Thankyou so much for the invite to judge my first championship show

Thankyou also to my amazing stewards who kept me and the ring in order

I was very pleased with my entry and appreciate all those who entered under me, I had some lovely dogs and hard decisions

Minor Puppy Dog

 1st Mr M & Mr M Spall & Clarks Llapsttam Luther Vandross

An 8 Month old Ruby who was all boy. He has a masculine face with plenty of cushioning large dark eyes and good pigment. His head leads to a great neck and well laid shoulders, a level topline and a tail well set on. He has good bone and great heart room in his well ribbed chest. He has good angulation front and rear and used that to drive around the ring keeping his level top line and tail flowing out from his back, moving true out and back. He is well furnished with a lovely rich silky coat

2nd Mrs C Gibson’s Toraylac Conrad

This 6 month old Blenheim boy was of a smaller mould than 1st . He had a dark soulful eye, plenty of cushioning and good pigment, a real cutie.At the moment he dips a little in shoulder but he is young and has plenty of growing and tightening up to come. He has well turned stifles and a good tail set. He moved well around the ring with drive and personality

1st Miss L Callaghan & Mr L Todd’s Callyspride Cedric

11 month old Blenheim boy heavier marked with rich chestnut. He is very well presented and shown. He has a soft masculine head with well set ears framing a face with large dark eyes, good pigment and a cushioned muzzle. He has well laid shoulders, ample chest and ribs and good rear angulation. He flowed around the large ring with ease and accuracy keeping his topline and tail level.

2nd Mrs C, Mr A & Miss L Rhodes Calonlan Zeus

This Tri colour boy has such a soft masculine face with dark large eyes, plenty of cushioning and good pigment. His high set ears led to a moderate neck and well laid shoulders. He also had good bone and spring of ribs, well turned stifles, short in loin and a level topline. He moved well around the ring is just a bit looser in front than 1st but sure will tighten up with age.

Junior Dog

1st Mrs K Mcmurrays Chadwick Perfect Tonight at Merryoth (imp USA)

He caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. He is so free flowing on the move and a lovely picture standing. This Blenheim boy has such a lovely head piece. So soft and masculine with soulful large dark eyes, great pigment and plenty of cushioning. He uses his high set ears to frame his face well. His well laid shoulders lead to a level top line and tail set, He has a good spring of rib, good bone overall and well angulated stifles, a little longer in the loin but really doesn’t distract from the overall picture. He flowed around that huge ring with drive, reach, purpose and with animation and personality keeping his topline level and his tail flowing behind him. I was happy to award him the RDCC

2nd Mrs E Williams Charnell The Renegade Sancana

Smaller in stature than first place this Blenheim boys face was full of mischief with large dark eyes, good pigment and cushioning. He has high set ears, a good neck, well laid shoulders and level topline and tail set. He has good angulation and balance and moved well around the ring keeping his topline at all times

Yearling Dog

1st Ms G walker’s Carsan Richie Rich JW

I was captured initially by this dogs fabulous head, so masculine but so soft with dark large eyes, excellent pigment and a plush muzzle framed with fabulous high set well feathered ears. Stood he made a lovely profile, very balanced with a short loin and good angles front and rear. His coat was heavier marked but so silky and shone. Rich tan was all in the right places. He moved well in profile just needs to tighten up a bit on his rear. He has bags of personality and that cheeky look I love.

2nd Mr k,Mr K, Ms M Vorderstrasse, Arrowsmith & Hogans Arrowbien That’s My Boy

17 month old ruby boy with a silky, shining rich coloured well feathered coat.

This boy is a lively lad with big dark expression filled eyes and fantastic pigment his head was less mature than 1st place but rubies are usually slower to mature.

He has good bone and plenty of rib. He has a level top line and tail set and well turned stifles. When settled he covered the ground with ease.

