LONG COAT CHIHUAHUAS
MPD 5
1 Holland-Smith’s Kirdanchi All That Jazz
Fawn/Sable 9 months on the day and a good result for his last MP class. Precocious young dog with a perky expression. Good ears set on handsome head with excellent balance of skull to muzzle. Tidy body with well laid shoulders, deep brisket and well constructed hind quarters. Best mover in the class and I enjoyed seeing him circle the ring with proud head carriage, straight topline and a self assured tail carriage. Spot on for size and soft furnishings coming in nicely. He took it all in his stride. One headed for the top I wager.Best Puppy in Breed
2 Fairbairn’s Tidos Interloper
Couple of months younger. Ideal size and his head appealed with large eyes, rounded skull and defined stop. Ears sizeable and set on at the required angle. A cheeky chap with a waggy personality who threw himself into his showing and was doing it his way. Needs to settle in front action.

1 Tan’s El Diablo Right Royal
11 months old. Another quality puppy. Eyes full of attitude set in handsome head topped with large well placed ears, pronounced stop and finished with tapered muzzle. Scored for balanced outline with cocky deportment and high set tail carried correctly. Looked good in profile and was just as impressive up and down. Nice coat coming through.
2 Robson’s Tidos Dark Destroyer
Smart 8 months old who stepped out with confidence. Giving away three months in age and was obviously less developed than winner especially in head and expression. Ears, eyes and tail satisfied. Balanced conformation and the correct height to length ratio was there. Should mature nicely.

1 Sparrow’s Casarow’s Albakirkkey JW
Nice looking, Cream/ Sable, 14 months old. Took a bit of settling but what I saw I liked and he had most of the breed points I was after. Quite the pin up and a glamorous boy with a lovely head piece. Big ears. Neat body and his good construction came into play on the move. Sound rear and decent front. I liked him but he wasn’t so sure he liked me. Well worth persevering as he has such a lot to offer and appreciate. Super coat quality.

1 Heap & Palmer’s Chirouxe Little Things Maciendas
Correctly sized Red/ Sable who had great appeal. Lovely to handle with a friendly disposition. Fearless expression with face features making typical head with apple dome, deep stop, lean cheeks and tapered muzzle. Impressive mover with tidy front and good rear action. Carried himself proudly around the ring with an up and over tail. Quality coat. Am sure he will go on to do more useful winning.
2 Gilling’s Rubyanlo Tommy Hilfiger of Talocan JW
Alert little Gold/Sable showing great style as he paraded briskly around the ring. Fetching face features with super eyes, large ears and correct stop. Tidy make and shape. Appeared a tad heavy around the neck but carries a large ruff. Smart little dog.

1 Heap & Palmer’s Maciendas Ra
Confident Cream/Sable with such a pretty outlook. Very Chihuahua with typical features. Good mix of type and soundness and very pleasing in outline no lumps or bumps .. all blended nicely to give a fluid side view. Moved in an energetic fashion with good action going and coming. Quality dogs from these exhibitors.
2 Toid-McCoid’s Rubyanlo Dream Boy
Smart tricolour with dreamy head piece. Rounded skull, large ears that were up all the time, flat cheeks and tapered muzzle, all fitted the bill. Spot on for size and he had a fluent outline with neck shoulders and top line blending seamlessly. Self important swagger and a close call for 1st. Winner went just a touch smoother on the move but he left a good impression.

1 Sangster’s Ch Kirlasidh Young Pretender JW
Blessed with good looks this Fawn/Sable/White boy had super breed type. Lots of glamour and shown in plush coat in pristine condition. Pretty rounded head with broad skull and splayed ears. His looks aren’t his only strength, he can move. Well put together with a fluid outline and he covered the ground easily in a brisk fashion. Plenty of feathering on ears, feet, legs skirt and tail. I had him in mind when he returned to the challenge but he got fed up and switched off. Had to make do with the RCC.
2 Huntley’s Bramvers Eckerman (Imp Jpn)
Nicely put together little dog who presented a classic outline and made a strong effort to win class. Big eyes, large ears set well apart. Apple dome. Plenty of gumption on the move and he was impressive with head high and tail up and carried over. Not in such good coat as 1

Three splendid veteran boys .. 10.5, 11.5 and a baby 7 year old. Lovely to see how nimble they all were.
1 Hargreaves’ Tha Ch Winchi's Noah Anou
At the end of judging the males, this smart Fawn/Cream veteran saw off the younger competition and was my choice for the CC plus Best Veteran in Breed. Fully deserving and his virtues are many. Size, shape and sound movement twinned with breed type and super temperament. He filled all those. An attentive showman who happily stood to show off his outline and was light on his feet with excellent posture and correct tail carriage going around. His expression was gentle with large, round dark eyes. A soft coat with good length was the icing and he showed his socks off.
2 Parker & Bowen-Parker’s Chantico's Shooting Star Amid Parkbow
Bright eyed and bushy tailed. Such a lovely face and expression. He trotted round the ring showing no signs of stiffening joints or wear and tear. Nicely coated and from his happy demeanour he was glad to be there. A sweetheart.
3 Symon’s Bramerita Here's Trouble at Charabri
Good Citizen Dog 1
1 Bramerita Here's Trouble at Charabri
7 year old Black/Cream boy with good ring manners…did all that was asked. Agreeable head and expression and ears were well placed and skull rounded. Coat was soft to the touch and in nice condition. Liked his body shape and he stepped out with purpose. Clearly likes to please ….. very attentive.

