Thank you to both Paignton committee for inviting me and my very able stewards for keeping the ring running smoothly. It was a modest entry but no surprise in the current climate. However I was pleased with my winners and felt my BOB represented the breed well in the group later in the day
Special Beginners Dog or Bitch (2,1)
1st: Lamport’s Glenbrows Hopefullness. A happy girl who thoroughly enjoyed her time in the ring. She has a pretty feminine head, lovely bone and a good length of neck. She is a little longer in body than I would like but she did look balanced when stood. Moved well. Best Special Beginners in Breed
Minor Puppy Dog (1,0)
1st: Knowles’ Menstonia Endurance.8 ½ month old puppy. Fabulous bone and feet. Lovely head and expression. Enough length to neck. Front well made and good rear angulation.in lovely coat and condition. Moved well if a little eratic at times. Has plenty of time on his side.
Puppy Dog:(3,1)
1st: Harrison’s Glenbrows Turn Back Time. Very smart puppy who looked a picture when stood. Lovely bone, pleasing head and expression. Lovley length of neck, balanced outline. Would have liked a little more confidence on the move but that will come. Shown in lovely coat and condition. Just felt today he had the more positive rear action than my winner of minor puppy
2nd: Menstonia Endurance
Junior Dog ( 3,1)
1st: Jackson, Ritchie & Jackson’s Slapestones Diminico. Young dog who is starting to mature and come together on the move. Pleasing head, good neck, liked his angles front and back.has very good rear angulation and drive. Has good bone and is in lovely coat and body condition. Put on a good performance for his handler and fully reserved his reserve CC today.
2nd: Mercer’s Amblelight Oleander. A little apprehensive today and not so happy on the move. However presented a nice outlone when stood, has excellent bone and shown in lovely coat
Yearling Dog (2,0)
1st: Slapestones Diminico
2nd: Dimond & White’s Nyliram Poker Face at Roxdale. A nice boy who just needs to mature in body and build his confidence in the ring.slightly longer in Loin than I would like but more body when will improve his body proportions. Particularly liked his bone and excellent rear angulation.
Limit Dog (3,0)
1st: Harrison’s Glenbrows Amadeus JW. Presented a fully mature picture of a balanced WSS dog. Loved his head and expression , another with good bone and feet. Excellent length of neck. Good angles front and back, has a really good ben of stifle. He moves with drive and is very sound. However I would like more confidence and more use of tail. Saying that his footfall is true and he fully deserved the CC today. Shown in immaculate coat and condition.
2nd: Nicoll,Nicoll & Nicoll’s Benoveor Sail On to Antreth JW.Another who looks a little longer caste on the stack but lots to like, pleasing head, enough neck, good bone, mature in body. A little loose in front today but moved happily with drive.
3rd: Stone & Stone’s Kidenoan Mark Time For Merrem JW

1st: Nicoll,Nicoll & Nicoll’s Benoveor The Guardian For Antreth VW.10 yr old who moved so well for his age. Lovely head and expression, mature body, topline a little soft. Lovley bone anf feet. Well angled rear end. A happy boy who enjoyed his time in the ring

Minor Puppy Bitch (2,0)
1st: Knowles’ Menstonia Endless Mist. Litter sister to minor puppy dog winner. Pretty feminine head,good length to neck, body well balanced. Correctly made front and back. Good bone and feet. Moved positively.
2nd: Dimond’s Roxdale Drink Up Thy Zider with Ceryspring. Very immature baby but has plenty of time on her side. Currently Looking a little long but I m sure as she matures and grows on this will balance out. Particularly liked her rear angulation. Needs to settle on the move.
Puppy Bitch (4,0)
1st: Harrison’s Glenbrows Timeless. At first look a really lovely puppy who did not disappoint to go over. Loved her head and expression, good length of neck, balanced throughout good bone and feet. Well made front and back. A very happy sound mover. Best puppy in breed.
2nd: Lewin’s Santallina Olympic Flame. Well bodied youngster. Good bone feet. Looked balanced when stood. Maturing nicely and shown in excellent condition. Not so confident on the move today but that will come I m sure. Moved soundly.
3rd: Menstonia Endless Mist
Yearling Bitch (1,0)
1st: Ritchie, Ritchie & Ritchie’s Slapestones Finsch. Stood alone but worthy winner. At 16 months she is maturing into a quality young girl. She has a lovely head and expression, lovely length to neck, well made front and back. Doesn’t always behave for her handler but today she stood solid, well balanced and with a strong topline. Lovely bone and feet. She is so very sound and happy on the move. Surprised but delighted to award her the reserve CC. well bodied and in good coat.
Post Graduate Bitch (2,0)
1st: Dimond & White’s Roxdale Premier Rose. Balanced bitch with a pretty head,good length to neck, straight in front and well angled rear. Moved well enough just needs to build more confidence.
2nd: Glenbrows Hopefullness.
Limit Bitch (3,0)
1st: Dimond & White’s Roxdale Moody Blue. Particularly liked her for type and balance. Pretty feminine head. Good length of neck. Plenty of body , lovely bone . moved well front and back.
2nd: Blackford’s Amblelight Adhara JW. Another balanced bitch but today not quite the movement of winner. Well matured body, balanced when stood and shown in lovely condition.
3rd: Ferguson’s Julita Raindance at Teaselwood
Open Bitch:(3,0)
1st: Ritchie & Graham’s Sh Ch Renascent Bleaberry at Slapestones JW (IMP USA). When this bitch decides to pull out all the stops she is unbeatable. She is so well made throughout. Pleasing head and expression, excellent neck and shoulders, well angled rear. Topline was solid both standing and on the move, mature body, which is now fully developed. Her movement is so sound and a joy to watch. Delighted to award her the CC and BOB. Thought she looked really well in the group ring.
2nd: Harrison’s Sh Ch Glenbrows Harmony JW. Another bitch I have long admired. There is so much to like about her. She has a very pretty head and expression, well made throughout and as always shown in immaculate condition. Just felt today she was outmoved by my main winners.
3rd: Dimond & Edwards’ Amblelight melissa at Roxdale
Veteran Bitch (2,0)
1st: Reynolds & Mcilwaine Benoveor Cant’t Buy Me Love . Loved the shape of this bitch. Particularly liked her rear angulation. Solid topline , good bone, moved very soundly which not only won her this class but best veteran in breed.
2nd: Attwood & Attwood’s Ir Sh Ch Kylowen Demelza Ir Vet Ch VW.10 yr old who really enjoyed her time in the ring . liked her head and expression, she is slightly overweight and this didn’t help on the move which was not as positive as winner.
