1st Taylors Arkoschi Don’t Stop Me Now

Such a smart, handsome chap here to start the day, he looks a picture in profile, as I sent them around to settle I hoped he was as good close up as he looked on the move…upon hands on inspection he certainly didn’t disappoint, I found him to be exceptionally well made all through being balanced in front and behind with excellent angulation, a good chest and a perfectly level topline, his front is straight with neat, forward facing feet, (turned out feet is a pet hate of mine, except in my own breed!) He has a good ribcage and this is where the correct length of body comes from with a short coupled loin, his rear was firm and well muscled and topped off with a correctly set and carried tail of correct shape, his crowning glory is of course his outstanding head, carried proudly on a firm, moderately arched neck. In detail his head is masculine, has the most beautiful eyes, both in shape and dark colour which give a saucy expression, his ears are of appropriate size and are shaped correctly and set at the right angle to give that typical chi look, his head has a slight dome , a good stop and an excellent muzzle with a correct bite. Dressed in a short, fine well-fitting coat of warm fawn, I absolutely loved this boy and as the classes went on, I found nothing to beat him! I was delighted to have had the chance to go over him and was pleased to award him best dog, best puppy dog, best of breed and best puppy in breed. Later in the day under Chihuahua specialist Martin Frostick, he went on to win a very worthy BEST IN SHOW. I can firmly say that he is one of the best dogs I have ever judged and he is full of Character and that shines through at all times in the ring which made me smile on several occasions during the day. I'll follow his future career with interest as he's destined for the highest highs. His owner/breeder should be so very proud. Congratulations.

2nd Incerti’s Jahneemahs fools gold at perlanera

8 months and a bit bigger, cream boy with good pigment, good head features and a well made body maybe a touch on the longer side, but he strutted his stuff and moved out soundly and was true each way.

Junior dog

1st Neath-Coyne and Coyne’s Jorazan Sox it to em with Buffrey

11 months light red who displays a lovely outline, balanced with a well carried head and a correctly set and carried tail either end of a true, level topline, made well throughout he has good angulation fore and aft and is therefore balanced, his head is typical with a very nice ear set and size, a dark eye and a good muzzle. Moved out smartly away and back and kept his balance on the move. A most promising boy who I can imagine will gain his title with maturity. One of my favourite smooths on the day.

2nd Anderson’s Diamonchi Italian Man

13 months and a shade bigger, the most gorgeous, typey head and expression with good pigment, like his set on of ear and his neck, his shoulders were well laid and his rear angles matched, I’d have preferred a straighter front, but liked him for type.

3rd Ousbey’s Cazants Devil in Disguise

Novice

1st Todd-McCoid Monicachi Mr money Bags For Rubyanlo

10 month fawn, small and well balanced, he has a good bite and a correct head to muzzle ratio, well set ears and with more confidence will hold and use the better, me moved ok and I certainly saw enough but again a little more confidence will make a big difference.

2nd lynch’s Arkoschi Rite Here Rite Now at Garnox

Tri at 11 months very nice head properties with a dark eye and good muzzle and good shape of skull, made well all through and sound on the move but not as firm on topline as the winner.

3rd Incerti’s Perlanera Echo Echo

Post Grad

1st Jones’ Peepytolyn Rich Tea

2 and a half years, red boy with a fabulous expression and pigment, cracking ear set and a saucy dark eye, in body he was well made with a great rib, correct couplings and a well held topline, his front was good with a good lay of shoulder, straight front and good forechest. Moving soundly and lightly carries tail a little too far over, but much to like.

Open 1st Poyners Anadeia Ovation for Mikichi JW

2 and a half year old cream boy who ended up reserve best dog, I felt he had everything balanced and in the right place. His head was lovely, masculine with dark eyes and a well shaped and balanced muzzle with a good shaped skull, his ears were a good size and set on to advantage, combined gave a great expression, good bite.

Good body proportions and a firm, level back line, good ribs and forechest. Light and free on the move he kept his shape well.

2nd Hall’s Jorazan Roody Red Sox JW

Smart red, who overall makes a clean shape, beautiful pigment and an excellent bite, moves out well holding a level topline and a correct sickle tail. Just nit picking I simply preferred the head and ear of the winner

Veteran dog

1st Smith’s Lemaritz Mastermind at Nayelichi

7 years darker fawn, correct bite with all his teeth!

Good body and balance, and keeps a level topline, good ribs, I liked his head which was very typical, head and skull shape good with a well set and sized ear and a lovely dark eye of correct shape, smart and brisk on the move he was sound all ways, coming back to a smart stand at the end. Best veteran dog and best veteran in breed. Later best veteran in show.

1st Ginger’s Jodeschi Glamour Puss

11 months and well balanced all through, pretty headed girl with the correct skull shape and a well proportioned muzzle of good shape, well set ears of an appropriate size, neck was good and shoulders well laid continuing into a level topline. Length to height proportions were balanced being a shade longer than tall, good tail set which was carried well, she moves out soundly once settled and stands well on her straight front legs and parallel rear. Reserve best b and Best puppy b

2nd Hobbs’ Charonchi Miss Goldfire

9 months and a shade bigger, she displays a lovely head piece but just lacks the more feminine outlook of the class winner, she is well made all through with a good front assembly and a correspondingly angulated rear which gives a balanced exhibit. Moves out correctly.

3rd Halls Jodeschi Sox Appeal at Jorazan

Junior b

1st Jones’ Peepytolyn Tea Black

Tri girl who cuts a nice shape in profile, she has a very typey head with a feminine expression, dark eyes and well set ears, a correct bite and a well shaped muzzle, level topline and a well held tail, would like a firmer rear assembly and slightly less wide rear movement.

Novice b

1st Halls Jorazan Talia Toffifi sox

Post graduate b

1st Incerti’s Perlanera Tinzy Strider

A pretty red girl who at 2 years old is confident and moves out well, she has a beautiful head with dark round eyes a well shaped skull and ears well placed, her front is straight with neat feet, good chest and ribs but topline could be a shade leveller.

2nd Jones’ Peepytolyn Teas Maid

Lovely pigment and dark round eyes a nice girl but was very timid and scared and therefore didn’t show her attributes off fully today.

1st Smiths Moltobello Miss Myrtle of Hulawawas

Tri girl who has a distinct feminine appeal, with good shaped eye, colour befitting her body colour, well set and sized ears and a good muzzle shape and skull to muzzle ratio, in excellent body condition she is firm of muscle in the right places, her front assembly is good, with a straight front and correct depth in brisket, elbows held close to ribcage and a well laid shoulder, her topline is excellent and she is well ribbed back, her rear is firm, parallel when viewed from behind and her tail is set on well and carried happily to advantage, dressed in a short, well fitting jacket she shows beautifully, steps out in style in a light, brisk cocky manner and she is totally sound every which way. She's the ultimate show girl and never stops. I was glad to see her here today and pleased to award her a well deserved Best bitch and reserve best of breed.

2nd Ginger’s Copymear War Paint for Jodeschi

Lovely head and expression on this 4 year old smart red coat preferred the front assembly of the winner. Moved well.
