, Very promising puppy that stands out even at this young age, 2 dark eyes with pigment , good sized head with a short square muzzle, good dentition, lovely feminine expression, arched neck with good lay back of shoulder, she has so much bone, brisket and spring of rib for one so young, short coupled with the correct rising topline, angles are balanced front and rear with low set hocks and a good turn of stifle, puppy coat changing, she moved very well and with drive, should do well. PB (2 0) Winson’s Allhart Angelic Surprise At Meisan NAF TAF Very pretty 9 months promising puppy bitch, dark eyes, strong but feminine head properties, nice reach of neck, correct front and rear angulation, plenty of substance, low set hocks, puppy coat changing, moved very well 2 Hartley’s Allhart Pampered Princess, Litter sister to 1 with very similar properties, 2 Beautiful blue eyes with pigment, again a lovely feminine expression, good neck, correct front and rear angulation, strong rear, coat changing to junior, she moved very well, both puppies should mature well.

JB (3 0) Davies’ Jelabobs Spring Fairytale, 16 months, very feminine junior bitch with 2 dark pigmented eyes, good size head with correct stop, square muzzle and correct bite, very pretty expression, a good reach of neck and lay back of shoulder, good depth of brisket, she has good angulation which gave her drive and extension when moving, coat changing well. 2 Mills’ Kerjalee Dressed To Impress At Mopill, this girl also has a lovely feminine expression, 2 very dark eyes, very good head properties, nice reach of neck, balanced front and rear, coat changing correctly for age, moved well. 3 Mann’s Krissendaw Kassia For Flufebustles, this junior bitch catches the eye, she has a very good head, neck and front angles, well off bone, deep chest, a rising topline and good rear angulation, beautiful junior coat, just needs to settle.

SYB (2 0) 1 Castle’s Molyneux Just You Wait, Good quality yearling bitch, 2 very dark pigmented eyes, capacious skull with a correct stop, good bite, nice length of neck with well laid-back shoulders, good brisket and rib, short coupled, strong low set hocks, balanced angles, correct yearling coat, moved well. 2 Mann’s Krissendaw Kassia For Flufebustles.

PGB (3 0) 1 Moore’s Mellowdee Do I Love You At Shimorill, loved this quality bitch, she is very feminine with 2 dark brown pigmented eyes, good sized head with correct ear placement and good stop, nice reach of neck, plenty of substance, well angulated rear with good turn of stifle, low set hocks, coat of good quality and colour, moved well, nicely presented. 2 Mellowdee Sapphire Moon avec Meldale JW, litter sister to 1 with lots of the same attributes, slightly darker in coat to 1 at this time, I’m sure they have and will change places at different times, she is well-muscled and moved very well, should also do well. 3 Starjanda Cosmic Dream JW IR JCH, this is another good quality 2 years old bitch, 2 dark eyes, good sized head, good reach of neck, balanced angulation front and rear, coat changing well, moved with drive, very close to first 2.

LB (4 1) Very close between these 3 girls all exhibit excellent qualities just preferred the overall shape of my class winner, 1 Wileman’s Lindisfarm Hope Redeemed ShCEx one needs to have been over this girl to fully appreciate her qualities, walled eyed fully pigmented, wide square skull with correct stop, typical OES expression, good reach of neck, well laid-back shoulders, very deep brisket with well sprung ribs, short coupled with rising topline, plenty of substance, wide strong rear with well let down hocks and good turn of stifle, darker coat, moved well, RBCC 2 Storey’s Twojos Little Miss Diva, quality bitch with strong but feminine head properties, good reach of neck and correct shoulder placement, well sprung ribs and strong well muscled rear, she has balanced angulation which she used to move with drive, mature coat. Well presented. 3 Adams’ Makaylen Magestic Lady, very close to first 2 she is very typical of the breed, plenty of substance, very well muscled rear and a good quality coat, moved well.

OB (4 1) 1 Bell’s Ch. Shaggbo Spectacular Rival With Soulbobs, loved this eye catching, top quality girl, she is as good to go over as she looks from outside of the ring, darkest pigmented eyes, large skull with a square muzzle and good stop, sweet feminine expression, good reach of neck and well laid back shoulders, plenty of bone with excellent rib and brisket, rising topline, strong low set hocks and nice turn of stifle, she has correct balanced angles which she used to move with drive and extension, good coat, shown and presented to perfection, pleased to award her BCC RBIS. 2 Jones’ Ch Quemerford Magic Wish, feminine girl with good head properties, plenty of substance, balanced angulation, excellent coat texture and colour, moved well, 3 Miller’s Ch Mellowdee Fancy Nancy For Millwinkie JW, smaller type, feminine bitch 2 dark brown well pigmented eyes, balanced front and rear, neat low set hocks, moved well.

VB (3 1) 2 quality veteran bitches, 1 Leggett’s Meldale Diamond Moon, 7 years old, loved her overall shape, 2 dark eyes, she has a very feminine expression, good head, neck and shoulder, well sprung rib, balanced front and rear angulation, neat low set hocks, good coat, moved very well. 2 Winson’s Ch Jandoes Cristal Sparkles, 9 years old, bigger type girl but still feminine, very good head properties, very deep brisket and well sprung ribs, all the correct angles, she moved well for a 9 years old veteran.

Judge Richard Churcher
