Thank you so very much for this wonderful appointment to judge this fabulous breed. I couldn’t believe I had an entry of 98 at a breed Open Show. The committee and hospitality were spot on. Thank you to my two stewards, Hannah and Lawrence for keeping the ring moving whilst ensuring that handlers didn’t miss their classes. Thank you to the committee for my super engraved glass – it was something very special to remember a great day.
Class 1 Baby Puppy
77 Oliver’s Smart as A Whip Danger Zone at Tambuzi (Imp ESP) Best Baby Puppy Dog/ BBPIS. 5 months old and showing much promise. Good bite, head, ears and eyes. Level topline, good angulation and appears to be developing well. Moved lovely covering the ground easily. Happy in the ring enjoying his day out. Should have a great show career. One to watch.
Class 2 Minor Puppy Dog
39 Hadden’s Kanamaren I Have The Touch. 8mths old youngster. Slightly larger frame than litter mate. Head developing well, masculine but not harsh. Good neck. Front angulation didn’t quite agree with the rear however time on his side as still a baby and growing.
43 Henwood’s Kanamaren Don’t Give Up. As his brother he has nice head proportions. He seems to be developing well, moved nicely around the ring but at this time didn’t have the rear of the winner – however again just a baby.
Class 3 Puppy Dog
7 Austin & Zolakova’s Hysteps Come By Best Puppy Dog/BOSPIS. Such an eye-catching puppy. So well schooled and handled to get the best from him. Well off for bone, masculine throughout with a nice outline. I wouldn’t want him any heavier. Moves at speed around the ring covering the ground well.
32 Etherial Diamond Lakes (AI) (IMP AUS). Masculine puppy who just needed a little time to settle. Good head, bite and eye. Long coat of correct texture. Moved OK.
90 Tunnicliff’s Littlethorn Kona
Class 4 Junior Dog
12 Barwick’s Tobermoray Touch Of Class. Good size with substance. Super outline, topline and croup. Won this class on his movement and head properties. Presented immaculately.
33 Fisher’s Locheil Written In The Stars JW Slightly longer cast with strong bone. Masculine throughout. Head developing nicely and he has lovely eyes and a nice expression. Moved soundly around the ring.
Class 5 Yearling Dog
87 Tandy, Turns & Domotori’s Borderheart Havana Nights. 16mths old, stood alone. Nice head proportions, correct bite. Moved steadily around the ring. Handled really well.
Class 6 Post Grad Dog
72 Mercer’s Kirkwind Sergent Pepper. 17mths old. Such a nice outline and shape, lovely expression and head proportions. Strong bone, good coat and in fit condition. Moderate angulation. He needs to settle on the move to really show off in the ring.
17 Buckley’s Amkamel Half Blood Prince. Another with an expressive eyes and proportioned head. Good side gait and covered the ground easily. Just carrying a little weight.

Class 7 Limit Dog
20 Cole’s Janbell Love In The Dark, substantial male, won the class on his movement. Slightly longer cast, correct angulation and he covered the ground easily.
89 Littlethorn Ioniq, good topline and smooth outline, good croup and tail set. In great condition overall. Handsome with nice head, eye and expression. Just preferred the movement of the winner. Another in great condition.
Class 8 Open Dog
16 Broadhurst’s Sh Ch Rosehurst Royal Sunset Best Dog & Best In Show. Today he stole the show. What an eye-catching masculine dog, balanced with a lovely smooth outline. His head and expression is excellent, dark eyes, ears well set and used at all times. Nice length of neck, flowing into a good topline and croup. Good lay of shoulder and rear angulation to match with strong hocks. Tail set and length spot on. His attitude and showmanship in the ring cannot be denied. So easy on the eye when he moves, his side gait is a delight as he covers the ground effortlessly. He is handled to perfection yet appears not to need much handling as he is so well schooled.
76 Oliver’s Simmovon Shockwave at Tambuzi JW Res Best Dog. Another lovely male. Beautifully presented and in tip top condition. Masculine head with good proportions. Balanced throughout with good bone. Correct topline, nice sloping croup, good tail set and strong rear with good angulation. A joy to watch on the move too.
Class 9 Special Open AOC Dog (Excl. Black/White)
28 Diserens’ Int Sh CH/SWISS Ch Bordercot Magic Rhythm Best Veteran Dog/ BVIS. 8 years and this blue showing little sign of being a veteran. Good bone, in good condition, slightly longer cast. Nice chest and ribs. He really wants to move and at times a bit too much for his handler to keep up.

