What a fantastic day judging at the EASBTC show. I enjoyed myself immensely and hope that my winners were happy with my decisions and I thank you for your entries. I would also like to thank all the East Anglia SBTC officers & committee for making my day special and welcoming, and for my lovely gifts. It was a wonderfully run show so well done to you all. 

My ring stewards, Karen Johnson and Kim Dowse were fantastic and on the ball which made my day easier. Thanks to my co-judge Amélie Chaine, and the referee Tony Pritchard for making our final selections easier.

I had some quality dogs, which were very well presented. The dentition was generally very good. However, a few dogs had loose feet, long nails, and soft pads. A few had light eyes. The overall movement wasn't too bad. Another day could give different results with the same dogs!

CLASS: 1 - MINOR PUPPY DOG 6 entries 1 absent

1st Bassford & Lane - JOJALANE I DRINK WINE. Red with white chest and white socks. Broad front. Good head shape, neat ears, lovely dark mask. Teeth all good with a correct bite. Nice topline and Plenty of bone and substance. Great short coat. Moved well. Lovely puppy.

2nd Miller - SKYLAND TILKUM. Black brindle, good head shape, nice dark eye. Correct bite. Ample depth of head for age. Ears acceptable. Correct shoulder angulation, short back. Moved well.

3rd Boulton & Hayton - DUSKLIGHT SEE ME NOW

1st Walsh & Lloyd - GEORDIESTOON DEFIANT BOY FOR WEORC. A flashy Black Brindle with a white chest and socks. Good head shape, broad skull for age. Nice rose ears, dark eye, correct bite, good nares. Broad chest, Ribs coming on nicely. Moved well. BPIS.

2nd Murphy - BROCKMAR TOP BOY [ATC BC89706|KC] Black brindle, white socks and chest. Nice head shape, neat ears, broad skull for age. Correct dentition. Shoulders in the correct place leading to a close coupled back. Short coat in good condition. Moved well.

3rd Cockeram - BULLYBRANCH CLEVER COAL

1st Dickenson & Stewart - BARIELLE DUTCH CONNECTION BY AYMSTAFF. Black brindle. Good broad skull with depth. Dark eyes, good length of muzzle, correct bite, nice ears. Broad chest with plenty of bone, well sprung ribs, close coupled, coat in great condition. Correct pump-handle tail. Moved with drive.

2nd Jennings - ELITEBULL VALENTINE. JW. White skewbald. Good shape head with lovely expression. Nice dark eyes. Correct bite. Tidy ears. Nice broad chest, level topline, good bend of stifle. Moved well

1st Duffield & Mansell- SHAMARA LACRNUM INFLAMARI AT DUFFMAN JW. Good red colour with white chest and toes. Lovely head shape – broad and deep. Nice dark mask. Good scissor bite. Neat ears. Ample length of neck leading to a wide and well boned front. Good spring of rib. Close coupled, level topline. Tail in pump handle position. Moved with drive.

2nd Davies - HASBURYSTAFF TOP GUN JW. Black brindle with through white chest and white socks. Lovely head shape – deep and broad, nice neat ears, good dark eyes, correct bite with large teeth. Muscular neck. Wide front, plenty of bone. Good topline. Moved well.

2ND Bennett - POWERPACK SINGULARITY Black Brindle with white crest on chest. Lovely head shape – broad and deep. Tidy ears. Good nares. Correct bite. Nice dark round eyes. Good depth of wide chest. Short back. Good, angulated stifles. Good coat. Moved okay.

2ND Miller - SKYLAND IMPERIAL JW. Black Brindle with white crest on chest. Good head shape, neat ears. Dark and round eyes. Nice depth of chest. Ample ribs. Good bone. Nice topline. Moved with drive.

1st Lewis - CH BIGGLESWICK SPLASH OF GINGE Ch. Biggleswick Splash of Ginge. Red boy with white chest. Lovely head shape with a dark mask, deep through skull and width, good dark eyes, lovely rose ears. Correct dentition. Nice wide front with correct shoulder placing. A good spring of rib, nice topline, muscled hind-quarters, tight feet, moved and handled well. At over ten years old, he looks very good for his age and could show up a few younger boys! BVIS

2nd Rose - ILLORI AKINLANA JW ShCM VW. Black brindle. Nice head still in good shape. Neat ears, Correct bite. Body shape still in good condition. At almost twelve years old he’s still holding his own. Moved okay for his age.
