Samoyeds

Many thanks to the committee for the invitation to judge at this show. My sincere thanks to my 2 lovely stewards for keeping the ring running so smoothly. Thanks also to the exhibitors for the nice entry.

Presentation on the whole was first class, but I did find some teeth that could do with some attention.

Due to the long delay (almost 1 ½ hrs as the judge in the ring prior to Samoyeds over ran) it was necessary to judge with some haste in order for the BOB & BPIB to make the groups. Think we managed it with a bit to spare.

Minor Puppy Dog(3.0)

1st Miss P Wilcock’s Dynar Happily Ever After. Very much a baby. Lovely expressive head with good eye & ear set. Good bone and nice tail carriage. Moved well when settled.

2nd Mr N & Mrs Forester’s Artsam shining future Hiro for Hakumichi.Another nice youngster showing a lot of promise with sweet head and smiling expression. Moved well

Puppy Dog (2.0)

1st Mr N & Mrs J D Collinson’s Vandreem Imperial Mario at Norjack. 10 month old maturing nicely. Lovely head to this young man with correct eye and ear set. Nicely arched neck leading to deep chest with plenty of heart and lung room. Moved with drive. Presented to perfection. BPIB

2nd Miss a Rojowska’s From Oslo With Snow White Touch Of The Sky To Arcticuno (IMP POL) Another youngster with a lot to admire just not as well schooled as 1st. Moved reasonably well when settled.

Junior Dog (2.0)

1st Miss A Haffenden’s Novaskaya Yolo Lefay. Smaller type but in proportion. Good eye and ear set Nice depth of chest, well balanced front and rear. Coat of correct texture. Moved well.

2nd Mr T W & Mrs A J Gwynne’s Rosnorske Royal Kylo. Lovely masculine ( but not coarse ) head to this boy with good eye and ear set. While these 2 could change places another day today he was not as positive on the move as 1st.

Post Grad Dog (3.1)

1st Mr I M & Mrs D J Shepherd’s Samhaven Driftin High To Shianise. Nicely balanced young man with lovely wedged shaped head , good pigmentation, correct eye and well furred and set ears giving a pleasing expression. Nice lay to shoulder, good tail carriage. Held topline on move. Moved well.

2nd Mr A & Mrs J L Woodhead’s Nikara It’s Kamochi With Pashka. Attractive expressive head,strong arched neck, Balanced front and rear. Moved well.

Limit Dog (4. 1)

1st Mrs E Kosmane’s Rosnorske Royal Qui Gon At Glamyarn JW Nice shape and outline to this young man. Lovely expressive head with correct eye and ear set. Good reach of neck and shoulder placement. Moved well holding topline.

2nd Mrs D Humphrey’s Tiski Time After Time. Nice boy, overall balanced with good head and expression Not as positive on move as 1st.

Open Dog (7.0)

1st Mrs L & Mrs A Bobrowski & Kirkwood’s Ch Vandreem Imperial Breeze Over Berezniki.Lovely sized dog with balanced proportions. Expressive masculine wedged shaped head with dark eye , well placed and furred ears,& good pigmentation. Proudly arched neck with good shoulder lay. Good bone and substance. Presentation first class. A delight to go over, a picture standing, on the move covered the ground effortlessly showing strength and elegance. CC & BOB

2nd. Mrs S & Miss S Brandenberg & Smith’s Ch It’s Keat’s By Taronakits JW Lovely outline on this young man. Ty[pical sammy head and expression with well furred neat ears and correct eye. Sound in body with lovely reach of neck and lay of shoulder. Moved with drive and purpose, Unlucky to meet 1st in such good form RCC

Minor Puppy Bitch (3.1)

Mrs K Howlett’s Artsam Bedazzled for Tiski. 6 month old petite baby. Good eye and ear set in a feminine head giving lovely expression. Super topline. She looked a picture standing taking everything in her stride including the change over from handler to runner for the move. I will watch her progress with interest.

2nd Miss E L Hunt’s Artsam Beloved. Litter sister to 1st and with so many of the same qualities. A lot to like about this little girl, I’ m sure they will change places many times.

Puppy Bitch (1.0)

1st A & B W Jebson’s Vandreem Imperial Malari. Very pretty typical sammy head with good eye, well set and furred ears giving a lovely expression. Good reach of neck and super topline which she held on the move. Lovely outline to this girl.

Junior Bitch (3.1)

1st Mrs S, Miss S & Mr R Brandenberg, Smith & Jackson’s Novaskaya Yva Lefay By Taronakits JW. Another young lady with lovely feminine head, correct eye and ear set and good pigment. Nicely balanced with good angulation . Coat of correct texture and beautifully presented. Moved well.

2nd Mr A B & Mrs J L Woodhead’s Novaskaya Yelana Lefay at Pashka. Litter sister to 1st with many of the same qualities. Pressed her sister hard .Very pretty head with smiling expression. Movement not quite as good as 1st today.

Post Grad Bitch (3.1)

1st Mr C & Miss R Webb & Bates’s Rosskaja Ginato Clementino. Caught my eye as she entered the ring. Lovely young lady with correct eye shape and colour , correct stop and ear set in a super wedge shaped headpiece giving a lovely smiling expression. Neck proudly arched , excellent shoulder and reach of neck. Good deep chest. Lovely overall shape. Movement was effortless fore and aft. Beautifully presented. Could not be denied her first CC here today. Hope the next 2 are not far behind, CC RBIB

2nd Miss T Walton’s Brilantico Cloudy Dreams. Nice made girl with good eye and ear set in a sweet head. Moved well. Sadly left her coat at home today.

1st Mr J G & Mrs A E Mann’s Silvertips and All That Jazz JW. Much to like about this girl with good balance and construction. Lovely head with good eye and ear set. Coat of correct texture, well presented and shown. Moved well.

2nd Mrs C Walton’s Rosskaja Donatella Versace. Very pretty head and expression, good dark points and correct ear set. Coat of correct texture, moved well.

Open Bitch ((4.1)

1st Miss A South’s Alexi Viva La Diva. Lovely feminine bitch with good wedge shaped head, with lovely almond eye and good ears et giving a most pleasing expression. Well arched neck, well laid shoulders and good heart room. Moved well fore and aft holding topline.

2nd A & B W Jebson’s Vandreem Imperial Amore Lovely bitch with feminine head, eyes of correct almond shape, good ear set. Pleasing outline. Moved well.

Veteran Bitch (4.1)

 1st Mr N & Mrs J D Collinson’s Ch Nikara Secret Love By Norjack JW. 8 years young and showing the youngsters how it is done. Super head with correct eye, ear set and pigment giving a most appealing expression. Construction first class. Moved with style and grace holding her topline. Beautifully presented as one would expect from this kennel. RCC & BV.

2nd Miss L Bule’s Belluchi Snow First Lady With Dreambig( Imp Mkd) Batting on to 10 years of age and showing so very well. Nice head with well set ears, good dark points. Well presented and shown. Moved well.
