1ST 3084 - Rosschell Maid to Dazzle (Miss M & Mr J Davis & Walsh). Black tri, fabulous prospect to start the day, very collected and steady on the move for one so young, nice proportions, good depth of chest, well padded tight feet, well conditioned, presented and muscled. All topped with a well balanced head, slight stop, tapering muzzle, ears were of medium size, falling forward and with strong dark pigmentation on nose and eye rims and deep brown eyes giving an intelligent expression. One to watch.

2ND 3082 - Sparkaway The Witch Doctor (Miss T Cowley). Black tri, a lot of the same comments apply and slightly older than 1. Good length of body and well ribbed, chest developing nicely and slightly sloping croup, strong hocks. Would like more flexibility in pasterns and elbows a touch wide at this stage.

1ST 3093 - Zuni Someone U Loved Fallcat (Mrs J Knott), very attractive blue merle with white muzzle and blaze and white collar, he gives a real intelligent expression accentuated by one blue eye and one brown eye, of a smaller mould all over, preferred the length of back on this one to 2, presented in great jacket and condition, efficient mover, neck is moderate in length, has sufficient bone, the correct sloping pasterns, and oval shaped compact feet.

2ND 3094 - Can’t Stop The Music Blamorder (Miss A Lusty). Larger blue merle dog who is slightly too long for his length of leg, bone is moderate, elbows are tight, holds a firm back on the move, moved accurately out and back. Felt his head could be broader and muzzle slightly shorter for my preference but he was alert and attentive.

1ST 3093 - Zuni Someone U Loved Fallcat (Mrs J Knott). 1st in JD

2ND 3080 - Sparkaway Ladies Man (Miss T Cowley). A small and compactly built dog, perhaps could do with a shade more leg, muzzle is short but a little blocky, a little reluctant to use his ears, very strong straight level topline which he held beautifully on the move, could have more slope in pasterns and his elbows could be tighter. He had plenty of double coat, much of it was well presented, of good length and fitted his body well.

1ST 3076 - Ch Norcis Slippery Jack JW ShCEx OSW (Miss S Bothwell). Nothing exaggerated on this excellent quality and typy dog, rich red merle with a well-fitting jacket which enhanced his outline, he possesses a super clean head, with excellent eye set, shape and expression, and easy and free mover in all directions holding a firm topline and really filled my eye from every angle. In excellent condition, well muscled and beautifully handled to achieve the best performance from him, delighted to see he also achieved G4 in a top quality pastoral group. Hands down the easiest decision of the day for BOB.

2ND 3090 - Chalksville Strike A Deal with Kashaella JW (Mrs S.v & Miss K.v & Miss H.v Jarram & Jarram & Whittingham). Black tri who is a real showman and he and his handler really work in harmony to achieve a top quality performance. He is carrying the correct weight and is well muscled. Ears are rather heavy, but set high, and would like more back skull. Although balanced on the move in profile, his lack of shoulder angulation and straight rear means he bounces when he moves rather than the desired smooth easy trot.

1ST 3073 - Shloyan The Songs of Ice and Fire for Kellitcreed (IKC) (Mr J Beard). What a smart puppy who is beautifully schooled, confident and with plenty of bone and substance. Presenting a slightly longer body at this stage, so hope she comes up on the leg a bit more, excellent feet, and rear angles and moves round the ring with a light easy action whilst holding her shape.

2ND 3081 - Sparkaway Maneater (Miss T Cowley). Preferred the head on this one which showed good width, depth and balance, with excellent expression, not quite the confidence of 1 at this stage but of course she has loads of time to come on, very good mover, just coming towards a little wide at this stage.

3RD 3097 - Sparkaway Jeepers Creepers of Franmar (Mrs L Scanlan)

1183. Australian Shepherd - Junior Bitch

1ST 3083 - Rosschell Maid Out of The Blu (Miss M & Mr J Davis & Walsh), loved this blue merle for her size, balance and steady easy trotting movement. Rich tan points which are so attractive against her blue merle markings with classic white collar. Presented and handled to advantage, her bone is moderate and quality all through, topped off with an extractive balanced and clean cut head. Champion quality for sure, with a little more time.

2ND 3091 - Viva La Vida for Kashaella De L’aussie Happy (Imp Fra) (Mrs S.v & Miss K.v & Miss H.v Jarram & Jarram & Whittingham). Very pretty smaller and compact girl with good front and rear angles, bone is quite strong for her size, steady mover in profile, a little narrow behind and I would like her a fraction bigger all over. Prettiest of heads with high set ears falling forward and giving an intelligent expression, muzzle is strong and short.

1ST 3100 - Onyxwood Ironside (Mr M & Mrs L D Woodhouse). Black tri, clean presentation and handled well and in good order. Free and easy mover, good topline on the move but when coming to a stop, a little bum high. She had a good head, nice size for her body, tapering muzzle, well placed eyes, amber in colour.

2ND 3099 - Birkcross She's Embracing at Shamiraland (Miss J Smart). Attentive bitch to her handler, moderate bone, strong ribbing, great coat and texture, stands four square on oval feet, intense eyes of good shape and medium brown colour. A little snipy in foreface and soft topline in the stand and on the move.

1185. Australian Shepherd - Open Bitch

1ST 3077 - Norcis Summer Truffle JW (Miss S Bothwell). After the first go around, this petite but moderately made bitch took my eye and as I came close and put my hands on, she was really everything that I would look for in a female. She excels on the move with such a smooth free and tireless trot, is super accurate out and back and correctly converging too. She is so well made you can’t ignore her.

2ND 3095 - Franmar Blue Mystique (Mrs L Scanlan). This larger and substantial bitch really impressed with the most beautiful head, neck, excellent shoulder, great width of front, super strong ribs that extended well back, strong loin and moderate bend of stifle, short and strong hocks, she moved briskly with ease and in a perfect extended trot, just a pity she was rather overweight on the day which showed on the move with slight roll.

3RD 3074 - Ch Try Again De L’aussie Happy at Boskenna (Imp Fra) (Mr J Beard)
