Thank you for the invitation to judge this prestigious event at the Midland Club Show. Thank you to my stewards on the day and to the club for the wonderful gifts. I’d like to thank the exhibitors for bringing some quality dogs and providing me with excellent line ups in both males and females. The future is bright with some youngsters showing potential to be future champions in this breed. Congratulations breeders for your work in the breed to produce such healthy happy dogs. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and was super happy with my placings and all dogs had excellent characters.

1. PERIWRINKLES WHAT’S ALL THE BUZZ ABOUT AT ZARALEE (IMP CAN)

11 months old, well grown very striking balanced male of excellent proportions and balance. Strong head fitting his body type, width to muzzle with good padding. Medium stop, dark clean almond eye, flat topskull with well placed ears. He has an excellent shoulder and return of upper arm. Compact square body, well-ribbed back and short in loin. Excellent hindquarters, with good width to thigh. Good rise to top line and well carried tail. Good bone and substance with moderate tight body roll. He moved with accuracy and style, powerful on the move,with effortless accurate strides. Excellent coat and skin. I had no hesitation in awarding him the RCC,very impressive boy .

JUNIOR DOG (3,1A)

1. SHARPUGGLES BLOW ME DOWN

13 month old red of excellent type and balance giving a square, moderate outline. He has a well-proportioned head, moderate expressive wrinkle, well placed ears and good stop. Good width and padding to muzzle, clean dark eyes, correct pigmentation and super expression. He has a strong neck and good shoulder. Straight front, good bone and feet. Moderate tight shoulder roll, compact body, well carried tail. Strong hindquarters with good definition to hock. Moved extremely well in profile, just needs to tighten in front with maturity.

2. D’TERESCAN BOBBY FARRELL AT YOUXIA (IMP ESP)

Another super young male at 13 months old. Good balance and type although is a little plainer in head at the moment compared to 1, moderate stop and length to muzzle. Good depth and width to underjaw with good bite. Well placed ears, dark eyes with tight rims and good pigmentation. He has a good front and feet, moderate shoulder, good core, clean body and well carried tail. Good depth to brisket, powerful hindquarters with good width, strong firm hock. Another with powerful movement from his rear. In good coat and condition, excellent in profile action. Just needs maturity.

1. QUINNHALO SINGLE PRINGLE JW

Two years old, medium sized, moderately angulated male of good type with balanced leg length. Good head with moderate wrinkle, broad flat skull, good stop and width to padded muzzle. Dark eye with clean eye rims, giving good expression. He is moderate all through. Good shoulder and depth to chest, compact in body well carried tail, would like more definition of hock for perfection but has good broad thighs. He moved accurately, with sound moderate strides. In good coat, condition and muscle.

2. BEMOJO HAKUNA MATATA

Another typey male of 4 years old, similar to the winner in type and balance being moderate all through with good length to leg. Masculine head of good proportions, well placed ears on broad skull with moderate wrinkle. Broad padded muzzle, good bite and pigmentation. He is square in outline, high on the withers. Good bone and feet, good topline and tailset. Solid folds over shoulder, moderate rear balancing forehand. Moved with brisk even strides. In good condition and coat.

1. CH. CHERNYI CHIZH BELOVED BY ALL AT SHARPUGGLES (IMP RUS)

4 year old, brush coat of excellent type and balance. He has a masculine head with excellent skull to muzzle proportions. Flat top skull, small ears set on high with curled tips. Medium eye, giving super expression,well padded muzzle, good bite and pigmentation. He has good length to leg supporting excellent outline. Topline dips and rises to a well set on tail. He has excellent forehand construction, with excellent shoulder and upper arm. Prosternum evident, good bone and feet. Straight front, well ribbed back, good depth to chest and underline, muscular hindquarters with firm parallel hocks. Good breadth to thigh. He is in super fit condition, moved with balanced action with reach and drive in profile, and accuate foot fall. In good body and condition, coat of good texture. My CC winner.

2. WITCHGAIT SMILE WITH STYLE AT BEMOJO

Compact male in good body, but shorter on leg. Strong masculine head, with short padded muzzle, flat topskull, well placed ears, dark eye, expressive wrinkle to skull and cheeks, good bite and pigmentation. He has excellent shoulder and front, strong neck. Correct in topline with dip and rise over the loin to well set on tail. Moderate hindquarters with good definition of hock, broad thight and parallel hocks. He moved with good balanced action in profile. In good coat and condition.

