PD (6, 1A)

1 & BP Siberiadrift Caesar Is Home (Mrs E & Miss P Ranby & Hughes). 11 months and well presented, correct weight, medium bone, still growing into front pasterns which is what is correct at this age, typical head, high set ears with rounded tips, eyes were well placed, tapering muzzle, good shoulder, ribs extend well back, good length of loin, well angulated rear, tail carriage attractive and high, moved with a free and easy style. I see his dam was later RCC, she’s passed on much quality.

2 Elleonia Take A Chance On Me (ai) (Miss D E Seward). Really promising pup, 2 months younger and gave away a lot on maturity to 1, however he’s of super type, make and shape with excellent body proportions, love his length of leg, and length of body but showing no slackness, moving away he was particularly impressive as he tracks up wide then converges in, moved with excellent drive. Head is balanced with foxy like expression, well placed oblique eyes, and one of the best ear shapes and proportions of the day.

3 Furnesfjorden's First Ragnar for Inneska (Imp Nor) (Mr J & Mrs D Mcinnes)

JD (2)

1 Seaqualina Echo of Light at Arcticskies (Mrs R J & Mr D A Simms). 12-month-old who put on a very good show performance, was very willing to work in tandem with his owner and displayed a free and light step that was accurate going away and coming towards. Feet were tight, compact and well cushioned, muzzle tapered but was a little shorter than ideal, beautifully set oblique eyes giving a very pleasing expression, he was on his toes and carried just the right amount of weight for his body shape.

2 Inukshuk My Way Ward Son (Mrs A & Mr R Houston). I preferred this boy for type, moderate bone, leg length and head properties, and even though balanced, he just didn’t have the front and rear angles of 1 so his movement was stilted and bouncy, he also was far too lean underneath his double coat. However his head was unmistakably masculine, using his ears well that were of good shape, medium stop, eyes were obliquely set and of good shape.

PGD (5)

1 Mydisa Hielan Wee Belter (Miss S & Mrs L Wynne). In excellent condition throughout, well muscled, and presented in thick double coat which was well groomed and with short nails, carrying just the right amount of weight over the ribs, great size with good leg length, attractive facial markings accompanied with blue eyes, black pigmented eye rims, nose and lips, high set ears that were longer than width, gave a very attractive expression, his neck was long and slightly arched and set on a laid back shoulder and decent length of upper arm, strong back, ribs were flat and extended well back, strong loin with slight arch, well angulated rear quarters, very impressive on the move, showing excellent reach and drive and holding his shape and topline.

2 Amical Naxxar JW (Ms P & Mrs C & Mr E Mcarthur & Mckenzie & Rees). Beautifully handled and presented, another in excellent condition and not a hair out of place, of perfect body weight, of well-balanced proportions, totally sound on the move with well furred tail, would prefer a little more flexibility in pasterns. Smooth, free and easy gait.

3 Komaksiut's Glen Devon Av Ratatuyak at Ceannabeinne (Imp Nld) (Mr H H & Mrs J M Wakker)

LD (6,1a) A difficult class to sort out but good movement and leg length were my focus.

1 Inukshuk Silaluk O'the Sea (Mrs A & Mr R Houston). This boy doesn’t make the best of himself in a show class and I’d like to see him presented in better condition. However his excellent and typical driving movement won this class with ease, it was smooth, light and free with reach and powerful drive from behind, carrying his tail high and showing off his brush of tail, his bone is just about acceptable for a male and I would like a straighter front but he was alert, with oblique set eyes and well furred ears.

2 Cwnhapus Master of Whispers JW (Miss B Goodall). This boy was on his toes and a total show off, he appears rather stuffy in neck but he’s in full double coat and its incredibly thick and well presented, I was surprised to find underneath he carried the perfect amount of weight over the ribs, medium bend of stifle, hocks were strong and he moved out and back accurately. Just a little too heavy for my taste and more upright in shoulder.

3 Lupacchiotto Bulletproof of Agaelta (Miss F Penman)

OD (6, 1A)

1 & RCC Ch Pelenrise Don't Stop Moving JW (Mrs P & Mrs H Taylor & Taylor-Morris). Stunning four year old in tip top condition, of super body length, medium bone, his head was in proportion to his body, really masculine with decent back skull, moderate stop, tapering muzzle, excellent pigment, his eyes were placed obliquely and were dark which attractively matched his coat colour, ears were well set, would like them a fraction longer than width, he has such a great shoulder, and matching rear angulation, with a strong tail, well set on and carried just above topline, on the move he was outstanding, trotting at speed with light action, his foot fall was impressive and tracked up perfectly to and fro.

