MPD (4,1a) 1 Carter’s Lindenwood Cast A Spell at Madarkutya, this promising youngster is not quite 7 months old yet but he is just right for age, his head is a good shape but just needs maturity to finish but a kind eye, well set ears & good head proportions, nice forequarters with a well placed shoulder, good topline & well set tail, good hindquarters. When he settled, he moved well to take the class. Just now needs to grow into his frame to complete the picture, but he showed well for a baby; 2 Senior, Brett-Williams & Porfido De Lucia’s Hanalei Suns Out Guns Out for Alaszdale, another who is an interesting prospect, slightly older than 1 but he just needs time to mature & for his head to finish for he has a lovely expression & is very typical, well boned legs & feet & an excellent hindquarters used both set up & moving with ease, again loose in front but that will come with age; 3 Challis’ Vizslanya Sarkany. PD (5,2) 1 Layton’s Layways All About You, what a difference a month makes in this breed, this young man is nearly 10 months & his progress is there for all to see. He is well muscled, balanced & quality all through, he is just right for size & proportions with lovely bone, pasterns & feet, good depth of chest coming & a good topline with a well set & carried tail. When he moved, he carried his head correctly & covered the ground with ease & good footfall. No mistaking his sex, he is very masculine in outlook with a beautiful head & expression that says ‘Vizsla’ with a correct shaped & coloured eye & a good ear length. BPD & BP overall; 2 L Cast A Spell at M; 3 V Sarkany. JD (2,1) 1 Newton’s Nevedith Thunder Bolt, very typical of the breed, has so many good points that he caught my eye in the challenge for his correctness. He is just right for age, balanced with a masculine head & expression, lovely eye of the correct shape & colour, good ears, lovely neck & shoulders, good topline & well developed loin leading into a well set & carried tail, well muscled hindquarters, good depth & width of ribcage, good forequarters & correct pastern & moderate bone as called for. When he moved, he came alive & moved with such ease & correct foot placement to please me. So pleased to judge him & gave him the RCC. YD (3,2) 1 Challis’ Vizslanya Domenkos JW, alone here but still showed well. Would prefer a lighter russet colour for my preference but he has a typical outline, masculine head & expression with eyes of the correct colour & shape with well set ears, good neck, shoulder placement ok, enough front & correct moderate bone & pastern, good depth & width of chest, enough hindquarters, moved OK on well boned feet of the correct shape, masculine in outlook. ND (2) 1 Cavaye’s Goviz Spring Tide, masculine head & expression, took time to settle but when he did, he made a good effort to get the best from the dog, enough neck & shoulder leading into a good strong topline & well set & carried tail, front OK, good overall proportions & a good size, pleasing coat & colour, when he moved & settled, he moved well; 2 V Sarkany, nice head & expression, good eye of the correct colour & shape, good body proportions but would prefer stronger hindquarters today as this also affected his movement, he was a bit loose all through on the move but he is still very young, so hopefully this can be improved. Champion D (4,1) 1 Watkins & Kain’s Sh Ch Kincsem Break Every Rule JW, when he walked in I just knew he would be the one to beat, so very typical, quality all through, he gave me goosebumps just moving across to his place in the line-up. When I set them off to move together, I just couldn’t stop smiling to myself as he was everything that I wanted in a Vizsla. Why did he remind me of an early Russetmantle dog? I don’t know, but it was like going back to Gay’s time and looking at dogs & pedigrees with her all those years ago. This boy is sound all through with an excellent neck & shoulders, correct topline, tailset & hindquarters, he moves on well boned legs & feet covering the ground with ease with the correct head carriage & no wasted effort, his proportions are spot on with the depth & length of chest I wanted & an excellent loin to connect front & back. How could I not love his head & expression, his eyes of the correct shape & colour gave that correct expression for the breed. Thrilled to meet him for the first time, thank you for bringing him for me to see.
