ESSEX & EASTERN COUNTIES BOXER CLUB 7 SEPTEMBER 2025 – PAULINE LUXMOORE-BALL

I was both honoured and delighted to judge at this fabulous show. The officers and committee

obviously worked extremely hard. The judges gifts were fabulous and I’ll definitely be using my Gin

glass going forward! A great friend and mentor of mine, Di Johnson, pushed me to judge the breed

and it was very sad that she wasn’t here to see me judge this show. I would like to thank the

exhibitors and show staff for all the support they gave me throughout the day. I had some smashing

dogs to go over, and some close decisions had to be made.

BABY PUPPY DOG 5,0

Not an easy task judging Boxers at this age due to varying stages of development. However, it was

lovely to see such promising youngsters.

1st 31 – Mair’s Lorrosa Dizzy Rascal at Glanauld

6mths. Beautiful head on this baby with super under jaw for age. Good size and balance, with

correct skull to muzzle ratio. Correct stop. Clean eyes of a nice shape and colour. Has a lovely reach

of neck for a baby. Conformation is lovely, beautifully square with good bone. Super prospect both

standing and on the move. BBPIS

2nd 11 – Fay-Smiths’ Lorrosa Keeping it Real

5mths. Nicely angulated front and rear. Lovely head, although not so developed as 1, but shows

promise. Moved out nicely, driving nicely from behind. Full of himself, and as you’d want from a

baby, enjoying his day.

3 rd 34 – McCarthy & Gething’s Jeddhi Oh Danny Boy

Overall balance is okay. Head needs to develop but nice make and shape. Lovely in profile, nice neck.

One to watch with interest.

BABY PUPPY BITCH 4,0

1 st 24 Kuech’s Mellhawk Coachella for Boese

5mths. Nicely angulated front and rear, with lovely reach of neck. Pretty bitch with lovely eye, good

muzzle and underjaw. Good chest for her age. Although taking a while to settle on the move, she

showed enough quality to win a very nice class of babies.

2 nd 25 Lay’s Lottalove Flower Queen for Swiftwood

5mths. Pretty bitch, with nice eye, good muzzle. Square and lovely in profile. Good reach of neck.

Handling could be better and would certainly improve her placings going forward.

3 rd 10 Fay-Smith’s Lorrosa Keeping Faith

Lovely baby overall. Nice dark eye. Good head and neck. Sufficient bend in stifle. Still very immature

on the move.

VETERAN DOG 3,0