28 Diserens’ Int Sh CH/SWISS Ch Bordercot Magic Rhythm – as class 9
10 Barton’s Brytess Achilles, super expression with good eyes. Nice bone and tight feet. Presented well and muscled. Not quite the topline and movement of the winner.
Class 11 Best Baby Puppy Bitch
19 Chatee’s Ellacha Best Of My Love Best Baby Puppy Bitch. What a little sweetie who really enjoyed being in the ring. She looks the part and hopefully will continue to develop nicely.
71 Mercer’s Kirkwind Secret Soul, another pretty girl who seemed to enjoy herself. Feminine with a sweet expression. Nicely moved around the ring.
Class 12 Minor Puppy Bitch
95 Wilkinson’s Altricia Day Dream – Best Puppy Bitch / BPIS. Much to like about this 8mth old girl. She is such a showgirl at such a young age. Her movement is so pleasing to the eye, and she covers the ground effortlessly. Nice bone, good front and rear as suggested by her movement. Feminine head, with lovely expressive eyes. She has a super silhouette with smooth outline. In the challenge she shone, certainly one to watch.
65 MacDonald, Turner & Alexander’s Portnadoran Family Recipe, nicely proportioned and smaller all round but still a baby. Feminine girl with a lovely head and neck. Moved well around the ring. Another who should have a good show career.

Class 13 Puppy Bitch
9 Austin & Zolakova’s Hysteps That’ll Do - Such a lovely girl with so much to like. Moved soundly and covered the ground well. She is well angulated with the required drive. Nice topline with sloping croup. From a distance her head markings could detract however on examination her head is balanced with a nice expression. Another who should have a good time in the ring as she continues to develop.
75 Murfet & Oliver’s Tambuzi Guess Who’s Back, another youngster showing so much promise. She used her ears and had a feminine head with good eye and bite. Enough neck, good bone, nice feet and low tail set. Another who I’m sure will have fun in the ring.

73 Mills & Strutt’s Taranza Winter Mixture 13 mth old black tri, who was in lovely condition. Feminine head piece, hood stop, nice eyes and expression. Handled well to get the best from her.
Class 15 Yearling Bitch
94 Wettern-Bloomfield’s Alpana Summer Storm JW. Such a pretty head and really used her ears. Good reach of neck and firm top line. Steady on the move but correct angulation. Decent croup and low tail set. So in tune with her handler. I’m sure one to watch.
Class 16 Post Grad Bitch
1 Angier & Stacey’s Bilyara Isn’t She Lovely (AI) Best Bitch/ Res BIS – She is so lovely! Her outline is balanced and smooth, she has the correct amount of bone and is shown in tip top fitness. She is feminine with the most delightful of expressions. Nothing is exaggerated about this girl. Her front and rear angulations are as her movement suggest they should be as she effortlessly covers the ground with free easy movement. She has such ring presence too. I doubt she’ll be in Post Grad for much longer. One from the top draw.
29 Dodd’s Molumiki Down In Upendi Feminine blue girl with a kind expression. Neck of good length and firm topline. Great coat of good condition, sound mover.

97 Wiltshire’s Caleykiz Passon For Power Res Best Bitch. It wasn’t an easy decision, and she almost topped the bitches as she is such quality. She immediately took my eye in the class. Balanced on the stance and excelled on the move. Feminine head, good muzzle, well set ears and dark eye. She has the required front and rear angulation and is so easy to watch moving and covered the ground so easily. Such a sound, confident and impressive bitch. Surely she’ll be a champion in no time.
51 Lea’s Calareto All My Loving JW another with an attractive expressive head with correct eye shape and colour. Nice outline with good bone and covered in a lovely coat. Good depth to chest, nice ribs, slightly sloping croup. Moved in unison with her owner and handled so well.

2 Angier & Stacey’s Bilyara Donatella Dei Rovi Fioriti (Imp ITA), another delightful lady with much to like and admire. Balanced, correct shape with smooth lines. Feminine throughout with nice bone and nicely muscled. She cover the ground easily as she had the correct angulation. Another super girl.
81 Shahmatova’s Nashdom Strawberry Fields. Liked this girls movement and she really drives from the rear, she is well angulated and muscles so over the ground well. Pleasing head and expression. Nicely presented.

69 McConnachie’s Your Still The One At Thistleskye 3 yo tri who won this class on her easy movement. Correct bite, good ears and eye to give the required expression. Shown in good condition.

3 Aran’s Int/DK/KLB Ch Karma My Mica of Green Borderline KLB JCH DK/KLB VCH – Best Veteran Bitch/ BOSVIS 11 year old in super condition and showing little sign of her age. Such a lovely expression from her feminine head. Her side gait was such a sight, effortless and covering the ground from her correctly angulated front and rear. She was balanced with a smooth graceful outline.
85 Spurr’s Dreamwork Interstellar – red 10 yo girl who has a nice balanced outline on the stance, honest girl who appeared to really enjoy her time in the ring. Fit and in good condition. Covered the ground easily on the move.