1. CH COATAKINTI DOUBLE DARE

9 year old male of excellent type and balance. I judged him as a youngster where you could see his potential. Classic head, masculine with all the essentials. Flat top skull, well placed ears, dark eye with tight rims, strong well padded muzzle and correct pigmentation. Powerful neck and shoulder, straight front. Dip and rise to topline with well carried tail. Strong hind quarters, with good muscle for age. He is an ultra typey male with excellent brush coat. His movement is sound for his age with excellent footfall. My BVIS.

1. SHARPUGGLES HOLD ON TIGHT

13 month old red of excellent type and balance. Strong but feminine head of good proportions. Flat skull, moderate wrinkle, dark eyes, well placed ears, good padded muzzle, correct bite and pigmentation. She is well constructed throughout, compact and sturdy. Excellent shoulder, prosternum evident. Well boned front, tight feet, topline good with dop and rise over loin, tight tail. She has a powerful rear, good width and muscle to thigh and well let down hocks. She is in super condition. Moved with free easy action, with excellent footfall and covered ground in profile. One to watch for the future, quality youngster.

2. MIJUJO COSTA FORTUNE

17 month old fawn brush coat of compact shape, but heavier in body than winner. Strong but feminine head, flat skull, a little heavy in ear but well set, flat skull, moderate expfressive wrinkle, muzzle well padded, broad and deep. Dark eyes, good bite and pigmentation. She’s a little heavy over the shoulder. Correct in topline, and well carried tail. She is moderate in rear, would prefer more width to thigh. Gave a good account of herself on the move, with good outline in profile.

1. TERRA DOS CELTAS TELL ME EVERYTHING AT COATAKINTI (IMP ESP)

3 year-old red female of excellent type and balance. She has a beautiful head and expression. Flat top skull, well formed and placed ears, dark eyes with tight rims. Moderate expressive wrinkle, well-padded muzzle, correct dentition and pigmentation. Arched neck, well-constructed forehand, prosternum evident. Well boned front, tight feet. In good body, dip and rise to topline, well carred tail. She has an excellent rear balancing her forehand and strong firm hocks. She has style and type with her rich red coat of good texture. Her steady movement is footfall perfect. Pleased to award her the RCC, a future champion for sure.

2. WITCHGAIT TOAST OF THE TOWN FOR DEZELLUMI

17 month old fawn brush coat of excellent type. Very compact and square in outline, would like a little more foreleg for preference. She has a feminine head, good flat topskull and well placed ears when she uses them. Moderate expressive wrinkle, square balanced muzzle with good padding, good bite and pigmentation. She has a decent shoulder, good bone, good topline and set on of tail. She has excellent hindquarters, broad thigh and good definition of hock. Would like her a little more tidy in front but moved well in profile.

1. CH. LOOPANG’S BACK IN BUSINESS (AI)

This beautiful female has it all. Her head is captivating, so balanced in skull with perfect small  curled ears, moderate expressive wrinkle, dark almond eye, with tight rims.Muzzle well-padded with correct bite and pigmentation. Excellent shoulder and Prosternum development, and return of upper arm, straight well boned front and tight feet. Her body is compact with desirable topline dipping and rising over the short broad loin, with a well carried tail. Her body has tight rolls over the shoulder and well sprung ribcage, denoting standoff coat of excellent texture. Her hindquarters are muscular and balance her forehand. She has firm parallel hocks, broad thights. When she moves she is faultless, being accurate and in profile she is balanced, active with an exceptional sidegait. I could not deny her the CC in a super line up of females, as well as BIS over the fabulous male. Congratulations, she’s simply the best,she blew me away she is a true beauty, coupled with her static and kinetic balance. She is the consummate show girl in good condition and handled to perfection by her talented owner.

2. SHARPUGGLES PAMELA PUMPKIN

Another fabulous female of 3 years old. Classic head, well placed ears, dark almond eyes with tight rims, correct padded muzzle, strong in underjaw, tight lips with correct dentition and pigmentation. She has a strong neck, leading into well placed shoulder, good return of upperarm, straight well boned front with tight feet. She is in good body, with tight rolls giving good texture to stand off coat. A little longer than the winner. Moderate hindquarters with good hock definition. Well carried tail. She is a quality bitch who moved with good footfall and effortless strides. Should gain her title.
