It was an honour and privilege to be invited by The Jack Russell Terrier Club to judge the Jack Russell Terriers at their Championship Show and award CC’s for the first time. I wish to thank my two stewards Lucy and Anna who did a brilliant job and to all the exhibitors who supported me.

I enjoyed my day with some lovely exhibits accepting my decisions with great etiquette. Thank you.

1st & BBPIS Irving’s Twinan Silver Dollar Headed up a fantastic lineup of Baby Puppy Dogs. 5 months T/W lovely head and body proportions, good tailset and coat and pelt, balanced and moved very well. A bright future I am sure.

2nd Witmond’s Urananus Essence of the Sun at Tilster - A lot to like about this youngster, very similar comments to 1st but just found 1st had the edge on movement.

3rd Turner and MacDonald’s Locheil Bad Habits another youngster with a bright future, lovely head and body proportions and moved well.

4th Bowden’s Twinan Good Golly to Chellowside NAF TAF

5th Speake’s Cedarhill High Flyer

Class 2 Baby Puppy Bitch (2)

1st Broom Roxway Miss Lotus Such a feminine young bitch, lovely head and body proportions, T/W, good tailset, moved well.

2nd Fincham’s Lindcoly Princess Tiana T/W youngster, not quite as settled as 1st but proportions ok just needs to mature.

Class 3 VD (2)

1st Thornley Locheil Stop Right There Tri dog of good proportions not at all showing his age. Good dentition, earset. Good coat and pelt, very balanced with a firm body and well ribbed, moved well.  

2nd McCabe Krisbos Jellybean T/W smooth coat, lovely proportions, nice head and ear, moved well.

1st Giovannetti & Oliva Jonu’s JR Zazu T/W Well presented and handled. nicely balanced dog. Good head proportions, straight front, spans well, moved well holding a good topline and tailset. BPIS

2nd Ryan Saredon Jitterbug T/W very much on his toes, good head proportions, nice dark eye and earset, harsh coat and pelt, very well presented, moved well. Pushed hard for 1st place.

3rd Jones Laserna Captain Crash A lot to like about this young dog, T/w good head and body proportions, good coat and pelt, moved well.

1st Fonzo All Jacks Freedom A lot to like about this dog, T/W put down in excellent condition, good coat and pelt, nice head and body proportions, a real character and moved with purpose. Very well handled.

3rd Richardson and Wood Laserna Captain Crash Well presented young dog, full of character, good head and body proportions, good coat and pelt and moved well.

2nd Bailey Twinan Raging Inferno with Bryndingo so much to like about this young dog, good head and body proportions, movement good, held a good topline on the move and good tailset.

1st MacDonald and Mackay All Jacks Clandestine (imp Ita) headed up a very strong class, full of character, good head proportions, earset, nice dark eye, nice straight front legs, good coat and pelt, easy to span, moved well holding a good topline and tailset. Well handled.

2nd McCluskey and Young Tiltser Voulez Vous Ave Chadbrook Similar remarks to 1st place and they could easily change places on another occasion. loved the head expression, nice neat ears, dark eyes, lovely length of neck, held a good topline and good tailset.

3rd Thornley Dancing in the Dark at Robythorn T/W a more substantial dog in comparison to 1 and 2 but all in proportion, moved well, good coat and pelt and good tailset.

1st Ryan’s Saredon Modern Times Well-constructed with good head showing an alert expression. He has well boned straight front legs. Plenty of fore chest, Good depth to his body and firm over his loins. Well angulated quarters, good coat and pelt. Moved and handled to advantage, liked him very much. RDCC

2nd Donnelly Calavey’s Abu Masculine dog with strong head with good proportions, straight front, neat feet, good coat and pelt, moved with purpose holding a good topline and tailset.

3rd Irving Twinan High Regard A smart dog of good proportions, nice dark eye and earset, good length of neck, well balanced, moved well.

1st Tate and Nagrecha Chandlimore Play Boy at Java So much to like about this masculine, active, lovely terrier. Good proportioned head, strong in muzzle with the correct proportions. Dark eyes and expression. lovely ears, flat skull, correct bite, nothing overdone. Moves with good drive and free stride. Excellent tailset with a great coat and pelt. Very well presented and handled. In no doubt that he deserved to take the DCC and BIS. 

