Bath Canine Society

Breed: Retriever (Labrador)

Bath Canine Society – Sunday 25th May

Labrador Retrievers

Judge: Lucy Rawlinson

I would like to thank the committee of Bath Canine Society for inviting me to complete my first CC appointment. A lovely well run show with a good atmosphere and we even had sunny weather, despite the unpredictable forecast.

I was delighted with the quality of my entry, with so few absentees in both dogs and bitches and really liked my line ups. It was a true privilege to judge them. Thank you to all the exhibitors for supporting me and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. You all made my day very enjoyable. Overall, I found the quality very pleasing, but I did feel that a few dogs would have benefited from carrying less weight. Substance should not be confused with solid fat.
