Dogs

I would like to thank Cheshire Cocker Spaniel Club for offering me the opportunity to judge at their show. As such a small committee they do an amazing job of running shows, if you live in that region please do offer some help to the club it’s a lot of work to run shows so they would welcome your help. My stewards were fabulous keeping the ring running so efficiently thank you so much.

I want to thank exhibitors for bringing their dogs under me I appreciate all the time and effort you all went to in presenting your dogs in good order for me. Since I last judged dogs I do think overall quality is improving and I was delighted with the quality in my shortlist and some classes I would have loved to have more first prizes for. I had a couple of incorrect bites and sadly some very plain heads.

1. Pearce-Gudger - SH CH Cachel Prince Charming of Pearkim JW – It was a pleasure to finally get to judge this fabulous veteran and what an ambassador for our breed he is. 1. Dolan - Snowgate Shine On – Dark blue presented in excellent coat and condition. Won the class on his soundness on the move, how wonderful to see a dog go around the ring on a loose lead without putting a foot wrong. He was certainly at one with his handler.
