I’d like to thank the committee for this appointment and the exhibitors for supporting me through their entry. I was pleased with my entry and the qualities on show throughout the day. General Champ shows can be a longer day and being last in the ring took a while before we could get started.

1st Grimshaws Sharpuggles Blow Me Down.

Just over 1 year old apricot dilute. A masculine dog with a good head and expression. Neat ears, a flat skull and good eyes. A good length of neck and good proportions including leg length and characteristic wrinkle. A nice front with width and straight legs. A good bite and sufficient pigmentation tail well carried and set nicely. A pleasing coat texture. Moving soundly in all directions on tight paws.

2nd Gardners Mijujo Flat White.

15 month old brush coated red fawn boy. A keen expression with good eyes and pleasing ears.I would like a bit more body to fully balance him, overall a good upstanding boy with good wrinkle. Tail neat and which is well carried.

1st Butterfields Chequerpei Jive Talkin JW.

Nearly 3 years of age red. A good size and well balanced throughout. Good bone and body giving a square profile with a good dipping top line, depth of good forechest and sufficient neck complete this A good head with great eyes and neat little ears.. A good harsh coat texture. Moving well on the day in all directions.

2nd Dawson Quinnhalo Single Pringle JW.

Just turned 2 fawn. Well balanced with good bone and body. A good broad head with nice eyes and neat ears. Ample bone and body with harsh coat. Moving well in all directions once settled.

1st Sutherland and Bradleys Ch Eki Zimurrak Jolerob When You Smile for Witchgait (Imp Esp).

6 year old red fawn. Excellent temperament and the profile I expect to see with that dipped topline. A dog that’s balanced, square and in proportion with paws landing where they should do. A masculine head with sufficient stop, small neat ears oof good shape, good almond eyes and a good frowning expression completed with pigmentation that we like. He has a harsh coat, a strong neck supported by a good front leading to his well bodied frame and good angulation. He moved well with ease in all directions. A close call for BOB due to his obvious qualities.

2nd Rowlands Jolerob One for The Road to Meixiu.

Nearly 3 years of age red fawn. A masculine boy of good size with breadth to compliment. Neat ears and good eyes with a strong neck. He is well balanced and up on his toes. Moved well in all directions with typical tracking. I preferred the outline of first.

1st Knoxs Wyldette Lilith Never Eve.

Nearly 1 year old red. A very happy square girl with a good profile with a feminine expression. A head of good proportions supported with a strong neck. Neat ears, good eyes and a frowning expression complete her head with good overall proportions. A good depth of body with width maintained. Moved best in profile.

1st Grimshaws Sharpuggles Suck On That.

Just over 1 year old brush coat red. A feminine head and type with good proportions. Great ears and eyes and good width. A good body showing a distinctive wrinkle and dipped topline with a strong neck supported on a well put together front. Well angled legs assisting to move well in all directions.

2nd Gardners Mijujo Costa Fortune.

15 month old red fawn brush coat. A stronger yet still obviously feminine girl with good ears. Well up on toes, square and well balanced with a good dip in topline. A strong neck with maintained body substance.

1st Barratt and Clarkes Witchgait Toast of the Town for Dezellumi.

3 year old red fawn. Obviously a girl with her feminine attributes. Head proportions are good with great small neat ears, a pleasing eye and good expression. Good bone, correct dip in topline and square, a good reach of neck harsh coat with good body and correct spring of rib. Moving well on neat paws.

2nd Pooles Terra Dos Celtas Tell Me Everything at Coatakinti.

3 year old red. Feminine with a clean head of good proportions containing good eyes and neat ears. Good bone, ample body with good width under a dipped topline, overall her body and attributes are well balanced. She moved well on the day.

Veteran Bitch 1

1st Sutherlands Ch Witchgait Just One Slice JW.

A red that’s just into veteran this year. Excellent temperament and the desired breed profile with that dipped topline and a good amount of wrinkle. A very pretty girl who has everything where I’d like it to be. For me, my best mover on the day, coming and going as straight as an arrow and sound in profile. She is balanced throughout. Her strong neck, well bodied frame, good angulation, correct depth and breadth with bone and muscle to compliment. Her head is of proportion with great eyes, frowning expression and neat little ears. She had some of the best pigment on the day, a lot of exhibits had good pigmentation. BOB, BB, BV

Special Beginners Bitch 1

Grimshaws Sharpuggles Hold On Tight.

A very promising red youngster who’s not long out of puppy. A pleasing feminine head with good expression, ears are neat and tidy and good eyes. Well balanced with good bone and sufficient substance. Good reach of neck, short coupled, with a good wrinkle. A pleasing coat texture, moved well when she wanted to move in that direction, she’s busy and active and interested in a lot of what’s going on. This is one to watch in the future once slightly more mature and settled.