20 month old Blenheim boy who is well marked and rich in colour and of a lovely size

The head piece on this chap was so pretty but in a masculine way. He has such an expression filled face with a hint of mischief in his large dark eyes. His ear set was high and his well feathered leathers framed his lovely well cushioned face. He had a good neck, well laid shoulders, great spring of rib, short loin and well turned stifles

When going around the ring he moved with drive and reach and personality keeping his topline and tail set level I pulled him out for the final cut but his naughtiness brimmed over but im sure he will have his day

2nd Mr M Levy & Mr M Sedgwick’s Pascavale Banksy

Another lovely Blenheim boy only just out of puppy but given time will rise to the top im sure. He is of an ideal size and has a balanced outline as he stood there 4 square.

His head not as mature obviously as 1st place but its all there, lovely dark eyes and pigment and high set ears. His moderate neck led to well laid shoulders, level top line with a tail that came straight off his back. He has good angulation front and rear and he used all this to move out well and easily covered the ring keeping that lovely shape and his topline level. He is another boy that will have a bright future

2 year old rich coloured ruby boy with bags of personality, He has a soft expression with super large dark eyes, a well cushioned muzzle and his high set ears framed this lovely face. He is a lovely size and is well balanced. His ample neck led to well laid shoulders, good rib, short loin and level topline and tail set and well angulated stifles. He moved when settled with drive and reach and that little bit of naughty which showed off his fun personality

2nd Miss A Bubb’s Wandris Speak of the Devil

2 year old Blenheim boy larger in cast than 1st, His coat is well broken with rich chestnut, He has a soft masculine face with a large dark eye , cushioned muzzle and excellent pigment. He has a moderate arched neck and well laid shoulders, He has a good spring of rib , slightly longer in loin that 1st with well turned stifles and a good tail set. He covered the ring easily and with drive

Such a lively 22 month old boy with a great personality. This Blenheim’s coat is marked well and is rich in colour, He has a very sweet masculine face with dark eyes and good pigment. He has good shoulders and well turned stifles and a level topline. When settled he moved with reach, drive and plenty of that personality keeping his topline and tail set level

2nd Miss Jackson’s Fortunamajor Perseus Jw

23 month old tri colour boy heavier marked with rich tan in the right places and presented well. He has a soft masculine face with dark eyes, a well cushioned muzzle and great pigment. He has a good neck, well laid shoulders and a level topline and tail set. He moved well in profile just flew his tail today

Heavier Marked Tri coloured boy groomed and handled to perfection. He has a masculine face with dark eyes, good pigment, a well cushioned muzzle and rich tan. His ample neck led to a well laid shoulder, a level topline and tail set. He has a well sprung rib and good bone. He moved out precisely and moved around the ring easily covering the ground with his drive and reach

This class was full of quality

This 2 year old Blenheim boy caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. His size, balance and personality just captured me, He is all boy. Starting with his absolutely beautiful head ! so masculine but soft and mischievous at the same time! He had that sparkle in his dark soulful large eyes im used to seeing from my sofa!

He has plenty of cushioning in his muzzle and used his high set ears perfectly to frame that lovely face. His skull is almost flat and leads to an arched neck down to well laid shoulders, plenty of heart room, well sprung ribs, level topline with tail well set on. He flowed elegantly around the ring not only with reach and accuracy but with all that personality I love to see. I was more than happy to award him the DCC and BOB and was happy to see he was shortlisted in a strong group

2 year old black and tan boy with plenty of raven black coat and rich tan. He has large dark eyes and fabulous pigment. His ears are set high and frame his masculine sweet face. He has ample of neck and well laid shoulders. He has a good rib spring a level topline and his tail is well set on. He has well turned stifles and looks a picture standing four square. He moves well covering the ring with ease keeping that level topline and tail set all the time he moves

4 year old Ruby boy, rich in colour and well furnished. His head is masculine with large dark eyes and good pigment and cushioning. His well set ears lead to a great neck and well laid shoulders . He has plenty of bone and a good spring of rib. He moved easily around the large ring with good reach keeping his topline and tailset level.

