PUPPY DOG Entries: 1 Abs: 0
1st Hart’s Gilliegrae So Berry Excited. 7mth and very raw but very promising puppy with lots to like. He has a good overall shape, a pleasing head with well set ears and dark eyes. A good length of neck flows into very well made forequarters, well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and developing forechest. Deep ribs and loin under a level back through to a good tailset and a moderate rear. Not moving well today, his handler needs to relax and get the speed right but he showed enough to win Best Puppy.
GRADUATE DOG Entries: 1 Abs: 0
1st Holgate’s Hodgehall Don't Stop Me Now with Rogansrock. A 2yr old that still has lots of maturing to do. Very good head shape and proportions, well set ears and lovely dark eyes giving a kind expression. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders and return of upper arm but lacks forechest. Straight front with good bone, feet OK. Correct depth of chest and spring of rib, perhaps a little long through the loin and moderate in rear angulation but he is true and easy on the move with reach and drive.

1st Green’s Flores Henry Tudor by Viszaset. 5yrs and presents a pleasing outline. Lovely dark eyes and well set ears. Good length of neck into very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and a prominent sternum. Well sprung ribs and chest reaching to elbows. Short muscular loin to nicely angulated rear with width of ham and turn of stifle. Moves true and easy with reach and drive, correct tail carriage and looked even better when he brought his head up a little.

1st Tait’s Sh Ch Talintyre Winter Shadow. I have watched this 5yr old grow and so pleased I was able to judge him today. Gorgeous head of correct shape, masculine yet with a soft expression from his dark eyes and correct ears. Clean neck into super forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and forechest. Straight well boned front and well arched feet. Deep chest under a level topline through to a well angulated rear with a good turn of stifle, lovely width of ham & short rear pasterns. Correct tail set and carriage. On the move he is true with reach and drive. I thought he would be my BOB until his mother stole the limelight. Dog CC and Best Opposite Sex
2nd Catton & Cook’s Daithi Shadow Dog with Ferngate (Imp Pol). This 6yr old is maturing nicely and is much more together that when I last judged him. Pleasing head with dark eyes and correctly set ears. Clean neck into well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm but I would like more forechest. A well boned, straight front. Correct spring of rib and depth of chest, muscular loin to a well angulated rear. Level topline and correct tailset. His movement has come on in leaps and bounds, today he was fluid with reach and drive.
3rd Taylor’s Laoirebay Monte Carlo. 7yr old with a lovely head, dark eyes and well set ears. Strong clean neck into well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm and enough forechest. Deep well sprung ribs and muscular loin to lovely rear angles, well muscled with good width of ham. Unfortunately, he was not moving well today, erratic for and aft but in profile he had good reach and drive but had his head down which spoilt his outline. Didn’t look happy.
VETERAN DOG Entries: 3 Abs: 0

2nd Tattersall & Jones’ Sh Ch Carrick Shadow Dog at Alanea (Imp Pol). Another 7yr old but of different type to the winner. Broad skull of good length, muzzle shorter, dark eyes and well set ears. Well made forequarters with enough forechest, good bone and straight front. Deep well sprung ribs, strong loin through to a moderate rear. Clean behind with moderate reach and drive.

PUPPY BITCH Entries: 2 Abs: 0
10 month sisters.
1st O’Kelly & Hancock’s Coolfin The Ecstasy of Gold at Caradilis. Heavier build than her sister, head typical of the line, of good proportions with dark hazel eyes and well set ears. Lovely neck into very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and good forechest. Deep ribs and loin but needs a little more substance across the loin. Well angled rear with good width of ham and turn of stifle. Fluid easy mover, true with reach and drive.
2nd Jakin’s Coolfin Baltic Turn The Page. Built on finer lines to her sister, I prefer her head, feminine with dark eyes and a ‘naughty’ expression. Well laid shoulders and return of upper arm but not the forechest of the winner. Well sprung ribs of good depth through to a deep loin. Moderate rear angles and unsettled on the move.

1st Tait’s Sh Ch Talintyre Winter Spice. Preferred the overall shape & type of this 5yr old. Good head shape & proportions with dark hazel eyes. Strong neck into very well made forequarters with good forechest. Level topline over deep well sprung ribs, short loin to a well angled rear. Fluid true mover with reach and drive.
2nd Tattersall’s Alanea Silhouette. Another quality B, different shape being shorter through body. Pleasing head with dark eyes, short strong neck to well laid shoulders, would like more forechest. Deep well sprung ribs, short loin and level topline. Moderate rear angles. Moved well but not as smooth as the winner.
VETERAN BITCH Entries: 1 Abs: 0
1st Tait’s Sh Ch Lovenjoel Sleeping Beauty. I have waited years to judge this B and she did not disappoint. Now 10 yrs old she excels in so many areas. Super head, feminine, dark eyes and well set ears. Good length of neck into super forequarters, well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and lovely forechest. Level topline to correct tailset over deep, well sprung ribs. Lovely length of loin to a super rear, good width of ham, well muscled & a good turn of stifle.
On the move she is a joy to watch, true from all angles with reach and drive. In the challenge she commanded attention and could not be denied Bitch CC, Best of Breed & Best Veteran.
