National Terrier Club

Breed: Cesky Terrier

My thanks must go to the National Terrier club for their kind invitation to award my first

set of CC’s to the Ceskys and a special mention to my very able stewards, Hazel and

Joanne, as their help was invaluable. I was quite humbled by the large, quality entry and I

thank the exhibitors. With the exception of one misplaced tooth, all bites were correct.

1st: BURRAGE, Mr & Mrs D & L Ch Komidion Prima Donna Of Sametova ShCEx VW, what a

way to start the day! Looking at earlier notes I can see I have judged her on a previous

occasion and my notes from then still apply. She is a stunning grey at 9 years, she so classy

and very well presented. She has a very typy head with a pleasing expression and ears in

the right place. She has a decent front, is good for topline and ribs well sprung, powering

with her quarters she moves with that brisk action the standard calls for. Very pleased to

award her top honours. CC & BV.

2nd: THOMSON, Mrs Daveena & FORBES, Miss Caitlin Penny Euphoriastaff Houska With

Karensbrae (imp Pol), at 7 years this dark grey is a very good make and shape. With

presentation par excellence; she has a beautiful coat; she looked a picture. Feminine head,

strong neck and good shoulders, although not quite the musculature of 1st

1st: BURRAGE, Mr & Mrs D & L Lojza Garex (Cze Imp) this pale grey is still very much a raw

baby at 9 months. He has everything in the right place for his age, he just needs to settle

as not really happy with all the noise in the big hall; time is on his side.

1st: BISHOP, Mrs Wendy Ulmo Bohemia Des Hauteurs De La Sole At Kyntilly. Rising 2 years,

this youngster has an appealing outline. He has a masculine head, but not overdone, lovely

reach of neck, good topline & tailset. He’s good for size and musculature but moving a

touch wide behind.

1st: WESTON, Miss L Wherrypoint Engelbert, this very dark grey has a smashing coat in

excellent order with a silky sheen, it’s like looking in a mirror. He has a dark eye, strong

neck and has a medium length to his body which has a good topline and strength in loin.

His excellent musculature powered him around the ring.

2nd: BISHOP, Mrs Wendy Moraira Abel At Kyntilly, he has a good length to his head, dark

eye and ok for front and shoulders. He is exceptionally well muscled and this

demonstrated on the move, showing good gait.

3rd: HARRIS, Mrs G Kessima One And Only

1st: TOBIJANSKI, Mrs W Ch Janski O'rolox JW, what a cracking dog. He has a super head

with a dark eye and well-placed ears. His neck has strength and length which leads into

muscular, well laid shoulders. Just right for size and shape, he’s good for bone, topline and

tailset and has super powerful upper thighs which propelled him with a driving action. His

coat and conditioning is out of the top drawer. What a dog, I could have taken him home.

CC & BOB

2nd: TAYLOR, Mrs P Ch Oural Du Champ D'Eole (Imp Fra), built along the same lines as 1st

this lad really impressed,. He has a marvellous head, dark eye, is good for ribbing and

pleasing angulation at both ends. His coat is in superb order and is good for furnishings.

Sound as a pound on the move and although not quite the ring presence of 1, more than

happy to award him the Res CC.

1st: TOBIJANSKI, Mrs W Janski Zara Zipporah, my notes say “wouldn’t be the least bit

surprized if she is the daughter of my dog CC winner”. Like peas in a pod, just a feminine

version. Schooled to perfection, performed like a pro! At 17 months she has a little more

maturing to do but I will watch her progress with interest.

2nd: THOMSON, Mrs Daveena & FORBES, Miss Caitlin Penny Karensbrae Beebop, a shapely

youngster at 17 months. Feminine head, good angulation at both ends and moved well.

Not the presentation of 1.

1st: MARETT, Mrs C V Foxprims Marble Arch Avec Gayteckels. I have judged this feminine

19 months young lady on a previous occasion and can see she is coming along nicely. The

same remarks apply, she has a super head & eye, good length of neck, muscular all

through and moving with that briskness required.

LB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: DUKES, Mrs Ruth & RODGERS, Miss Megan Runiks Akreepa Of Dragons, fantastic bitch,

loved her outline and attitude. She has a dark eye, neat ears, elegant neck and good front

assembly. She has a muscular loin with a slight rise, strong upper thighs and sturdy hocks.

Moving off with briskly with drive, happy to award her the Res CC.

2nd: HARRIS, Mrs G Kessima Once In A Life Time, outstanding grooming and presentation

on this rather attractive girl, although not quite the femineity of 1. Good length to her

head with a dark eye, ample bone and muscular all through, decent ribbing and moving

well.

3rd: PRATT, Mrs Wendy Proxima Centauri

OB (7 Entries) Abs:

What a super class, quality right the way through.

1st: FEWINGS, Mrs S J Komidion Rhapsody In Ryme, what excellent type this bitch is, she

screams Cesky. Another I have judged before and the same remarks apply, super head,

well placed ears, neck clean and forequarters good with ample bone. She has a gentle rise

over loin and a muscular back end. Unfortunately, just not the drive of my two principal

winners today.

2nd: DUKES, Mrs Ruth & RODGERS, Miss Megan Ch Placido Musical Miracle At Runiks,

another beauty out of the top drawer. Most attractive headpiece with a dark eye, good

pigment and neat ears. Well-proportioned throughout and moving well, all topped off with

excellent conditioning and presentation.