2 Inneska Malachite (Mr J & Mrs D Mcinnes). Another impressive male Siberian who possesses a lot of quality, and really appealed for correct leg length, his head was gorgeous, chiselled and foxy, giving an alert and inquisitive look with his one brown and one blue eye adding to the character, and expression, bone was firm and medium in size, ample forechest, superb flexibility in pasterns, would prefer straighter front limbs, ribs were flat but extended well back – strong in the loin, medium bend of stifle, well angulated hocks. Just not the accuracy of one going away and coming towards.

3 Amical Aramis at Muiryett (S Anderson)

VD (4,1a)

1 & DCC & BV. Ch Siberiadrift Keep The Love for Zimavolk JW ShCM VW (Mrs J & Miss P Allen-Davern & Hughes). Must admit I was pretty taken with the OD winner but then I judged this class and found myself saying “wow”. I have seen this 8-year-old from afar but he is just super to go over, and watch moving round the ring with such power, reaching effortlessly in front and then with great drive from the rear. The first go around… he gave me goose bumps. He stands so strong and accurately in the free-stand, it’s like he’s so well made he doesn’t need a handler. He ticked all the boxes for me and more. His leg length is correct, his chest deep, reaching to just above elbow, his head is typical chiselled and fox-like, really liked his high set ears which had a slightly rounded tip and more importantly were distinctly longer than wide. I’m sure he has so much more winning to come.

2 Rajarani Dominique (Mrs A & Mr R Houston). A nice honest sized boy with a balanced body, good muscle tone, sternum was pronounced, quick and light on his feet, with slight flexibility to his pasterns, his muzzle tapered, ears were alert, not quite the straight forelimbs as 1, ribs were correctly flattened on sides, his loin was strong and slightly arched, tail was inserted correctly and carried in a sabre like curve. His coat was a bit dull, lacking in depth and quality, I’m sure he could be presented better and he could be a higher contender.

3 Ch Winter Melody Bring It On (Imp Pol) (Miss S & Miss P Whatsley & Spencer)

SBD (1)

1 Elleonia No Matter What (Miss S J Grice). A very typical male of good type, strength and substance, correct leg length, carrying the correct amount of body weight, with very good neck, set on to a well placed shoulder, he had flexible pasterns, strong loin and ribs were well sprung but flat. Would prefer straighter front limbs but he was an easy and smooth mover.

GCDSD (1)

1 Elleonia No Matter What (Miss S J Grice) As previous class.

PB (7, 2a)

1 & Best Special Beginner. Howlvalley's Tiramisu (Miss F & Mr M Smith & Balmer). The soundest mover in this class, of heavier bone, very accurate movement going away and coming towards. Presented in clean condition with plenty of thick double coat, well kept short nails and compact oval feet, a little long in the muzzle at the moment and ears could be higher set but she was alert and keen to work for her handler, hope she comes up on the leg.

2 Elleonia Wish Upon A Star (ai) (Miss D E Seward). She’s appearing much longer cast at the moment but is a confident show girl with lots of quality, another superbly presented with the correct muscle tone for her age and correct weight, her head needs time and eyes a touch round but are well placed, really fantastic ears, long & high set and with slight rounded tips. Super neck leading into firm topline, just not quite the reach of 1.

3 Articskies Fallen Angel for Sutarka (Ms G Cameron)

JB (3, 1A)

1 Howlvalley's Tiramisu (Miss F & Mr M Smith & Balmer). Winner of PB.

2 Aloustair's Circle of Life (Miss Cl Jackson). 17-month-old red who is of a smaller frame and just enough bone, her leg length to height at withers was excellent, her ribs were well sprung but flat, firm topline, slight tuck up, her stifle was well bent, she has good strong straight forelimbs with correct sloping pasterns. Needs more confidence in the ring to display her virtues as she’s a little unsettled on the move but I saw enough to award her 2nd.

PGB (4, 1A)

1 Mysticwolf Mo Cuishle (Miss A J Spruce). Unmistakably feminine, tall bitch with good length of body, correct bone for type, athletic appearance, with neat double coat which didn’t distract from both shape, moves freely with excellent high tail carriage and brush on tail. Head was refined, slightly rounded on top with tapered muzzle, blue eyes gave such an attractive expression, she was alert and on her toes.

