Pekingese Belfast Championship Show 27th September 2025

Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge this lovely breed and to the exhibitors for their entry.

Puppy Dog. 2

1st Easdon & Martin. Yakee I’m a Dandy.

Fawn with Black Mask. Good head proportionally wider than deep. His skull is moderately broad, wide and flat between the eyes.

Eyes are dark and round and not oversized.

His ears are heart shaped and set on level with the skull and carried close to the skull.

Mouth is correct showing no teeth. His neck is relatively short. Good body with good boned forlegs, slightly bowed. Well laid back shoulders. Body is fairly short with a distinct waist. Good chest with well sprung ribs, Hindquarters are well developed and tail set on high and slightly curved over his back. Moved well with a rolling gait.B.P.I.B & Res,Dog 🆑

2ND Morley. Londer Black Infinity at Lizlanmor.

A black male of 10 months of age, and much of the same applies. I just preferred the overall balance and movement of my winner.

Limit Dog. 2

1st Baldwin & Martin. Yakee I’m in with a Shout. 20 month old Red Male, Good head proportionally wider than deep. Ears are heart shaped and set on level with the skull and carried close.

Mouth is correct and showing no teeth. His neck is relatively short ,good body with good boned forelegs,which are slightly bowed. Good Lay of shoulders and body fairly short with a distinct waist. Good chest with well sprung ribs. Hindquarters are well developed and correct tail set.

Moved well.

2nd Patterson. Bratilda Lightening boy.Fawn male and lots to like about this male. He has all the attributes that I was looking for,but just preferred the movement on my winner.

1st. Morley & Hitchcock. Lizlanmor Declaration.

This Fawn male has a good head, proportionally wider than deep. His ears are correct and set on level with the skull and carried close. Mouth is correct and showing no teeth. Neck is relatively short, correct lay of shoulders, good body fairly short and good spring of ribs with a distinct waist. Tail set on correct and he moved with the distinct roll. Dog CC .

2nd Easdon & Martin Ch Yakee Starry Starry Night.

Red Brindle male. Lots to like about this male, but I just preferred the movement on my winner today.

Puppy Bitch. 1.

1st Blevins. Blevwill Lady Penelope.

Lovely puppy bitch, Her head is well developed for her age. Her ears hang close to her head and set level with the skull with adequate feathering and her eyes are dark and round.

Mouth is correct,showing no teeth.Her neck is relatively short and thick. Good body for her age and she picks up well.

Junior Bitch. 1

1st Morley & Hitchcock. Sealaw Serenity at Lizlanmor

What a cracker of a bitch. She has a good head and well placed ears. Hanging close to her head. Eyes are dark and round. Mouth is correct showing no teeth. Good shoulder placement and good spring of ribs. Short body. Tail carried over the back.

 Picks up well and moves with the desired roll. Res BCC.

Novice Bitch.1

1st Gault & Stanley. Moonwhispers The Huntress.

10 month old red bitch. She is developing nicely. Her head is of the correct shape and her ears hang close to her skull with adequate feathering. Mouth is correct showing no teeth. Body id good for her age and good spring of rib,.Tail set on correct and moved with the desired roll.

1st Easdon & Martin. Ch Yakee Jasmine.

Red Bitch and what a cracker.

She fulfils the breed standard for me.

Her head is fairly large, proportionally wider than deep. Ears are heart shaped and carried close to the head. Eyes are dark, round and lustrous. Mouth has level lips, showing no teeth.

Her neck is relatively short and thick. Good body with elbows close to body and well laid back shoulders. Distinct waist with broad chest and well sprung ribs.

Strong hindquarters and picked up well and her movement was slow,but dignified.
