My sincere thanks once again to the committee for their kind invitation to judge at their Breed Championship Show held at Grenoside Community Centre. This time it was the dogs and I was pleased that the quality in quite a few classes, made some decisions quite difficult. I really enjoyed my day – there was a lovely friendly atmosphere and I was made to feel very welcome. I had a lovely entry, but the absentee rate was higher than I had hoped. I believe that there is Kennel Cough around and so I understand why. For those who did attend thank you for allowing me to judge your dogs. Also special thanks to my very able stewards Brian and Jonathan who kept the ring running smoothly and me in order!
BABY PUPPY DOG- (1)
1st- DAWSON- PAYNE & MOUSLEY – JUDAMIE BIRTHDAY BASH
What a little cracker. Fawn boy of just 4.5mths and showing so confidently. Good head for age and with attractive black mask. Dark, round eyes with soft expression. Nice size and lovely and square in shape. Short and cobby in body with level top line nicely muscled rear and good tail set and carriage. Still a lot of maturing to do but a very promising puppy – BBPD. In the challenge he was up against his sister who is just as nice and very well shown by her young handler, but with my co Judges agreement, we awarded the dog - BBPIS.