2nd Sgura Salvatore Togree’s Constantine Another very smart dog of good proportions, strong muzzle, good dark eyes, correct bite, nothing exaggerated about him. Good coat and pelt, very well presented and handled.             

3rd Lane & Lane & Lane-Ridyard Kulawind white diamond A smart dog of good head and body proportions, nice dark eye and earset, good coat and pelt, moved well.

2nd Jones Perfect Love Di Sutri at Laserna Imp Ita Another lovely veteran bitch of good proportions, nice dark eye and earset, held a good topline and good tailset. Good coat and pelt.

1st Klocankova & Pool Shadlisa Dream Girl Lovely feminine bitch of good proportions, nice dark eye and earset, good coat and pelt and moved well. 

MPB (3:2)

1st Sturrock Locheil You Win my Love Forfarian Nice T/W feminine bitch with good head and body proportions. Nice dark eye and earset. Good coat and pelt, moved well.

PB (4:1)

1st Witmond Tiltser Mint Velvet Lovely Feminine bitch with a nice head and keen, alert expression. Good topline and tailset, moved well with low set hocks. Good coat and pelt. Loved her movement which was sound and free.

2nd Sgura Salvatore Totgree’s Più Bella Cosa Another lovely bitch who pushed hard for 1st place. Very similar comments to 1 with lovely feminine head, keen alert expression. Good coat and pelt, put down in excellent condition. Handled and well presented. 

3rd Copping and Phillips Java Cotton Trader Again a very feminine bitch with lovely head, dark eye and earset, would have preferred a little more in length of leg. Moved well and very balanced.

1st Giovannetti Jonu’s JR Lady Jane This bitch took my eye when she came into the ring, feminine head, nice dark eye, earset. good bone, nice lay of shoulder, balanced and held good topline on the move, good tailset. T/W.

2nd Tate and Nagrecha Chandlimore Rainbow Over Java Very smart bitch who impressed me with her movement. Easy to span, level topline and well set tail. Loved her expression, nice dark eye. Pushed hard for 1st place.

3rd Lane & Lane & Lane-Ridyard Kulawand Skip N-Be Merry Good head and body proportions, nice dark eyes, well placed ears, good coat and pelt.

1st Rosell & Tate & Nagrecha Chandlimore Scarlet Ribbon with Jaeva Headed up a very strong class of lovely young bitches. Lovely feminine head, correct ears, dark eyes, straight well boned front legs, good topline, tailset, moved with drive and purpose and very well handled.

2nd Irving Twinan Light Blu Touch Paper Another lovely feminine bitch who really pushed hard for 1st place, very similar comments to 1 but just preferred movement of 1. Very well presented and handled.

3rd Hart Tiltser Cherry Blossom Another youngster with plenty of promise, very feminine of good proportions, moved and handled well.

1st Ryan Saredon Quickstep Such a feminine bitch who was right on her toes and very showy, Lovely head and body proportions, lovely dark eye, correct earset. Good coat and pelt and easy to span, going both away and towards me moving well. Lovely free movement with reach and drive 

2nd Evans Jackpack Picture Perfect lovely head and body proportions, nice dark eyes, correct ears, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Nice straight front legs and well muscled hindquarters. Moved soundly.

3rd Galloway Navigareamor Platinum Posh at Lejamla T/W similar comments to 2nd but just preferred movement of 2.

2nd Sinibaldi Jackinlove Penny Black Another lovely bitch, T/W, good proportions, dark eye, scissor bite, good coat and pelt, easy to span, good tailset and moved well.

3rd Evans Kulawand Wicked Whisper at Jackpack nice balanced bitch, dark eye, correct ears, scissor bite, good coat and pelt and moved well.

1st Ryan Saredon Simplicity Caught my eye as she entered the ring, lovely feminine bitch of good proportions, put down in excellent condition, nice keen dark eye, correct ears, scissor bite, easy to span. Stood well, balanced, moved well both ways and in profile holding a level topline with slight arch to loin and correct tailset. Good rear angulation giving her plenty of drive. BCC

2nd Tate & Nagrecha Jaeva Don’t Dilly Dally with Chandlimore Another lovely bitch with very similar characteristics as 1. Very well presented, again put down in excellent condition, nicely balanced and moved well. 

3rd Macdonald & Mackay Locheil Snow Queen Lovely balanced bitch who moved well around the ring. Good head and body proportions, correct ears, scissor bite, nice dark eyes, easy to span, good coat and pelt and presented in excellent condition.