2nd Miss B & Mrs S Ree’s Ch Embeth Rock the Boat

Well marked Blenheim boy with a lovely soft masculine face and soulful dark eyes , great pigment and cushioning framed with well set ears. He has a good spring of rib, level topline and is short in loin with good angulated stifles. I have seen this boy move better than today but he still covered the ring and drove from the rear

Veteran Dog

1st Mr A & Mrs C Rhodes Calonlan Café Noir

Such a happy 9 year old boy sporting a little grey which added to his charm. He had huge eyes that were so dark and lots of cushioning. He had ample neck a level topline and tail set . A great spring of rib and well turned stifles. This old boy covered the ring with ease driving and reaching like a boy half his age.

7 Month old Blenheim girl that is very pretty. She has large dark eyes, good cushioning and fab pigment with high set ears framing a feminine sweet face.

She is well marked and rich in colour, she stands four square and is a great size and has good bone. She is really attentive to her owner. Her ample neck leads to well laid shoulders, a good spring of rib, great topline and tail set and good rear angulation. She moves well covering the ground with drive just needs tightening up on the front but shes only a baby so plenty of time for that

Another great sized petite girl a little less mature than 1st. Such a rich ruby coat and a pretty feminine head. She is very balanced and has lovely dark large eyes and great pigment, She uses her high earset well. She also was very attentive to her owner and looked a balanced picture standing and with ample neck , good shoulders, topline and tail set and well turned stifles. She moved well coming and going and around the ring

This black and tan girl took my eye instantly. Her presentation was immaculate, her coat gleamed raven black. Her head is so soft and feminine with large soulful cheeky dark eyes, plenty of cushioning and a great ear set, she is pretty as a picture.

She stands four square and is of a great size and balance with good bone and presence. She has well laid shoulders , a good spring of ribs , short loin and well turned stifles. She moved away and toward with accuracy and around the ring easily and with animation keeping with her level top line and tail set. I was happy to award her BPB & BPIB

Tri Colour girl with a lovely head, very soft and feminine. Large dark eyes and good tan and pigment with high set ears. She held a balance picture standing with a level topline and tail set and well turned stifles. She was a little bit unsettled but when she settled she moved well around the ring

I would like to see a bit more animation but she moved really well with accuracy keeping a level topline and tail set

Another pretty and personality filled girl this time in black and tan. Her coat is raven black with a rich tan. She has a feminine sweet head that is all there framed with high set long ears. This 4 year old Ruby girl just captured me as she entered the ring. She oozes femininity in every way without any exaggeration Starting with her head She has a sweet alert feminine expression that sparkled. Her huge dark soulful eyes were rimmed with black pigment, enough cushioning in her muzzle all framed with well used high set ears. She is so balanced and a fabulous size for a bitch. Her ample neck led to her well laid shoulders, good spring of rib , short loin and well turned stifles. She moved with ease, accuracy, reach and drive in all directions, up on her toes and with so much personality and sparkle. She really was a picture of femininity and elegance. I was happy to award her the BCC

She has good body and great angulation front and rear. She has a level top line and her tail is well set on. She looks a picture flowing around the ring with drive, reach and elegance. Another really pretty head on this 4 year old Blenheim girl. She had less furnishings and lighter in colour than 1st. She has such a pretty soulful face, dark eyes , great pigment and good cushioning. She is also well angulated front and rear with a level top line and tail set and well turned stifles. She moved around the ring with reach, drive and accuracy. I think these girls could swap on a different day

My first words written was ‘This old gals on fire! This 9 year old Ruby girl is so feminine and of a lovely size. She has huge feminine and soulful dark eyes rimmed with black. She has great cushioning in her muzzle with just an essence of grey which adds to her charm. All this is framed with well feathered high set ears. She has a rich ruby coat and is in such good condition. A good neck leads to her well laid shoulders, good spring of rib, short loin and well turned stifles. She has so much personality and sparkle. When she moved she gave a lot of the young ones a run for their money. She has reach and drive all ways and showed herself off perfectly. I was so happy to give her the RBCC and BV

Another Veteran girl that gives the young ones a run for their money. A raven coated and rich tan girl who just exudes happiness. She is a lovely size and shape. Such a joyful feminine face with huge dark eyes. She has well laid shoulders a good spring of rib, short loin and well turned stifles . She moved round the ring with reach and drive and animation she really brought a smile to my face.
