1st Lynch’s Chirolin Magic Strike at Garnox

7 months red and white boy, up to size and making a nice clean shape, I liked his head with his well set ears giving definition of skull, nice eyes of good shape, correct bite and muzzle, liked his neck and forehand assembly, straight bone and a evel topline wit a well angled rear, tail set on well and correct shape, with pleasing feathering, good coat pattern in the right places. Moved soundly once settled.

Puppy d

1st Heap and Palmer’s Chirouxe Little Wonder at Lemaritz TAF

Red of 11 months, absolutely beautiful eyes, dark and lustrous with a wicked glint, a lovely sized, shaped and set of ear and good skull shape and muzzle to skull ratio, such an honest type and ultra sound, his topline was firm and level and he stands on straight front legs, neat feet and a sound rear which is parallel when viewed from the rear, his tail is well set and carried correctly, coat of good texture and in the desired places. Moves out well and stand smartly upon return. Best puppy dog

Junior d

1st Sparrow’s Casarow’s Alberkirkkey JW

17 months out of the top drawer, such a correct type and with everything there to become a champion for sure, I loved his head, handsome and masculine, with a saucy expression achieved with dark round eyes of correct size and set on the correct plane, with ears and stop, his skull is rounded between his ears which are set well and of correct size and nicely feathered. His bite and muzzle are correct and his head is held proudly on his firm neck which has a nice crest and flows into a well laid shoulder, his front is good with straight front legs either side a good depth of chest, neat feet and he is well ribbed, his topline is level both stood and on the move and his firm, well-muscled rear gives him drive when on the move whilst retaining a light , brisk action. His tail is set well and he is adorned with a correctly textured coat on tail, ears rough and trousers, liked him very much and is destined for the top, when he reaches it, I for one will be very pleased fo him. Reserve best dog today.

2nd Patterson’s Bramerita Mr Mowtown with Bramerita

Another future champion here too with so much to like, he has such a handsome head and is a lovely size, I loved his dark eyes and super head , good shoulders and front with forechest and straight boned front legs, he is firm in topline an has a corresponding rear assembly in terms of angles to give a good overall balance, dressed in a good coat in the right places, moved out soundly and is true all ways, he just didn’t seem totally at ease today and dropped his tail at times, which was a shame.

1st Heap And Palmer’s Maciendas Ra

Another from this kennel which I really liked, he ended up best dog and reserve best of breed today, all were presented to advantage and had the right amount of coat and the correct coat pattern, in detail he has everything a male chi should have, masculine in outlook and an overall good sound construction, his head is ideal both in terms of shape and features, beautiful round, dark eyes set in line with base of ears and stop, to give a great expression, a lovely sized ear which is set well and accentuated the skull shape, all this held on a nicely crested neck of medium length, his shoulders are well laid and he has a good, straight front, good forechest and correct depth of brisket, well ribbed and a correct length of loin, good high set tail carried correctly and displaying the right amount of feathering, his rear is well angled and parallel, with feet pointing straight ahead, he moved out well and gave his all to show his ample virtues, just pipped the stunning junior boy to take best dog today and his owner told me afterwards he has recently been titled, congratulations.

2nd Todd- McCoids Rubyanlo Te Amo JW

TRI, Slightly smaller all through, and has a fabulous head and expression, one of the best of the day, straight front and good rear, to nit pick would just like a firmer topline, but he moves out soundly and is beautifully presented.

Minor puppy b

1st Hargreaves’ Tampico Sweet Dream NAF

This beautifully pretty and feminine girl was just gorgeous and ended up best puppy b and best puppy in breed, just pipping the lovely male….she is superbly made and at 7 months still has much more to come but the foundations are already in place and maturity will do the rest.

Her front is super straight with straight facing feet, a goos chest between and is well ribbed and a firm loin, she holds her topline level and has a good well angulated rear too. Her head is a delight with lovely eyes giving a hint of mischievousness , a well set ear of correct size all held on by a moderate neck, feathering and furnishings in the right places coming along nicely. Liked her very much, one to watch.

2nd Taylors Chantaydan Calm Your Nerves

Raw at just 6 months but another very pretty one, a gorgeous head and in detail, dark eyes and a good skull shape with ears placed correctly, holds a level topline and has a good body, simply preferred he slightly firmer front of 1.

Puppy b

1st Hargreaves’ Tampico Day Dream naf

Sister to the minor puppy winner having seen in the catalogue, and much the same quality and comments apply here, this sister also has a delightfully correct head of good proportions, the only thing is she is need to firm in ear which will come as she grows.

Beautiful front and angulations and also holds her topline well, both sisters moved soundly in a light, brisk way displaying their shape to advantage.

2nd Czyz’s Silverchi Monochrome

Tri with a pretty and dainty outlook, made nicely throughout but not the confidence of the winner and kept her tail down. Moved soundly though.

Junior

1st Todd-McCoid’s Rubyanlo Knock Your Sox Off

A shame she stood alone in this class, I’m confident she would still win many classes in strong competition. Dainty and small And ultra pretty, she has a lovely round eye and well set, flared ears and a good shape of skull, her bite and muzzle were good, front assembly firm and good for angulation, she had forechest and was well ribbed, holding a level topline and carrying her tail proudly which had good feathering. Correctly made and they move correctly, she did of course and held a nice shape.

Novice b

1st Todd- McCoids Rubyanlo Next Top Model

Light red girl of a year old, very pretty head and excellent pigment , she has a beautiful eye set in line, a good stop and well set ears of good shape, super muzzle and correct bite,

Holds her topline between a well angulated front and back which were firm and with good bone. Tail held well and carried to advantage. Coat of good texture in the correct places and presented well, this kennel is making a name for themselves and has quality abound, great to see youngsters coming into this hobby and succeeding. Reserve bb

2nd Berringtons Pappersley Cenotaph

3 years and dainty and very feminine, excellent make and shape but to nit pick slightly would like a tad more neck, she is however very beautiful with the most gorgeous expressive eyes, good muzzle to skull ratio and well fringed ears, moving she is sound and uses her correctly angulated rear to drive soundly.

3rd Swales’ Sealaw Picture Perfect

Post Graduate b

17 months and coming into her own now with excellent coat and furnishings in the right places, fawn with a feminine head and a cheeky expression, she makes a nice shape and is properly balanced front and behind with good, well matched correct angulation, she has a good shoulder and chest and holds her topline level, moves out soundly but was a little enthusiastic and tended to high step a little at times.

2nd McGrath’s Rubyanlo Isn’t She Lovely for Maisenoaks

Nice head on this well sized girl, she has good bone I would prefer a little less width in front and a shade more behind, she was presented well and handled to get the best from her.

Transferred from post grad she won this class on her sheer quality throughout, no denying shes a girl, such a pretty head of good shape and proportions, with well set, flared ears and a beautiful eye, she is small and dainty but has good bone for her size, I was struck how well she looked at every angle, her front is straight and with a well laid shoulder and good chest both in width and depth, well ribbed and has a firm loin with then, a good rear which is well angled to give harmony in balance, her tail is set and carried well and finished with good feathering, light, free and brisk on the move, she holds her shape at all times and comes back to a positive foot perfect stand, liked her very much and happily awarded her best b, best of breed and was pleased to see her take reserve best in show later in the day.

2nd Entwistle’s Ch. Dorenty’s Textututango

Have judged this lovely girl before where I have placed her well in a couple of groups and despite a second today I think she is super quality, pretty and again another with super pigment, such a correct make and holds her shape so well. Moves out briskly and smartly. A very worthy Champion.