1 Huntley’s Jahneemahs Go Blonde
Promising Cream baby. Assertive attitude and her size and substance appealed. Good breed features in head with lovely eyes, big ears flayed and set to allow width to skull. Scores in outline which she happily showed off standing. Flat topline and good tail. Soft coat. At 8 months her foundations are sound. Good potential.
2 Hargreaves’ Tampico Lunar Eclipse NAF
Was late to the class but settled quickly. A cute headed Cream/Black sable. Hands on she felt good and did not disappoint on the move. Ears and tail were in good use the whole time and she was keen. Deep chested with adequate bone. Went through her paces willingly. Same age as winner and they will have fun going head to head in the future

1 Silverstein’s Bramerita If I Ain't Got You for Silverchi
Only 11 months old yet this youngster showed style and poise way beyond her years. Lovely head properties with sizeable eyes and large ears. The fun side showed in her pert expression with a glint of mischief. Attractive balanced outline and standing she kept catching my eye. Moved well in all directions and in the challenge she never put a foot wrong. Lovely to see the surprise on her owner’s face when presented with the RCC. Best Puppy Bitch came with it. Loads of promise.
2 Bielena’s Daiquiri Dream Right Royal
Smart cream who checked many of the Breed boxes for head, large ears, eyes, tail set. Coordinated and stylish on the move with proud head carriage. Firm back and tidy tail over back. Sound.

Litter sisters stood 1st and 2nd. 15 months old and they shared many of the same strengths. Good size, large ears, big round eyes. Level toplines. Good angulation. Sweet natured and lively. Winner had the edge on maturity and was more precise in her movement.

1 Holland-Smith’s Kirdanchi Le Ballet Giselle JW
The sweetest of faces on this Cream. Such a gentle outlook with large dark eyes, defined stop and apple headed. Carried a wealth of soft coat that added to her attraction but her outline was not masked by her furnishings. Nice neck, good lay of shoulder and firm topline. Good drive from the rear just needed steadying in front. Nicely turned out.
2 Lee’s Ridgehawk Shenna Girl
Petite Gold/white who although not in her Sunday best had much to offer. Head was typical with big expressive eyes and rounded skull. Ear set good. Showed off a good outline both standing and on the move. Well turned stifles. Loved her playfulness

1 Entwistle’s Dorenty Textututango
The close relationship this exhibitor has with her dogs is nice to see. She brings out their best and they respond well. Cream only 16 month old with an assured future. Open faced expression with a hint of devil may care. Well put together and all body parts were assembled creating an eye catching outline. Looked the part circling the ring with sickle tail. Short hocks and strong parallel rear movement. A tad untidy coming towards me.
2 Day’s Monicachi Blue You Away
Very eye catching Black/cream that I would like to have seen in full coat. Very appealing. Had the prettiest of heads. Such a gentle outlook with big eyes, super large rounded ears and good apple dome. Neat body shape. Her balance was spot on. Showed and moved with typical Chihuahua sparkle.

CC and Best of Breed
This 2 year old Fawn and Cream looked fabulous. Very glam. Bright as a button and well named as she sparkled. Quite the exhibitionist and she stood happily showing off her crisp outline. Quality in head with apple dome, eyes, ears, defined stop and short muzzle all adhered to the Standard. Felt good on the table. Everything in place. Solid body with good ribs. On the floor she moved with purpose and her head and tail were up giving a lovely profile. Presented in super condition. Held all the cards and I was delighted to award her CC and Best of Breed
2 Bielena’s Misty Meadow's Morning Glory
Almost two and this Cream drew my attention. A pretty girl with rounded head with broad skull, impressive ears and eyes that held the impertinent look that is so typical. Imposing outline and such a good mover. Covered the ground in a brisk fashion. Hard to get past 1 in present form but she gave it her best shot. Coat and ring presentation were faultless. Very biddable and a willing show girl. Had great ring presence and in my consideration for the top awards. My preference was for the expression of 1.

1 Holland-Smith’s Oozora Queen of Mystery JW
Completed a trio of pretty girls shown by this exhibitor. All won their classes.
7 years old Red/Sable presented in excellent coat in tip top condition. A previous bad experience has stayed with her and from time to time she remembered. Was not totally comfortable when stood but pulled herself together on the move and raised her tail into position. Face is her fortune and will always get her noticed. Wonderful expressive eyes, marked stop, short tapered muzzle. Ears angled nicely. Very feminine. Well constructed and could move …just some reservations stops her giving her all.
2 Robson’s Ch/jap Ch Go My Way Jp's Sherry Gold with Tidos (Imp Jpn)
Another appealing golden oldie. This one 8 years old. A good size with a switched on attitude using her ears well. Fluid outline from head to tail and a willing showgirl. Preferred head and expression of winner.
Good Citizen Dog 2
Two half sisters sharing same sire. Winner came 4th in good Limit class.
1 Symon’s Jotolemar Time for A Change at Charabri
Rather lacking in furnishings and because of this looked a lot younger than her four years. What coat she had was soft. A sweet natured girl whose balanced outline appealed. Girly face with domed skull, dark eyes. Medium neck lead into decent shoulders. Well ribbed. Movement was sound with a brisk free flowing action.