2 Mydisa Hielan Wee Haiver (Miss S & Mrs L Wynne). Loved the make and shape of this girl, her head was gorgeous, blue eyes attractive, ears were alert and were longer than width and placed high on the head, she had the strength and substance in body which I preferred to 1, however she lacked the necessary front and rear angulation, so moved with a short striding action. A little more reserved when being gone over.

3 Aloustair's Ghost Chilli (Mrs S Donaldson-Buist)

LB (6,2a). Liked the first 2 very much.

1 Nymeria’s Sugar Spice and Everything Nice for Zimavolk (Imp Svn) (Mrs J & Ms J Allen-Davern & Kapić). It was a close call between these two quality girls. I preferred the leg length of 2 but preferred the forward reach of 1. This girl was presented in immaculate condition and worked well with her owner. Her coat was of excellent length, condition and the guard hairs of good texture, she had a super level topline with firm rear quarters, well-muscled up and well covered brush on her tail. Her head was smashing, full of inquisitive intelligence and of good strength and framed by high set ears that were slightly longer than high.

2 Amical Valletta (Master E Rees). Beautifully presented and handled exhibit with the correct weight and muscle tone, the proportions were correct, with slightly more length to the body than heigh but she was slightly slack in her topline and squarer over the croup, her neck was strong of good length and well arched, feet were oval and well padded, her head was foxy, well chiselled and with oblique set eyes, and of deep brown colour to match her coat, front legs were strong and straight.

3 Mysticwolf Diesel's Dream (Miss A J Spruce)

OB (10, 3A). Best class of the day – could’ve easily given top awards to the first 4.

1 BCC & BOB Ch Pelenrise Don't Let Me Go JW (Mrs P & Mrs H Taylor & Taylor-Morris). Simply fills my eye as a typical Siberian Husky female and has that extra sparkle for the show ring. There’s nothing exaggerated about her confirmation, all just fits together beautifully, slightly longer than tall, with the correct length of neck leading into a laid back shoulder and matching length of upper arm, ribs extend well back and flattened on the sides, chest reaches to just above the elbow. Her loin is strong, supple and slightly arched, excellent strength to rear quarters with good second thigh, her feet are oval in shape and well cushioned and with a slight flexibility in pastern. The more I moved this class, she just got better and better, so fluid, quick and light on her feet and with excellent footfall. It was incredibly rewarding to see her go 2nd in the group after a long day. A credit to her owner. Well done.

2 Ch Siberiadrift Secret to Keep (Mrs K Hughes). Another super quality b who is of correct proportions, strength of bone, coat is slightly shorter and close lying but just enhances her shape and gives such an athletic outline. Her chest reaches to just above the elbow and her legs are correctly longer than chest. Her head is balanced and matches her body, using her ears, alert and with strong muzzle that’s slightly tapering. Ears are of great shape, longer than high and set high, eyes obliquely set and sparkling, she has straight forelimbs, strong well-padded feet and moved holding her shape and carrying her tail high with plenty of brush on her tail. A worthy Champion.

3 Elleonia Hear Me Now (Miss D E Seward)

VB (4, 1a)

1 & RCC Ch Siberiadrift Keep Forever JW ShCM ShCEx VW (Mrs K Hughes). A stunning red girl who defies her age and just simply cannot stand wrong. I see is the litter sister to the DCC winner and what a pairing they make. Instantly appeals for size, leg length and firm topline, topped with a medium sized head, almond shaped eyes and well arched neck, her shoulders are well laid back, with good return of upper arm, elbows fit closely to the body, ribs were flattened on sides and extending well back, loins lean and taught and strong rear quarters, moves with such drive and purpose with typical light and free action. She defies her years and is a credit to her owners.

2 Ch Mydisa Golden Deelishus JW ShCM ShCEx OSW VW (Miss S & Mrs L Wynne). She was very close up to 1, and I’m not surprised at all she carries her title and all these other amazing awards to her name. She is of similar make, shape and type to 1, perfectly proportioned, showing her socks off for her handler and covered in a thick double coat, moved like a dream too, showing typical light and free stride with no excess bounce, she moved so accurately to and fro. Just carrying a little extra weight over her shoulders spoiling her side profile stance. I really liked her.

3 Amical Switched On at Laskakova (Mrs I Kennedy)

SBB (2)

1 Howlvalley's Tiramisu (Miss F & Mr M Smith & Balmer). 1st in PB and JB.

2 Aloustair's Circle of Life (Miss Cl Jackson). 2nd in JB.
